It is awesome, strong ideal and multifunctional. The TV remote is better than the original one that came with the TV. A good deal indeed!

I bought this for my Mother-in-law who is not tech sauve at all so I need something simple and easy to use. Buttons are large, light up and very easy to use. She has had no problems using it and said it worked better then the original remote that came with TV. Only issue I had was the programming in the TV as there were so many codes for her brand of TV.

Slightly annoying to program, the directions don't read well, and we can't navigate menu items on the tv (sharp aquos). It's better than getting up to change the volume manually, however, since our baby has eaten through two manufacturer remotes and they are expensive to replace. For some reason, he doesn't find this one as interesting and hasn't out it in his mouth (yet)

This product has very large buttons, which is great for the elderly. Bought this for my grandmother so she could control her TV. Took no time to program the remote. The battery needed is not included.

Got this remote for my grandfather mainly because it's simple to use doesn't have lots of buttons that he doesn't need. Plus the buttons are a little bigger than most remotes and for him that's perfect. The design is a little different than a traditional remote so took a little getting used to but otherwise great product if you are looking for a good simple remote and cheap.

My 91 yr old mom needed a new remote and this works perfectly! Big easy to read buttons and not confusing at all.

Bought this for my 88 year old uncle who kept messing up his direct tv by accidentally pushing the wrong buttons on the rather complicated remote. This is extremely simple to operate and since he has been using it I no longer get phone calls asking me to fix his tv. The programming of the remote is a bit confusing and took about 10 minutes (need to program both the tv and direct tv box). It has been the best $15 I spent in a long time!!

This was easy to program and the large buttons make it easy to use and find. Its not the best looking remote but works well.

Remote is easy to set up and works great. Easy to read buttons, and lighting function is helpful.

Very easy to set-up and doesn't have a lot of 'extra buttons' which also means that it's not as customizable as some of the other universal remotes (consequently why it's cheaper). If you have 3 or more devices that you want to synchronize under one remote then this one is NOT for you. But if your dog ate up your TV remote and you simply need a replacement. This is your best option.

I got an old TV from work after a remodel. Unfortunately, it didn't come with a remote. So I headed right over to Best Buy. This remote was easy to program, and it's easy to use. The buttons are biggish (at least the important ones) and easy to see. If you need a new remote, get this one.

I bought it to replace the remote to the TV in our kitchen. Large buttons make it easy to change channels. Since the buttons aren't in the usual rows of 3 (123,456, etc), I have to pay a little more attention to what button I'm hitting. Took 1 star off because it doesn't have a button to go back to the previous channel. Overall, great inexpensive replacement remote.

I bought this for my Mom and with that in mind it is 5 star perfect. Not a lot of options but enough to get everything she needs done and with large enough buttons without looking ridiculous. I programmed it for her tv and it was a simple as abc. The price is great as well.

I set this controller up for my Sylvania TV. It worked with the first code but took multiple tries. I suggest you keep the manual. DirecTV came preloaded which made the process of easier and essentially replaced the other controller. The big buttons help my dad and grandmother easily work the TV.

Purchased this remote to replace a lost OEM remote for a Hitachi TV. Simple setup, works perfectly. Very basic remote, super easy to operate., large buttons and Is not confusing for elderly family member...

I bought this to replace a Seiki remote. The instructions didn't list codes for Seiki, but after a google search found out that LG and Samsung codes work on Seiki TVs. I did a amazon price match, which lowered the price to under $10.

This remote is easy to program, and use. Purchased for my dad who does not use electronics well. There are a few extra things not available on this remote that were on the original remote, but for dad it works great.
