The new Pop Socket Ultra Thin stand and grip has been a nice new accessory that has many nice features with only a few quirks. The first thing you will notice is that the Pop Socket ultra thin grip feels like it is very high quality. The folding stand ring is very tight and will not buckle under the weight of your phone. It will keep your phone up at any angle and not fold over accidentally. You can stand the phone up horizontally or vertically. In fact, it is so strong, that it can be a challenge to unfold it if you have very short fingernails like I do. But once you open it, it will stay in whatever position you want. The pop out grip is kind of dicey. You can slide it in order to get it to pop out, or you can try to pry it. Once it is out, it is very comfortable in your hand. The only issue is that the middle peice that folds out is very thin. I know this is the idea, but it does not feel very sturdy in your fingers. Especially if you have a heavy phone. My main phone is a Galaxy Ultra with a heavy mag-bak case, and the grip does not feel secure when you hold it. My secondary phone is an iPhone 14, which is smaller and way lighter, and it feels totally fine. I am just not sure this is for everyone. When folded away flat, the grip is very thin. I like this since it does not get snagged on my jean pockets. Your phone can even wirelessly charge with the grip folded flat, however it takes about twice as long to charge your phone and gets very hot. I would not recommend using it while your phone wirelessly charges on a summer day in your car. Overall, I do like the Pop Socket ultra thin grip, but I can't picture myself using it every day. I will continue to use my Pop Socket Kick Back stand which feels so much better in my hand. But if you have a lighter phone and like the super thin look and feel, give this Pop Socket a try.

Slide your fingers around the grip instead of gripping the sides of the phone seems more comfortable for many people. The version with MagSafe is even easier for phones that charge with MagSafe because you can magnetically snap it on when you need it and pop it off when you don’t. The only problem I’ve had with the original design is that it’s just too thick and the grip doesn’t sit flush when stowed so not only won’t my phone won’t fit in a pocket unless I took off the original PopSocket, but if I left it on, it would catch on my pocket on the way in. Enter the PopSocket ultra-thin! This has all of the great features of the original but is so thin that your camera’s bump will probably be thicker. That and the grip is completely flush when closed. No more complaints about sliding it into a pocket. Snap it on your MagSafe-compatible phone or phone’s MagSafe-compatible case. It’s ready when you need it and nearly invisible when you don’t. The part that pops out magnetically stays closed until you need it. Slide the center to any side to pop it open and then ease your fingers around it like the original. The cool thing is that your phone can still charge via MagSafe through this, although depending on the thickness of your case, it might slow things down a bit versus “naked” charging. Pull your phone (with this grip mounted) off a MagSafe charger or mount and the socket tends to pop open and is ready for your fingers. Around the circumference is a metal ring with a tight hinge. Stored flat it looks like a piece of metal trim, but you can pull it out with the finger hold stowed flat and then you can prop your phone up in either portrait or landscape. It probably goes without saying that this metal ring needs to be stored flat against the phone for all other uses of the grip or the MagSafe feature. Note also that the grip cannot easily be rotated once snapped onto your phone (or case), so best to pay attention to the orientation of the hinge if you plan on using it to prop your phone up. Otherwise you’ll have to pop the grip off and reposition it first. This grip is magnetic on the outside as well, so you can snap it onto your phone or case via MagSafe and then it can hold your phone to something metallic like a fridge. However, as mentioned, this grip is so thin that your camera’s bump probably sticks out further than this grip so your phone probably won’t hold onto a metal wall or item very well without the bump preventing it from resting flush. Trade-offs for thinness, right? For phones that don’t have MagSafe, there is a metal ring in the box that you can stick onto the back of your phone. Not quite as good as natural MagSafe but it works and you can still take advantage of this super thin grip. I also have a competitor’s similar product and while theirs is a tad smaller in diameter, this PopSocket is a bit thinner and the metal ring is a more secure way to prop your phone up. I haven’t seen any decorative parts for this one yet, but the disc that pops up is flat so I assume that stickers or other similar decorations will be available soon. If not, you can probably find something fun to stick onto it. This PopSocket grip is a super convenient way to add PopSocket security and convenience to your MagSafe-compatible phone while adding almost no measurable thickness. How can you go wrong?

