Terrible Upgrade.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this has an upgrade from my 2014 Razer Naga Epic. Sadly I returned it the next day. The 12 side buttons are in totally different locations than previous mice. This caused major issues when gaming and pressing the wrong buttons. They have no order to them as they are all different heights. The mouse itself also feels very cheap over my older Naga. Overall this is a huge downgrade from previous models.

Fantastic Mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this mouse to replace my old Naga Epic (which was also fantastic). I won't lie, I am conditioned to the 12 side keys on this mouse. The replacement is better than ever. Easy to install (of course Synapse remembered all my settings) and off to the races. Probably my favorite Razer product. Very comfortable mouse as well for long gaming sessions - recently was at a weekend-long LAN and I didn't experience any fatigue. Highly recommend!

Not worth the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven't even had this mouse for a year and it has already gone out. It just goes crazy when trying to use it. Very disappointing considering we spent so much money on it.

Pricey, but nice.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Alright, so if you've ever been on the fence about buying this mouse, I highly recommend doing so. If you're on the fence, that means you know about all of the buttons. If you aren't, then let me tell you some things about it. This mouse has an incredible amount of functionality, and a rather steep price (for a mouse). With 19 programmable buttons, you can do just about everything with this mouse. I have 5 different profiles set up on my mouse, ranging from surfing the internet to playing an MMO game. It's fantastic. The buttons do take some time to get used to though, so be wary of that. Once you get used to it though, there's no going back to a lesser amount of buttons. 10/10, would purchase again.

Fragile Buttons
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First Naga I had for 6 months or so until the #7 and #8 button went out. Next gaming mouse I buy will be a scimitar probably. Razers feel cheep after holding a scimitar.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for my son for Christmas 2017. It is already no longer functions. Seems that this should last longer than six months for the price.

Best Mouse Hands Down!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse is awesome. You need to try it to get it. It is listed as an MMO mouse, which I use it to play World of Warcraft and it works great, but the extra 12 buttons make a difference in ANY game! I use them in every single game I play... in WoW obviously I use them for every single skill and macro. You can combine modifiers to them as well, so I can use 1, Shift + 1, CTRL + 1, Alt + 1 etc... its great! In Skyrim I can use the extra buttons to access my favorites list so I don't need to fumble with the UI to change spells... in RTS games you can use them to get to control groups... in FPS games you can use them to change weapons... even in Cities: Skylines I use the extra buttons to change my timescales and access the UI. This mouse applies to every function of gaming. It is so ingrained in my life that I will NEVER use another mouse! Period!! It comes with 12 buttons on the side that work in every computer function imaginable (not just gaming but you can use the mouse to do calculator functions!! So nice!) and it has a standard Mouse 4 / 5 button which is great for gaming and gives you simple control over internet browsing with going back and forward on websites, and the mouse wheel has a right and left scroll button. You can do everything from your mouse. Gamers know, this is crucial. This is hands down the best mouse on the market... so good I don't even know how others can compete. The addition 12 buttons on the side is so convenient that I don't even know how this is a gamer only mouse! I use these buttons for everything! Now all that aside, the mouse looks fantastic. It has a matte finish so it looks really good, and with the Chroma feature everything is colored and through Razer Synapse you can edit these things. If you have other Razer Chroma products it will sync all of them so its the same color through out your set up. It is awesome. That alone is a game its self I love looking at all the colors! Chroma scrolls through 16.8 million colors and is a beautiful display!

Unpractical unless you have kid hands

Great Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks- The mouse itself looks a little crowded with 12 keys on the side, but surprising feels great in your hand. Packaging was simple, colors are nice as well. Performance- The customization on this mouse is amazing. I have the mouse set up exactly how I want it; however, I did have to due a little bit of research on the product , because its extremely complex. It does perform up to its name though. criticism- I wish they gave you more instructions on how to operate and set up this product in the box. It would save me the time rather than going through you tube videos.

Fantastic MMORPG Mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: The buttons. I've loved the Razer Naga for years and have used the wired version for a long time, I tried a mouse with 6 buttons on the side and could not perform at the level I can with 12. It's fantastic. The Style. It's smooth, fits your hand comfortably, and doesn't feel like you're going to get a cramp even after hours of playing. The colors. I love the color schemes you can come up with! 16.8 million different colors? You'll never be bored. The response. 1ms response time is fantastic, I was worried that a wireless mouse might have a delay, but it's been smooth sailing with no noticeable delay AT ALL. The software. Download Razer Synapse, it's not just for the Macros/Keybinds, trust me. Cons: The buttons take a little bit to get used to. Be prepared when buying this mouse. Don't get me wrong, you CAN and WILL get used to it, but it takes a few hours of practice. (Type your phone number, type numbers you've memorized in, you'll notice how quickly you've picked up where all the buttons are) No interchangable sides. This is a small gripe for me, as the sides on my old Razer Naga were interchangable, but I don't have any issue with the preset side that's built into the Razer Naga Epic Chroma Overall, 4.99/5.00. The cost is high, but it'll last years.

Works Great With Mac
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having trouble getting my Logitech Performance MX to work right with my Mac, I decided on this Razer mouse and couldn't be happier! It tracks extremely smooth. It isn't good just for games, but also for normal use. I mapped the side buttons to do all sorts commands such as Mission Control, Launchpad, Expose, etc. I highly recommend this mouse.

