Customers consistently note the Dronium One RC Drone's ease of use, making it a great option for beginners. However, many express concerns regarding the drone's short battery life and subpar camera quality. Issues with motor reliability and control responsiveness were also frequently reported. Despite its affordability, these drawbacks may affect the overall user experience.

My son absolutely loved it, he was amazed at how well it flew and loved connecting to his laptop to watch all what he had recorded. The dogs really seemed to enjoy it as well and even joined in on the fun, this product is very durable and even with the dogs playing as well, it never broke... I highly recommend this product.

I took this out to my front yard to practice. It went up then came down then shot back up again when a strong breeze took it and carried it far far away, never to be seen again.

If you want to learn the mechanics of drone flight, this isn't too bad. Good for indoor use but not the best for outdoors in the wind or in small yards with boundaries. You will be hopping fences and crossing your fingers if you lose it in a gust. The construction holds up well with traumatic accidents, although, I had to do one repair to realign the motor gears after a crash. The included screwdriver made it a simple fix. The camera basically sucks and is similar to an early cell phone camera. Not very clear but fun to use at higher altitudes in wide open spaces. My son's hands are too small for the remote but he gets a kick out of just watching others fly it. For the price its definitely a solid purchase but you will eventually want to upgrade to something larger with less plastic parts.

Received this as a Christmas gift. Got 10 minutes of use out of this before it broke and I had to try to deal with Protocol's customer service. After about an hour of charging you only get an estimated 7 minutes of flight time. A good portion of that is just trying to adjust the trim so that it can fly correctly. The trim settings aren't even retained between charges so expect to get 5 minutes max per hour of charging. I managed to get a couple pictures snapped before it broke, but the camera is very low quality and the pictures were very grainy. These facts alone would make me wonder if this is really worth $100.
On the second flight, 2 motors blew and the drone fell out of the sky. The drone survived the crash well with no visibly broken parts, but the motors would not start back up. I went to the manufacturer's website to see what could be done. They do not sell spare motors despite the fact that this seems to be the most commonly broken part from what I've read from other reviews online. So I tried to cash in on the warranty instead.
In the FAQ it instructs you to 'fill out the form at the bottom of the screen' in order to redeem your warranty. There is no form. I tried using their 'contact us' form instead, assuming that was what they might have meant. The form is broken and any time you try to submit it you get a 404 error. After some searching I managed to find an email address and sent them an email directly explaining everything. After a couple days they did reply and say they would send me 2 motors. As a side note, they did not even ask for proof of purchase, which leads me to believe that this happens a lot. I asked them if they could offer any assistance with replacing the motors since there were no instructions in any of the products manual or on their website. They just told me to be careful and wished me luck. It is little wonder that Protocol has a D- rank with the Better Business Bureau.