I'm one of those crazy people who likes to use their phone without a case because I love the material and look of the bare device. I know PopSockets are super popular, but having never used one before, this specific grip caught my attention for three reasons. 1) SUPER THIN AND LOW PROFILE: It is shockingly thin—less than the camera bump on my iPhone 17 Pro. As in, equal to the bump before you get to the lens thin. As the lens protrude past it. This creates some problems that I’ll list below. This is good because I barely notice it is there and it never comes off when slipping it into my pocket. It’s bad because it’s so thin it doesn't provide any table protection, so I still get the camera bump wobble… it is just less pronounced now. Next, at first, due to the thinness I had a hard time getting my fingers to fit. But this has loosened up a lot since that time and now that is no longer a problem. But does make me wonder if it will just eventually rip seeing as it is plastic. However, in the meantime, I can now reach everything on my screen with just one hand while keeping my phone securely in my hand. Last, deploying the "pop" is easy: just catch it with a fingernail, slide, and it pops out. A simple press returns it to its low profile. 2) MAGSAFE CONNECTIVITY: It attaches to the back of my phone just like any other MagSafe accessory, meaning easy on and easy off. The magnet is strong and takes intention to remove. I also love that it allows pass-through, so I can attach my phone to other MagSafe mounts while the grip is still on (which rarely is the case). However, there's a catch: the pass-through magnet is stronger than the phone attachment. When pulling my phone off a mount, the PopSocket stays behind, and its low-profile design makes it hard to pry off the mount. Additionally, while it claims to attach to flat metal surfaces, since the grip doesn't extend past the camera bump (for my phone), this means it won't mount flush on metal surfaces (due to being off center ruining the magnetic pull) unless you position it so the camera bump hangs off the edge. At which point it works brilliantly. 3) BUILT-IN KICKSTAND: The metal ring around the edge doubles as a kickstand. The hinge is tight, meaning it easily holds the phone up in both portrait and landscape modes, adding a ton of versatility. As you can adjust the angle to be pretty much whatever you want. Having my phone propped up on my desk makes it incredibly convenient to check notifications as I can just look over or quickly tap to see the time. It also improves speaker audio in portrait mode and makes interacting with what I'm reading much easier. Especially, if you’re a student who uses their phone for the textbook or similar. This might be my favorite feature—it gives me the utility of a kickstand without altering the bare feel of my phone. *A QUICK NOTE ON CASES: Even though I prefer going caseless, I did test this with a case on. Interestingly, almost every negative I mentioned above vanishes. The camera wobble is gone and it mounts flush to metal surfaces perfectly. The only issue that remains is the grip staying stuck to other mounts when you pull your phone away. Overall, this is a worthy upgrade. It elevates the phone’s usability without interfering with the aspects I like most about carrying it case-free. Easy recommendation from me. I gave it 4/5 stars simply because without a case it doesn't work perfectly (granted most users have cases). Also, it staying behind on other MagSafe accessories is annoying. However, I would prefer a stronger magnet where it will stick to a metal surface (say a fridge) or the MagSafe accessory vs the magnet being generally weak and not having those problems. Granted the in-between of that is the "goldilocks" zone.

