Purchased this RCA - 2-Device Universal Remote to replace a failed remote. Setup to program a TV and Cable system was easy

Without reading a single page of marketing around this particular remote, the use case I see for it is getting rid of a clunky two remote setup at a lot of homes, where there's a cable box remote as well as the TV remote. My particular use case was for consolidating an old sound bar remote with my TV remote, but my belief is that, if you stick to just consolidating video devices with this remote (DVD/BluRay, cable box, streaming device, and/or a TV) you'll be very happy.

Directions are easy to follow. Set up and use are simple.Great for elderly people.

Connects rather quickly,glowing keys definately a big plus. Larger buttons help for the arthritic...great use for the simple operation of TV and a TiVo

Large numbers and easy to use. Like the control because there are not as many buttons as some controls have making it even easier to use.

I purchased this remote for my elderly father. It was a great simple remote to replace 2 other remotes and make running his TV simpler.

This is a great remote at a great value to replace my Apple TV remotes that my stubborn pup has substituted for her bones.

Purchased to program it to an insignia device other then a DVD Player to TV. Unfortunately, it isn't able to be programmed to all devices, so I had to return it. For kicks and giggles, though, I programmed it to my TV set and it worked great. Would definitely recommend for someone who is looking for a little bit simpler of a remote.

It would not link to my tv even after trying all codes for the tv. Light in your hand and instructions are user friendly.

My fear was that this remote would be tedious to program ( it's not) and would work sporadically ( it works all the time) . The remote is also seems to be designed for people who may not have the best visual acuity. The design is simplistic and the buttons most frequently used -channel and volume are very large.

Very reasonable price. Easy to see/press button functions, backlit light very useful at night. Simple to program to your TV.

Easy to program. Big backlit buttons are big help for my Mom.
