Yep, I love it for day to day use! The key feel is amazing for all use, not just for gaming. I can give it a solid 8 for gaming, reaction is plenty fast and the coloring options are nice. The reason for not a 10 is the grip on the bottom of the board is not the greatest and I found it slipping with minimal force on the wrist pad that is included.
The key feel is a solid 10! The keys cup your fingers nicely and are smooth to the touch for a soft plastic feel.
The last gaming keyboard I used did not have a number pad and that just sucked, I could not use it when working from home. This one has a nice number pad with the same curvature as the letters making programming for work very easy.
I highly recommend this keyboard for the basic gamer but for someone that works on their computer for a living,

I’m currently using the Roccat Vulcan Pro Optical RGB Gaming Keyboard, so I was interested to see how the membrane keys would be compared to mechanical ones. I open the box to find the keyboard, plastic palm rest, and a quick start guide.
I plug in the USB cable and the unit lights up. Instantly it syncs with Swarm and changes the lighting to match the Vulcan and mice. I have two Roccat mice connected as well for review purposes. The keys are not mechanical, but although quiet, they give me good feedback/response. They have a slight click which is what I like. I learned how to type back in the 80s on an old IBM typewriter and like that feel. The backlight is nice, but I prefer the individual key lights of the Vulcan. It is nice though to have backlighting and it works the same. I used a wave pattern to see how they compare and the lights themselves were synchronized with each other and the Swarm app. I couldn’t see any issues with the lighting other than my preference. I like my keyboard raised in the back and the Magma has nice wide legs. Other brands have flimsy legs and tend to break if used a bit rough. These look to be well made and should hold up to my use. The plastic palm rest is hard, but it is comfortable and keeps my hands on the keys rather nicely. I did notice that the ‘W’ key doesn’t have any raised tabs to let you know if you’re on the proper key for gaming direction. If you aren’t touch key, you may find yourself looking down now and then. The F and J keys have the raised bar for your index fingers to find home, I’m not sure why Roccat chose to not mark the ‘W’ with the same raised underscore. I checked and the Vulcan has one. Lastly, the Magma has Roccat’s Easy Shift [+] which allows gamers to use the CAPS Lock key to unlock additional functions in the WASD zone.
For the price point, I think it’s a great gamer keyboard. It is a membrane keyboard and not mechanical, but the key feedback is pretty decent. I’d recommend it to budget gamers, but if price isn’t an issue, I’d go with the Vulcan Pro which is 3-4 times the price depending on sales.

The Roccat Magma is an excellent keyboard for casual gaming, and also an excellent keyboard for productivity! The membrane keys keep it quiet if you decide to use it in an office setting but it still has plenty of features that cater to your inner gamer! The RGB lighting is a nice touch, and goes a step beyond your standard RGB keys and lights the entire base plate! The palm rest makes this a great choice for ergonomics as well! Such a great value for a multi-functional keyboard, I absolutely love it!

A nice quiet keyboard, I had no issues while playing Fortnite with my mic on. The color options on this keyboard aren't perfect but they're pretty nice, I currently have mine a pink color.

The basic gamer who wants just a little bit more.

The reason I like this keyboard is because it gives me exactly what I want without overcomplicating things but still allow it to look great.
Keys:
The keys feel great and are very well constructed as well as placed on to the keyboard. I feel confident that each time I hit a key it will do what I want and also feel great. Key response is great and no ghosting .I like how this gaming keyboard keeps it simple by not putting a crazy amount of extra buttons all over. If a non-gaming person wanted to use this keyboard they could do so without question. I kind of like how this keyboard is as I am not always the only person who uses the computer. The one thing that I have noticed with the keys and the lighting is that if you view the keyboard from an angle it appears that some of they keys and more specifically the F keys and they number keys below that are kind of of cut off with lighting; however, if you look directly above or more closely that is not the case. The lighting might be just me without I have my keyboard and where I sit so others may not experience this.
The membrane/Swarm:
This keyboard has a light up membrane which illuminates the keys and all around creating a cool lighting visual as you game or surf the web. The membrane is really cool as it can change color all around and you can also adjust is with the ROCCAT Swarm software. The software is great and I actually leave it on the auto settings as it picks colors for me based on what I am doing. I like that its something different all the time. However, you don't have to do the auto setting and adjust to anything you would like. The swarm software also works with the other ROCCAT products so if you have there other products you don't have to download multiple pieces of software.
This is a great keyboard for the basic gamer wanting a little bit more and not go crazy on additional features but still having the included software capabilities for full customization.

Fun Keyboard

Out of the box this board is noticeably different from traditional boards. In today's world of RGB gaming keyboards, the boards are normally black and then the LED shows through the clear keycaps. The Roccat Magma board takes a unique approach on this with the whole board being frosted clear allowing the illumination to shine all over. This makes for an audacious RGB display under your fingers. Through the proprietary Roccat Swarm downloaded software suite you can customize your board in several different ways. First, this keyboard comes with the "Easy Shift" key which is a feature where you can program any individual key to have a second functions when the Easy Shift key (the caps key) and that key are pushed in unison. I found this one particularly cool when playing Minecraft and being able to duplicate keys that are right next to my WASD. Next and it is kind of silly, but you can change the sound of the keys when they are stroked. Meaning, this board is not a "Mechanical" and the keys have a softer & quieter stroke and feel. But you can add a specialized sound from their list like a typewriter or laser shot for example. It was goofy and something I would not extensively use but it is fun to mess around with. Then there is the lighting portion. The lighting options are a bit stagnant and limiting but the offerings are good enough to satisfy for this price point. My personal favorite thing they did add is a brightness control. For me, I did find at full illumination the board is distracting, especially in COD WZ. The coloring in MZ is so hazy and then having the board glaring underneath my monitor, I just could not focus on my targets as well. But after turning the brightness to about 50% I have zero issues with that now. Once downloaded there are a few other things you can manipulate but theses were my top.
The overall performance of the keyboard during gameplay was fantastic. To be clear, fantastic for this keyboard's price point. The comparison is like a mid-grade car as opposed to a high-performance automobile. The keyboard is good but there are better for probably more money. The keys do offer anti-ghosting touch which is a wonderful addition and keeps you on point when your fingers get flying around. The keys are also slick, and I would prefer a bit of texture to the keys so that I can feel where I am on the board while playing. Not a deal breaker just an observation.
I think this keyboard is as much about fun as it is about gaming and if that is you; then this is the right board for you.