To be completely honest, I have never used a Pop Socket on my phone before this one. I never really saw the allure or need, and, to take it further, I kind of looked odd at those who did. Well…I guess what they say is true: ignorance is bliss (sort of), or maybe, don’t judge a book by its cover. I really like this thing. Perhaps these have always been great, or maybe this model is just that good. Regardless, it has been working for me. Admittedly, I am holding my phone slightly differently which is taking some time to get used to, but it is very comfortable to use and feels very secure in my hand. Which, really, is the goal. I do feel kind of foolish for never trying one sooner. The compact, simple, and small stand is just another bonus and a great add. It works well, in all orientations, and eliminates any friction when either watching or creating content on the go or whenever I need to be hands free. Beyond all of that though, the biggest thing for me is how slim and out of the way it is. It is so thin it really almost does not seem there. I think that was the main reason I never gave one a try. I didn’t want the bulk. The MagSafe application is another ease-of-use thing that I really appreciate. No adhesives, easy off and on (but still sturdy), AND allows for charging as well as very versatile mounting options. Lastly, while quite affordable, it is well-built and I think they made some good materials choices. It is nice to see. I will have to keep an eye on it, but I suspect it will hold up over time, even with my phone in my hand admittedly more than I would like. In the end, even though I had my doubts going in, it turns out I was the one missing out and should have been the one getting those odd looks I was giving. This is a solid product, does what it advertises, very well, and, most importantly to me, I think offers some real life improvements. I think for what you get, the cost, and given how much time we all spend on our phones, the value is definitely there here.

The PopSockets MagSafe Low-Profile Ultra-Thin Universal Magnetic Grip is one of those accessories that seems like a simple variant of a classic product on paper but ends up being a nice evolution from the classic design. I have used classic PopSockets on my cellphones for years, but this version feels much more refined thanks to its slim profile and magnetic design. The first thing that stands out is just how thin it is. Unlike traditional phone grips that add noticeable bulk, this one sits nearly flush against the back of the phone when collapsed. Installation is about as easy as it gets: simply place it on the back of a MagSafe-compatible phone or case and it snaps firmly into place. Despite being easy to remove when needed, I never felt concerned that it would accidentally detach during normal use. The grip itself works exactly as you would expect from a PopSocket. With a quick pull, it expands into a comfortable finger grip that makes holding larger phones much easier and more secure. I found this especially helpful when using my phone one-handed for extended periods of time. One minor tradeoff of the thin design is that the grip mechanism’s structure makes it less rigid compared to traditional PopSockets, which means the phone will droop in some PopSocket mounts. One feature I ended up using more than expected is the integrated metal adapter ring. It rotates smoothly and can be positioned at virtually any angle, making it useful both as a grip and as a kickstand. The hinge for the metal ring is stiff and the ring stays in position firmly at any angle. It has a nice long reach, so even my large phone can stand nearly upright in portrait mode. Another nice surprise is that wireless charging still worked through the PopSocket, so I did not have to constantly remove it when placing my phone on a wireless charger. This was a nice upgrade compared to my classic PopSocket. Overall, this thin, magnetic variant of the PopSocket strikes an excellent balance between functionality and minimalism. The slim design, strong magnetic attachment, adjustable kickstand, and support for wireless charging make it an easy recommendation for anyone looking to improve the ergonomics of their phone without adding unnecessary bulk.

This is an extremely thin PopSocket. I tried it out shortly but I will say I think this is suited more for people with thinner fingers as I personally couldn't get comfortable with it. So I gave it to my wife who has longer, thinner fingers than me and she absolutely loves it. She said now that she has it she can't live without it. She loves how thin and noninvasive it is on the back of the phone. The magnet is strong and still allows you to attach to other magsafe products, however one issue we are running into is wireless charging does not seem to be as effective, or existent really at all. I am pairing this with a DBrand ghost case so it could be the case interfering. It adds practically no additional weight. My wife notes she likes how flexible it is and the texture used, she states how gives her much better grip. She also likes that when she isn't using it, you can't even tell it's there and how it doesn't get in the way of using the phone as is. The kickstand is nice too, she uses it to stand her phone up when listening to music. Now as a larger male the only thing I'd recommend is to make one that can stretch further out and to extend a little more for my thicker fingers. Other than that, this is a really impressive PopSocket and it has been very beneficial to my wives every day use.

