Bought this for my elderly mom .Big buttons are easy to use and not to many buttons to sort through. Contoured so it fits comfy in her hand.

We purchased this so my 98 year old father-in-law would not be confused by the "smart" TV remote that came with his new television. It has worked out great for him - and us! We don't get calls in the middle of the night about how to use it. We can sleep again! We are planning on purchasing another to replace the brand remote that has developed a "tacky" or goopy feel from age.

This device is great for our elderly mom due to the large, lighted keys. Very easy to set up and use.

I had to do some research on how to program a off-brand TV, Seiki. The guide/instructions did not list that manufacturer. It works as it should.

I wanted something simple that only had to handle a tv, blu-ray player and my DirecTV. The programming was pretty simple and easy to use. The unit has the ability to store your favorite programs but I didn't find this feature useful because you have to remember what channel you assigned to each of the 10 numbers since there is no readout on the unit.

Great easy remote to use but missing few features that original remote had. Great for older people who need big bottoms and big lettering

Needed a remote for a non cable connected tv. worked great and is easy for my mother to use.

The remote is a good size and good sized buttons. It unfortunately didn't work for my television.

Good large buttons, simple basics, found my TV in automatic mode, works for large hands.

The TV codes found my TV pretty quickly, and it synced up just fine, with all functionality appearing to work. I bought it for my grandmother, who would implode the TV with it's original remote, which clearly had too many options for her to handle. This has less options for her self-destructive ways, and she loves it.

I originally purchased this RCA remote control for my father to replace the remote control that came with his Insignia ROKU-built-in TV because the up and down buttons that are to be used to operate the channel menu system were too small for him. The RCA remote did help him a little but I had to reprogram the remote very often. Also the number buttons did not work but I think that is a compatibility issue since the ROKU-built-in TV channel menu system was designed to be traversed with up and down buttons. I finally traded him for my insignia remote for my non-ROKU insignia tv and that works a little better for him. I'm using this RCA remote now and it works fine and I have not had me to reprogram it once in the two months I have been using it. I do not have cable and use my Apple TV to stream things so I only use it for volume. That part works fine.

The remote works well with the tv I have. It is easy to use and was inexpensive.

Was looking for a simple, inexpensive remote for my older JVC television (this is the third remote that the TV has survived through). The original RCA remote that I purchased was simpler in design but none of the JVC programming codes properly configured the functions for my TV. I returned it and purchased this one which works perfectly. We like the larger buttons and backlit display.

I purchased the remote for my parents, as the one that came with the TV was to small for them to see. The large buttons and backlighting made it great for them to use. Simple buttons a true no frills remote, which was what they wanted. I do not recommend unless you wanting minimal features.

Does just what I need: on and off, change channels, and adjust column.

I really like this remote. It replaces 2 remotes for my bedroom tv. It was easy to program and to use.