Excellent gaming and work mouse!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Whether you use this mouse for gaming or for work, you won't be disappointed! I find that the build quality is great. The mouse fits nicely in my hand and I'm able to reach all of the programmable buttons. The left and right button feel very solid and the response times indicate around 1ms. Ergonomically, the mouse fits well in my hand and I haven't experienced any repetitive stress injury that my SteelSeries mouse gave me. Buttons: Whether you bought this for gaming or work, you can map the buttons to do almost any task (copy, paste, workspace switching, etc...) and you can configure profiles to sort out the mappings. Overall, great buy if you are in the market for a new mouse.

Great Mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse works perfectly with world of Warcraft, which was what we were intending it for. I love how you can customize the colors on it. The hand also sits nicely on it without being awkward, though sometimes I find myself accidentally hitting the number keys on the side.

Exceptional hardware, serious software issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First things first, the mouse looks beautiful as one would expect from Razer; the packaging was awe-inspiring and professional as always. I especially like the aesthetic metal grating at the front of the mouse. I'm just hoping that the rubberized black coating holds up. Now, my review of this product will of course be impacted by my past peripheral experience, notably the Logitech G602. The Good: - The tracking is undeniably superior. The naga was even able to track on a clear plastic cup. - Though it takes some tweaking to get it just right, the 16,000 cpi (counts per inch) feature with 1000 hz poling makes for seriously smooth mouse movement. - The option to enable different x and y sensitivities is a very appealing feature. - The braided cable is attractive, and looks to be pretty durable. - The lighting is very aesthetically pleasing, and I love being able to change the colors of the mouse wheel, logo, and thumb grid independently. - The right side of the mouse was designed quite nicely and is very comfortable to rest one's index and pinkie finger on. - The scroll wheel feels quite robust and features horizontal buttons (and looks pretty awesome with the rgb lighting). - Also, I love that the lights can be made to turn off when the display is shut off. - Although I haven't personally used these, the statistical features are a really neat idea. The Bad: - The concave button design on the left side of the mouse (the thumb grid as it is referred to) feels somewhat awkward to rest one's thumb against, but at least you can grip the mouse reasonably tightly without triggering the buttons. - The thumb grid will take some serious getting used to (this was a gift, otherwise I'd have gotten the Naga Hex v2). - The two buttons for adjusting the cpi (incorrectly called dpi or sensitivity) are not at all conducive to mid-gaming changes as opposed to the G602, whose buttons are located right off the left button. The Ugly: - Z-axis bug: lifting the mouse at all (say to re-position it on the mousepad/desk) causes the cursor (or reticle when in game) to move down and to the right. This apparently is a long known issue which has never been addressed. I tried adjusting the surface calibration, and sometimes it seems to work when the liftoff range is reduced, but sometimes it doesn't. I've managed to reduce the jump considerably (at one point, the cursor literally jumped half the height of my monitor) so that it only moves a fraction of an inch, but the problem seems to come and go sporadically, which is seriously concerning. To add insult to injury, I'm using the Razer Goliathus Mobile mousepad; there is literally no reason for the calibration between two of Razer's own products to not perform flawlessly. One would expect that reducing the liftoff to the minimal amount would mean that the mouse should actually have trouble tracking on a mouse-pad (which is textured) as opposed to a desk. Not the case here. Also, upon adjusting the liftoff range, and then bringing it back down to the minimum, the problem once again resurfaced and would not go away until a manual reset was completed. - Mouse Acceleration: although there is a slider bar ranging from 0 to 10, there are really only two options; there is no discernible difference between 1 and 10. It's often a neglected feature, but I personally like being able to quickly set my sights on a target with a flick (rather than a long drag of the mouse) and then achieve pin-point accuracy by moving the mouse slowly. This may very well just be a problem with Windows 10 drivers, but the product package specifically states that it is suitable for Windows 10. Razer's Synapse software does not update automatically upon changes made in Windows Settings, and actually requires you to move sliders off and then back onto the desired setting to take effect. Conclusion: By raw specs, this mouse is at the top of its game. If everything with the software was perfect, It would be a pretty great deal at $80. It has a great range of customization for hotkeys and macros, and the tracking is wonderful. However, because of the bugs in the software and mediocre button placement, I really can't say that the mouse is good or reliable enough to justify that cost. A lot of the options implemented in the software are fantastic, and would provide a great degree of functionality and customization...if they all worked. The 16,000 dpi with 1000hz poling should be perfect for a 4k monitor or above. I notice the smoothness of motion on my 2k, but it's marginally better than the G602. Generally speaking, you can make use of the full dpi capability by simply reducing the sensitivity in your mouse settings, though this doesn't necessarily carry over to gaming applications. I had a hard time deciding between giving this product 3 or 4 stars, but the z-axis bug is too serious for me to ignore. I'd happily recommend the Naga Chroma to a friend at $50 or less, but not for $80.

Wonderful for gaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I play WoW and I have to say, this is the best gaming mouse I have ever encountered. The 12 buttons make it so you can do anything with just your thumb. Its easy, comfortable, and fast. I've been using this mouse for over a year now, and it is still going strong. The learning curve isn't high either. It was super easy to adjust and it became even easier to game. I would recommend this 10/10. If you are a serious gamer, you should consider this mouse to be yours.