The PopSockets MagSafe Low-Pro simplifies handling your phone securely and provides a convenient stand, all while maintaining a sleek, unobtrusive design. With its minimalist appearance, I barely notice it until I need it. The Low-Pro really bares its name as it is so thin with the retractable grip so flush. Out of the package, it was ready to go as it snapped solidly to my MagSafe compatible phone cover. It doesn’t move an inch once installed and feels part of the phone cover. I’ve never had an issue sliding in and out of my pocket. Operating the PopSockets Low-Pro is truly easy. With a quick tug, the “Ultra-Thin” grip pops out without effort and snaps back with authority into its flush position. With the grip out, it provides a secure anchor and I no longer fear dropping my phone, which has happened a lot in the past. One thing I’ve noticed is that the grip feels a bit tight with my larger hands, and during extended sessions the tight squeeze becomes noticeable but it’s no deal breaker; better tight than too loose. The feature I use the most, especially at the office, is the multi-angle stand. No more looking for a separate stand, or improvising with a mug or a back wall, the ‘Ultra-Thin” stand is a true revelation. Whether you want your phone to stand horizontally or vertically, it maintains the set angle perfectly without worry that it would move. I found it to be 100% reliable every time I used it. I’ve also noticed that I don’t need to remove it with the Magsafe car mount in my vehicle which is another plus. As for charging to a MagSafe pad or stand, it has to be removed which is to be expected. In conclusion, The PopSocket Ultra-Low is a real winner. It resolves the main complaint of traditional grips with its low unobtrusive profile while tightly hugging the phone cover and providing a stable reliable stand and a secure grip that effortlessly pops in and out. With its sleek look and great quality build, I’d recommend it to everybody with a MagSafe phone holder.

This Pop Socket is designed to be super light and low profile while offering mag safe compatibility for both holding and charging. It also adds a kickstand which is useful if you want to set your phone down and tilt it for easy viewing. This Pop Socket does work very well my only major complaint is that the pop socket is soooo thin, it is like plastic/rubber mesh and I'm not really sure how durable this will be over time. It feels like too much of a tug could easily tear it right off. I have used Pop Sockets in the past and many do prefer them for that ability to have more stability and control while doom scrolling their social media feeds. I only use it when I am actively shooting videos or movies in areas where dropping my phone could be disastrous, like near water or heights. Otherwise I feel like they can be a bit bulky, but this new version is not so, you can keep it connected all the time especially if you don't have a case it works great and keeps the super thin profile of the phone. I used it with an iPhone 15 Pro Max with no problems at all charging or holding on a Mag Safe ring, charger or car mount.

To use it as a grip, simply slide a fingernail under the inner ring and pull up. Many integrated phone grip stands have less usable angles for group photos, but the Popsockets Low-Pro does a great job at being both a phone grip and stand without adding additional bulk.

The newest Popsocket MagSafe Low-Pro Ultra-Thin Universal Magnetic Grip with Adapter Ring is great. I haven't had a popsocket in forever because I was having to choose between Magsafe cases that worked with my vehicle mounts, or having a popsocket for easier holding and viewing, or minimizing the amount of weight and space my phone cases took up, but now I don't have to choose. I set mine up on my DBRAND clear case for my S25 Ultra and it worked perfectly. It is insnaley simple to set up, just open the pack, line up the popsocket with the Magsafe ring on your phone case, and it grips immediately. The grip strength is just perfect to where it feels secure and holding tight, but also if you want to pivot it or pull it off you can without having to fight it or get a tool to pry it off. I really love the slim low profile aspect of it, its claim is about 2.6mm of added height, which in my test was only about 2 credit cards high, thats very thin. Despite the size it still has the basic functions of a popsocket, the outer ring provides a secure one-handed hold, functions as a kickstand for portrait or landscape viewing, and the inner circle pops out for the classic popsocket grip. I'm definitely getting a lot of use from it just from the kickstand ring alone but not giving up my mag grip compatibility is absolutely brilliant, an absolute must have.

