Excellent job integrating the camera and mounting on 2012 Lexus ES 350. My car has a Px6 touch screen built in, and I was worried that it would present too many problems to the technicians as far as making sure the signal was deliverable to the touch screen unit. However, they were not phased and completed the task in 1.5 hours. Great job to the team in Westminster, CO

Our tech in the Summerlin location was amazing! He did a great job, was kind and courteous and went above and beyond during our install. He completed the job in less time than promised and shared his knowledge and expertise before and at the appointment.

Excellent job by the auto mech team. My JVC sound system was professionally installed with backup camera as well. Since I had Best Buy tech membership actually I saved $250 bucks ! I would definitely recommend the Best Buy tech membership it’s worth the $$

Work done quickly and efficiently. Friendly and reliable service. Everything works as it's supposed to. Note: BestBuy apparently doesn't install any low-profile backup cameras that need to be mounted directly to the body of the car but instead only the ones that are mounted to a license plate frame.

Only took a couple hours for them to mount the camera. Works great.

I have had this done once before on an old 99 Malibu on a single din stereo. Now I just had it done on a 07 Ford Edge double din and backup camera. I am happy with the professional look and installation. It would have taken me twice as long to do and wouldn't look as neat. The reason for my four star review is because the guy that worked on my vehicle got distracted by a coworker, other customers, and his phone, making it take a little longer. He also didn't wash his hands or use gloves when messing with dirty parts of the car then taking out the liner/trim inside and getting the liner on the roof inside all dirty from his hands. He also forgot to give me the remote that came with my stereo and I had to make another trip to go get it, luckily I was still in the area, and although not his fault, I had to ask him to cut the bracket for the stereo since the double din face plate was a tight fit and didn't want to detach and be put back in. A simple cut of the stereo "harness" solved that issue. Other then that, everything works as it should I would have it done again. It was pricey, however if you wait and for a sale or good deal, they will sometimes offer free installation with purchase of a stereo and thats what I did. I paid $130 for backup camera installation though.

I had purchased a "wireless" back up camera to install on my ancient Tacoma pickup. The installation manual that came with the unit was worthless, essentially no information. I went to the manufacturer web page, and it was some better, but the obvious errors in the illustrations. So having professional help was going to be crucial. Making the appointment was very easy, and I arrived as scheduled. There was a slight wait, less than 15 minutes, while the prior customer was finishing up. The technician was very courteous and listened to my desired goal, where I wanted the monitor mounted, etc. He pointed out that he would choose NOT to install this as a wireless unit (which I thought would have been simpler) but his experience was the picture on the monitor is degraded by lots of electrical interference in most of the installs that he had performed. I valued that advice and went with his recommendation. The fee was the same, so made no difference to me. The installation was quicker than estimated, the job was very professional, it has worked flawlessly, and I find it very nice to see out the back of my pickup, esp helpful with parking and parking lot maneuvering. I would never have gotten this done, pulling the dash, hooking into the electrical system, etc. What was I thinking?? I would try to talk anyone out of doing this install on your own; unless you're skilled at such events. I know that I would have spent 6-8 hours to do this, with a much less likely to have a satisfactory outcome. It does not matter if you bought the unit at Best Buy, although in retrospect, I could have used some guidance when picking the model to buy.

Back up camera was a great investment..plain and simple...clarity of view is a little cloudy but didnt expect perfection considering the price! The back up camera lines come in handy...not 100% exact or precise but good guides....cam is hard to use when it rains however...all in all...plain and simple...effective...not perfect but effective!

I purchased a rear view camera online because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted at Best Buy. I couldn't be happier with the installation process and price ($99 from my truck). The technicians were timely, friendly, knowledgeable and good problem solvers. They clearly had a lot of experience with lots of different systems.

The BestBuy I went to took care of a new head unit along with license plate camera option. I had originally ordered a different type of camera to be installed but the helpful installer let me know what the pitfalls of installing that camera would be. He went through options to make sure what they were getting me would be helpful. I'm very impressed by the install and the professionalism.

Great Job. Great Service. Great Price. I wanted to get my own choice of Android car players. After doing some research I landed on the Vanku Android 10 Car Stereo Double Din with 4GB RAM+64GB which I purchased from Amazon along with the Vanku backup camera. Having never installed one or desiring to wreck my car trying, I decided to look for a place who would take care of it. I noticed BestBuy offered the service and not only that, it was part of their annual support plan. Admittedly, there were some bumps in the road using their website and initially ordering the install services, but one of their support guys directed me to go the support plan route. When my appointment date finally came around it took about 3 hours to complete. Since I knew going in that the unit did not exactly fit the frame (it's slightly larger) there was some customization to be performed. It's not picture perfect but I can live with it and perhaps add some finishing touches to the places that had to be altered in the frame. No biggie. The unit and the camera work perfectly and it is soooo much better than my old radio/cassette combo...yes, it had a cassette! With a year left on my support plan, I feel pretty secure. That's a bonus. I can even have them install one in my other car. Cool, eh?

It's my first time using the Geek Squad service, and the experience is exceptional! I had my car in for a rare camera installation. I purchased the camera and scheduled the service online. All I need to do was to pull my car up to the installation bay. When I talked through the door, I was greet by nice and friendly staff. Carols was the one that's helping me. And the job was done perfectly.

I purchased a portable Carplay stereo with a backup camera from Amazon and had it installed at Best Buy. I didn’t feel confident attempting the install on my own and Avi’ took care of me. His experience was reassuring and his craftsmanship was exceptional, which ultimately resulted in a the highest-quality installation. I am a very satisfied customer. We visited the mobile unit of Best Buy to have a backup camera installed. The work was done promptly and professionally, and we were very pleased with the result. The two technicians, Michael and Tyler were both friendly, patient and easy to talk to.

I went back to Auto Equipment looking for a Garmin 65 GPS and Back Up Camera and Adian happened to be back there working the sales floor and walked me through ALL the Pros and Cons of each option of GPS units and Cameras. Adian Also Advised Me that since I had just purchased the Technical Support Package for our Laptops that ALL Auto audio Installation would be FREE. I purchased the Garmin DriveSmart 65 and BC30 Camera and made the appointment for Installation. I brought my 2002 Subaru Outback on a Saturday Afternoon and Adian took care of all the wiring, hiding the wiring and the installation of both units. This week I will be talking to him again about doing my registration because the procedure from Garmin and Garmin Express for the End User is Ridiculous and vendors like Best Buy should demand that be changed by Garmin. Adian Is GREAT.

I have used my local Best Buy's auto department twice now, first to install a Nextbase 522GW in my wife's car and then the Rexing S1 in mine. In between the installs, I had a consultation w/ the team for the second dash cam as my car was a convertible and I needed help finding dash cams that would work in my car(that is how I ended up going with Rexing). The team here at North Hills, Pittsburgh is excellent! They did a great job fairly quickly and my dash cams look and work great. They answered all my questions about the product and I was very happy with the customer service. Because of all this, I highly recommend Best Buy for any dash cam and back up cam installs! P.S. - They are booked fairly solid for 3-4 weeks ahead so plan accordingly.
