I think the battery life is better than Duracell. I usually go for brand name only but my fiancé convinced me otherwise and I'm shocked when it comes to their longevity. The purchase was cheap and they last!

I use these D size batteries for a clock and a fan. They are long lasting and I've never had any issue with them, even though they are less expensive than most other brands.

These batteries exceeded my expectations! I’ve used other big-name brands, but the Rayovac High Energy D Batteries are just as powerful and long-lasting—if not better. They’re reliable and a great value for the price.

When I needed some D batteries, I decided to try Rayovac. I purchased them for a great price and they work great.

I bought the 4-pack Rayovac batteries to replace a set of better known brand batteries for a flashlight that went out. Per battery cost, the Rayovacs are far less expensive. Every test I can find online shows the lower price Rayovacs perform just a well or better than the better known (or better advertised) brand versions. I've been using the flashlight for a few weeks now and so far so good. The beam remains strong and I have not seen much degradation after about 6 hours of use. Batteries performance regardless of brand have improved over the years. Their ability (or claim) to maintain a charge up to 10 yrs in storage is the latest claim. I am not sure if anyone would buy a set just to store them away for ten years to prove or disprove this claim. Its good advertising nevertheless. Bottom line, buying the cheaper brand was a good decision. I don't think I would go back to the heavily advertised brands as the extra cost just doesn't justify it.