The Popsocket MagSafe Low-Pro Ultra-Thin Universal Magnetic Grip with Adapter Ring is an accessory I had never tried before. I had my doubts to be completely honest. But upon unboxing and installing it on my iPhone 17 Air, which took mere seconds to do I might add, I'm thoroughly convinced. This is a quality accessory with purpose. It would be a big understatement to say that the Popsocket MagSafe Low-Pro Ultra-Thin is weakling. This thing has an array of 'serious business' magnets in place. The magnetic holding force is quite frankly insane! Popsocket included a integrated, solid ring to make removing the Low-Pro Ultra-Thin grip easy peasy and it also functions as a prop/stand. In terms of the collapsible grip-disc, it's way to early to say how well it will hold up to daily use but from the looks of it - it's an ingenious design and the low-profile, ultra-thin description is no lie. Fully retracted, this grip widget is insanely thin. Regarding comfort, the grip retractable legs naturally flex to provide a confident placement on the hand. Not sure what else to add here; this thing is everything they say it is (early on..) and nothing that I expected. If you want something that isn't cheap feeling and works with total confidence - buy one of these! It's staying on my iPhone 17 Air!

The Popsocket MagSafe Low-Pro Ultra-Thin Universal Magnetic Grip with Adapter Ring for Cell Phones, herein after referred to as the Popsocket MagSafe, is in a word, handy! It is simple, easy to use and the only problem is with my physical handicaps it can be difficult to get the fingers of my left hand under the PopUp handle but that is easily remedied and to be honest, once my fingers are there they're not coming out very easy! The PopUp makes holding onto my iPhone much more secure and to date I haven't dropped my phone when using the phone as a phone! And that's even if I take a small tumble! It attaches as the name implies magnetically and the popup socket is actually lifted up gently by your fingers. There is also a handy hinged metal ring which you can use to place your phone at a tilt on a flat surface for doing a Face-Time call, watching a video (not something I care to do) and listening to music (something I do enjoy!). All in all the Popsocket Magsafe is genius made conveniently simple and easy to use. Highly recommended? Indeed! So then, 5 STARS for doing exactly what it is designed to do. Make keeping a hold on your sell phone easier and a bit more secure!

I only recently got into the whole Magsafe craze, first with a magsafe case and chargers, then a magnetic hands-free mount for my truck. It has grown on me as a very practical feature over the last few months. I personally like my phone case to be as slim as possible, while still offering good protection, so adding anything to it that would make it bulkier is not desirable. This particular Popsocket Magsafe Low-Pro Ultra-Thin is as the title says very thin, so it meets my requirement to not add too much bulk to my case. Moreover, it’s removable, so I don’t have to have it on my phone at all times. I was debating getting a case with a built-in kick-stand, but those are usually fairly bulky. This Popsocket transforms into a kick-stand and because it magnetically attaches to your phone, it can easily be rotated, so I can use my phone in both portrait mode and landscape. So I can have a hands-free video chat or watch a show in the background, while working on my computer. The metal ring and magnet is very strong, while light weight and the pop-up grip is thin and comfortable. This particular model is on the expensive side, but if you can afford it and buy it on sale, you won’t regret it.

Have you been wanting a popsocket without the bulkiness of a popsocket? You are in luck - they’ve made one! This little marvel is great. Super sleek and light, with no bulk. This sits almost flush on the back of your phone. Slides into your pocket without getting caught. This is attached by magnetic (magsafe) and works like a charm. In addition to the popping out grip it also has a kickstand. This really is a well thought out accessory, where it really feels like they listened to their user base to come out with a new and improved product. The kickstand works flawlessly and the grip is great. When you pull it open the inside feels flimsy but sturdy at the same time. I’m not sure how to describe that. It’s a thin rubbery material that obviously is why it’s so flush with the phone. Having a kickstand and magsafe seem mandatory to me so this solves both those issues, plus having the grip is the trifecta. This would make a great gift and if you’re on the fence about the additional cost, I’d say it’s well worth it – this can do more than a standard pop socket and the thinness alone just makes it so much more convenient. I’d say go for it!

