This is my 4th Roku box since they came out about 10 years ago, they just keep getting better. All my TVs are smart TVs but I still use a Roku box on all of them due to the amount of content available and the Roku operating system is lightning fast. I chose this one because it has an Ethernet connection, but the Wi_Fi is also top notch and very reliable.

Easy set up and easy to use and explain to the family. This is the second Roku player I bought- (for a different place in the house) My four year old model is still working great. I do wish they would build in the memory chip rather than having you add a micro SD to save all of your channels. Re-loading the channels really doesn't take too long though.

So far It is working fantastically and I am very happy with it, haven't used the ear plugs yet but, judging by the results on the unit, I will have to assume that they will be as good. Can't believe how many channels are available, both already loaded and to be had on the channel store, so glad I kicked Directv to the curb and went antenna and Roku.

The Roku is much easier to use than Fire. Finally, got it in 4k

I had to exchange mine because the remote got un-paired the first time and couldn't pait it back. The second unit got un-paired as well, but was able to pair it again. The UI is really nice compared to the Fire TV, and the remote is easier to manage for my 75-yr old non-techie mom. But the remote getting unpaired is what made me decide to return it, and get/order the new Fire TV instead.

Very fast and easy to use great streaming product good deal

Basically it's simple. This is a great way to watch programs if you have wi fi, PERIOD! I bought this for my grandson because there is no cable in his room. I bought another for my bedroom and will hook up a digital antenna to get local stations. This way, I can eliminate $7.95 a month off my cable bill. Pays for itself in little time.

I can honestly say this the best Roku Premiere + I've ever purchased. Seriously, it was time to cut the cable. After much debate between purchasing Apple vs. Roku. We bought the new Roku Premiere+ and have thoroughly enjoyed it. No more cable box, HD picture and sound. Topped off with tons of channels to fill the cable void. Freedom!

Bought this to replace the slow and buggy smart tv option on my Samsung tv. Works excellent. Sooooo much faster and smoother in operation than the Samsung smart tv option. The Ethernet port is also tremendous as I've had buffering issues with streaming stick but almost non existent with the wired connection. You won't be disappointed

Comparing it to roku3 and with the price I paid for it during black friday this one is a lot faster and more stable. The roku3 that I had previously is randomly rebooting at least once a week since I bought it but I haven't experienced it with this model. I only had this for a week so we'll see if it continues its stable performance.

Had this working 20 minutes after opening the box. Netflix & Amazon accounts came up right away. Plex & Fandango took a little longer. Makes the 1080 tv in the bedroom work as well as the smart tv in the living room. Wireless found my router immediately and logged in with DHCP. Only con is I can't figure out how to set a static address (one star). Streaming performance and menu navigation excellent, no delays. Great 1080 picture. Haven't tested 4K.

A long time ago we used to have a Roku device that we used constantly to stream content from Netflix and Amazon. Then along cane the Apple TV and we liked it how it was integrated with all of the other Apple devices we own. The old Roku ended up at the Goodwill Store. But this new Roku is awesome, with 4K and HDR capabilities.