Solid Keyboard, Can Be Used For Utility and Gaming

Let me first say that I'll be reviewing this keyboard from the viewpoint of a gamer and someone who uses her computer for work (creating word docs and excel sheets, occasional light editing on videos, creating graphs, etc.).
The product came packaged well with no scuff marks or issues. There are only two parts to assemble; the keyboard itself and the front rest. Both are easy to assemble, just a simple snap on that took me all of 10 seconds to do. It's also very easy to set up, just connect it to your computer where you normally connect a keyboard and you're good to go.
From a utility standpoint, I never had any problems typing out documents, surfing the web, or otherwise doing what I needed for my job. For gaming, even the slightest bit o lag is noticeable and I never had to deal with this. I play League of Legends, where key input delay is very noticeable. I haven't had an issue yet.
From a cosmetic standpoint, the backlighting is very beautiful. The keys sit on a white, translucent background. It's this background that lights up, not the individual keys themselves. The backlighting default, at least or me, is a kind of wave across the keyboard. It will start as one color and then change to another one from the left and then going to the right until the keyboard has changed to the net color. This cycle continues while you're using it. You can install the free Roccat Swarm software to play around with this. You can change the pattern, or just make it one solid color if you want (but what's the fun in that?). If you stop using the keyboard for a certain amount of time, the color waves stop and the backlight shuts off. This is independent of the computer itself going into rest mode, so the keyboard can rest even though your computer screen is still on. I was kind of worried this backlight would irritate me at night because sometimes I like to play games with the lights off. I'm happy to say this wasn't the case. It didn't pull my attention while playing whatever game I was playing and remained a beautiful backdrop to my PC setup.
I don't have many negative things to say, although I do have a few. First is that the front rest, while a nice touch and helpful, doesn't do much in terms of support. If you are someone who really likes a nice rest for your wrists, I'd recommend using your own padded one. Second, and this is mainly my personal preference, is that I prefer mechanical keyboards. I find the weight makes it a bit easier when playing games online. However, they are admittedly loud at night and can irritate others you may have to be conscientious towards. If you're looking for a solid gaming keyboard that doesn't come with the sound drawbacks that mechanical keyboards do, you can't go wrong with this one. Third, some of the keys have different symbols to indicate what they are instead of just saying "shift" or "caps lock". This wasn't a problem for me, but if you need that visual cue then this is something to consider before you get it. Lastly, if you're a WASD player, there's no way to make sure you're fingers are aligned with these keys. If that's important to you, I'd recommend looking for a different keyboard.
Overall, I consider these very limited drawbacks that don't detract from the keyboard overall. It looks good, offers users options for changing the color scheme/pattern, and won't give you any delay when using it.

This keyboard is just cool. Very cool. I love the light up body and the RGB keyboard keys. It's nice to be able to light up certain zones on the keyboard when in certain games. (ie flight sims)
The clickiness is subjective but I like it. It's not overly colicky and at the same time provides just enough click satisfaction. You can assign different mappings till hearts content. Very cool indeed.

This is my first membrane keyboard, I am a fan of mechanical keyboards for the tactile feedback.
The membrane is not for me nor the lack of a padded armrest but no noticeable lag in game play. Key feedback was acceptable but a bit squishy due to membrane I believe.
Key Travel is good but really a bit difficult to discern due to the membrane but feel it is excellent. The keyboard is quite so very good if doing late night gaming as to not bother sleeping family members. The lighting effects are great but it is the whole keyboard that lights not the keys alone. But still great light8ng options and colors.
Overall it is an acceptable keyboard both for typing and game play but much prefer mechanical keyboards.

Lighting Design Not for Everyone

The keyboard feel was not as expected. It is sometimes an individual response, however I felt the feedback from the keys was not clean or crisp enough for me.
I also felt that the engineers made a mistake by making the entire surface of the keyboard lit. What happens is that the individual key lighting is lost in the blur of illumination. I turned the lighting feature to its dimmest which helped. At full illumination it is distracting. Also when using anything but ‘fully lit action’, the wave of moving lights obscures the keys far too much.
I do realize that when you play a game like Forza Motorsports, or even create a Word document, you don’t look at the keys, however even a glance at the key lighting is distracting to me. For a “W-A-S-D” type player, there is no tactile way to align your fingers; another design flaw especially with the aforementioned lighting problems.
The keyboard functional operation while playing games was adequate. I did love the Fn + second key functionality, this design feature was very well done.
The build quality is excellent and the operation of the keyboard is solid. However, I can’t recommend this keyboard since a part of its function i.e. the ‘light effects’ is not designed properly in my opinion – may be just my eyes, so test before you buy.