I currently have a Google Pixel phone with a magsafe case. I currently use a magnetic ring on the back for additional stability. I used to use Pop Sockets a few years back. I saw this low-profile version with MagSafe and It looked slimmer, so I had to try it. I could immediately tell when I opened the shipping package that just seeing it in it’s native packaging that it was significantly thinner than my current ring. It’s very light in your hand and it has a large very thin ring that also opens up to give you a similar feel as the ring that I had. The best part is the pop up pop socket just like your traditional Pop Socket. It fits very nicely between your forefinger and middle finger so that your thumb is correctly positioned to scroll. It’s very comfortable. My only concern is the material that fits between your fingers. It seems very well made and strong but time will tell. Right now, I have pulled my old ring off and am using this exclusively and am very happy. I would highly recommend this. It is lighter and thinner than the traditional ring

I absolutely love this PopSocket Ultra Thin Grip. I had to get a new phone case since my previous one didn’t work, even though it was a thin case. After getting the new MagSafe case, the PopSocket magnetic grip attached securely right away. The grip is instant, strong, and very sturdy. I also like that it can mount to any metal surface. Another great feature is the metal ring that pops out to hold the phone in either landscape or portrait mode. It’s very stable and doesn’t wobble at all. The plastic grip is easy to pop out and snaps right back in. It also feels soft and comfortable on my fingers. This is a very thin PopSocket which makes it super smooth to slide in and out of your back pocket without getting stuck. Ive been using it daily and it feels just as strong as day one. It’s also really convenient for everyday use, especially when I’m watching videos or taking quick photos. It makes handling my phone much easier overall. If you are looking for something that its thin and strong then this is definitely the PopSocket you need!!

Verdict: Wow, we like this pop socket with rotating Magsafe kickstand. It’s essentially everything you need in a kickstand. Unfortunately, it’s too expensive for what it is. First impression. I am not sure if this is a magnetic install only, or if it’s a peel-and-stick. It doesn’t say how to install anywhere that is obvious or noticeable. I tried to remove the plastic cover and almost ruined the pop socket part. Please provide better instructions. Beside the lack of instructions, I actually like that it’s a magnetic install so that you can move from one phone or case to another. Features: It sticks on magnetically, instead of being permanently stuck on a case, that way you don’t throw it away when your case is damaged. You can remove it when you need, or when you change case or phone. I love that it keeps the phone stable to text quickly with one hand. The kickstand that rotates is the best part, and it’s great that it integrates with the pop socket. Magsafe charging is a nice addition. Things I love: - Makes on-the-go texting or checking something on the phone more secure with the pop socket - Very convenient kickstand that rotates so you can use your phone in different positions or angles - Integrated Magsafe charging - It can move to another phone or case due to magnetic installation Things I don’t love: - It’s too expensive! It’s a cool accessory, but there is simply no reason… not in materials, not in quality, not in innovation, not in convenience… that can justify $40 for this gadget. Cases that include a Magsafe kickstand are the same price (or actually less)! I understand that value is in the eye of the beholder, but there should be a balance in pricing based on product cost to make it accessible to most people. - I think there should be a clear get-started card that says "Don’t peel anything! Just pop on your phone magnetically, and you’re done!” I thought this was a peel-and-stick installation, and nearly ruined the pop socket. - I wish the magnet was a little stronger so that when I remove the mag charger, it doesn’t pull the pop socket off. Overall, this is a very neat gadget! In fact, my daughter loves it and my wife wants one. But I am significantly disturbed by the price… which is not average-consumer friendly. I think that at a lower price point, say ~$15, this could be on every phone in America and probably do much more for the manufacturer and intellectual property holder(s).

Magnetic accessories are so convenient for phones. But when you have a poorly designed camera bump, it can be tricky finding ones that fit well. I thought I would give this popsocket I try, and I'm glad I did. Of course with the z-fold 7, you have to have a magnetic case. And that makes the camera bump even bigger. This popsocket seems like it was designed just for this reason , it fits perfect! It's also so very thin , under 3 mm. I can hardly tell I have it on my phone. This keeps me from having to take it off all the time , I can slip it in my pocket and never notice it. It also attaches perfectly to my magnetic car mount, I can even magnetically stick it on the front of my fridge! This is great for when following recipes and you can keep the phone out of the way and still easily see it. The magnets on this popsocket are very strong, I haven't worried about them slipping off of the phone yet. It handles bumpy roads on my magnetic car mount just fine. The bigger flip out ring , which is the stand, is very sturdy . It holds the fan phone in landscape mode open and closed. It holds quite well at different angles. The smaller pop out finger grip still has the problem for me of not being comfortable when I try to put it between two fingers. The further you pull it out the wider it gets and that's just not comfortable. However, I did find that if I only angle the bottom out and rest it on my middle finger, that seems to work just fine , and I don't feel like I'm going to drop the phone . This is the first one that's done that for me. The one downside I noticed of this popsocket is that you cannot wirelessly charge through it. It gets very hot and most Chargers stop. I sure hope they release this in more fun colors as I would like to purchase more of them.

