Customers recognize the Lancehead Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse's appealing design, ease of use, and customizable lighting as significant strengths. Many appreciate its wireless functionality and responsive performance for gaming. However, some users point to battery life as a potential weakness, requiring more frequent charging, especially with the RGB lighting enabled. The relatively high price point is also a factor for some potential buyers.

I've been a PC gamer since about 2009 and have used hardware from tons of different brands. I found Logitech to be my favorite brand and use every one of their gaming products exclusively on my gaming desktop.
However, I recently purchased a gaming laptop to supplement my desktop and decided I wan't to pursue wireless mice! I actually purchased a G900 from Logitech and immediately hated it and returned it. So, seeing as wireless (serious) gaming options are decently slim, I went with Razer's Lancehead Wireless. From the moment I opened the packaging, I could see Razer took the time to make a "premium" gaming product.
I've used the mouse for roughly 60 hours of game-time so far and it has functioned beautifully. I am sort-of a "brand snob" and wont mix-and-match products in a system. So, looks like Razer not only won my mouse business, but also a new headset, mousepad, and other accessories for the new laptop.
With that said, I do have a few places for improvement on the mouse:
* I wish it had removable weights. My desktop mouse (G502 Proteus) has a ton of weight options and I currently have it as heavy as possible... It's nearly twice the weight of the Lancehead.
* Wireless charging. The one advantage Logitech has it their new wireless charging technology in the G903.
* 3-movement scroll wheel. The Lancehead only scrolls, it doesn't have left and right movement like many other similar mice in it's price range do.

When I first paired this mouse with the WiFi dongle and set my specifications in Razer Synapse, I expected this mouse to be just like my wired gaming mouse. I haven’t been this blown away by a mouse before. The reaction time was better than my Razer Naga. The ability to change DPI settings during the middle of a PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds match so that I can increase sniping accuracy with a lower DPI compared to close quarters with a higher DPI will change the way I play moving forward. The feel of the mouse sits perfectly in my hand. The additional buttons and how easy they are to reach make this mouse perfect for making better loadouts for different games. I am very impressed with this and highly recommend this mouse to anyone for any type of game.

It is a very responsive and ergonomic mouse.
Charging is annoying
If you have a the ambidextrous buttons take a little getting used to.

Best RAZER Mouse to date

I have owned numerous RAZER Mice, mostly because I would use a different mouse for each style (NAGA for MMO, TAIPAN for FPS, OUROBORUS for general wireless use). The Lancehead replaced the Ouroborus in many ways, the wireless is respectable in games, but the wired mode it performs like the taipan. Amazing mouse, highly recommend if you are looking for an all around good hybrid mouse for gaming and for wireless use. The battery life is phenomenal, although it does take proprietary razeratteries, so if it ever dies you will more than likely have to order from RAZER.

So this mouse is aesthetically pleasing. The lighting is really nice and I love the rubber grips on the side. Now for the bad, it’s a laser mouse, 140 for a laser mouse is already a lot. I’m not huge on the optical vs laser thing (I do prefer optical) but the mouse just wouldn’t charge to full, the synapse software was very flakey with this mouse, often would show incorrect charging or battery percentages. I’m not a fan of the ambidextrous design (although it does look cool) my hand just couldn’t adjust. You can turn the other side buttons off so you won’t inadvertently press them in game, but just clicking them anyway was a distraction and I just didn’t feel like I had total control of the mouse. I feel that this mouse should be around 90-100 and that’s stretching it. At least the mamba even though I think it’s a horrible mouse had a charging dock, this one doesn’t.

While this mouse is definitely on the more expensive side, it is very high quality. One of the best features of this mouse in my opinion is its ability to seamlessly switch from wireless to wired by simply unplugging the dongle provided and plugging the cord straight into the mouse. Wireless works perfectly as promised by razer with no interruptions. The only downside, other than the exorbitant price, is that it is slightly less comfortable to hold because it was built ambidextrously.

The mouse itself feels great and is very smooth and responsive. Unfortunately, there are issues with Synapse and Chroma when switching between wired and wireless mode. It will stop detecting the mouse when this happens (mouse will still work, it just wont be detected by the software anymore).

I game daily on PC and this mouse has blown me away. The ergonomics are my favorite feature because it fits great. The customizeable buttons are easy to reach and make first person shooters feel better. The lag on the wireless is minimal and I only really feel it if i get too far away. This is a great purchase and hope they continue making this series.

The mouse itself is pretty cool with the lighting effects you can program, but I don't notice a difference between it and my Logi MX mouse. It is really light and the charging plug is a bit irritating to work with but the mouse itself is pretty good.