I got this Popsocket magnetic low profile grip to replace the newest model of the Oh Snap phone grip. I've enjoyed that grip but was looking for a stronger magnet. Now that I've had some time to put this grip to use in many different scenarios and mounts, I'm really impressed with the Popsocket model. My phone is the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and it seems like the weight of it is just too much for my Oh Snap grip, my phone could not stay in place while at the gym on the lockers or the machines. It would slide down my fridge, and also fall off my magnetic phone mount once I went over a big bump. The very first thing I noticed about my new Popsocket phone grip is just how much stronger its magnet is. I have to use decent force to get my phone off my car mount and it just feels so much more secure. A huge bonus is the stand ring that flips out, I have already used it at least once a day and again, it feels so strong, my phone doesn't even wobble when I push on it while it's standing up. It's super impressive that this strong magnet and useful stand all fit into such a low profile tool. My one small grip about this Popsocket is when you pop it out for grip, the area you clamp your fingers to is uncomfortably thick. I have smaller hands but I would imagine larger hands would have no issues with the grip size. For me it is just uncomfortable, especially compared to the Oh Snap grip. Otherwise this would be an absolutely perfect phone grip.

I have looked at PopSockets for my phone plenty of times over the years and always passed on them for one simple reason. I did not want to lose MagSafe charging just to get a little grip on the back of my phone. The PopSockets Low-Pro finally solved that problem for me, so I figured it was worth giving a shot. The first thing I noticed is just how small and simple this thing is. It is not the bulky pop out grip you picture when you think PopSocket. It sits low and flat against the back of the phone and only pops up a little when you actually pull on it. That low profile makes it easy to forget it is even there until you need it, and it slides into a pocket without catching on anything, which was one of my worries going in. Day to day, I have barely used it myself for the grip function. My kid has actually claimed it as a fidget toy more than I have used it as an actual phone grip. The small size makes it a perfect fit for smaller hands, and the simple pop and click action is just satisfying enough that it has become something my kid fidgets with constantly. I did not expect that, but it has turned into one of those little things that keeps getting picked up off the counter and played with even when the phone is nowhere nearby. So if you have kids who like fidget toys, this might end up serving double duty in your house too. What works well, and the thing that actually sold me, is that MagSafe charging still works fine with the Low-Pro attached. That was the whole reason I held off on PopSockets for years. Every other version I looked at meant taking the grip off every time I wanted to charge wirelessly, which defeats the purpose of MagSafe in the first place. This one stays put and the phone still charges like normal when I set it on my charging stand. It is a small thing but it is the difference between a gadget that gets used regularly and one that ends up in a junk drawer. I do not have much in the way of complaints so far. The grip itself is small enough that if you have bigger hands or you were hoping for the kind of big secure handle the original PopSockets offered, this is not that. It is more of a subtle assist than a serious grip, so do not expect it to fully replace a case with a built in stand or grip if that is what you are used to. It also feels like exactly the kind of small accessory that could end up getting misplaced since it is so low profile, though so far it has stayed firmly attached to the case for us. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who liked the idea of a PopSocket but did not want to give up MagSafe charging to get one. It is simple, it is small, and it does the basic job of giving your phone a little more grip and a kickstand option without getting in the way of anything else. As an added bonus, if you have young kids in the house, do not be surprised if it becomes their new favorite thing to fidget with on the kitchen counter. For the price, it is a low risk way to get a little extra function out of your phone case without any real downside.
