Works great and simple to use. Remote is excellant

This is my third Roku. While I'm not happy that my older ones have ceased to receive updates, this new one works great and is super fast. Fires up streams quicker than my Amazon Fire Stick. The only reason I bought it, was because my Fire Stick will not do HBO Go or SHO Anytime with Charter Spectrum cable. The Roku will.

I got this to replace my streaming stick, which was in a somewhat dead WiFi zone. The premier can be hooked up with an Ethernet cable, but it also has a stronger and faster processer. So far it has coped with my unstable WiFi signal, so I haven't needed to hard wire it. But I'm happy to have the option. Terrific product.

This Roku can start playing the show faster than you can read the synopsis. Besides speed, my two favorite features are sound leveling (keeps explosions and what not from being super loud, good for watching late when others are sleeping) and it's ability to cast the audio back to your phone instead of tv speakers.

I have enjoyed using Roku products for several years with this being my latest one to go with my new 4K TV. I mainly use the Roku for Netflix, Amazon, and Sling, but there are thousands of other channels to watch. Who needs cable when you have a Roku? And, you can't beat the Best Buy Black Friday price of $49.99.

I really like the primere+, it loads content super fast and is compatible with my universal remote control (not so with my roku streaming stick) I was not to sure about the headphone jack in the remote, I'm thinking to myself... ill never use that! But i have and its great when I don't want to disturb my family.

This is my third Roku device. I like the menu format and the simplicity of the remote. It pulls a signal from WiFi through walls no problem. The headphone jack on the remote is a brilliant addition that I use regularly. Even though my new tv is “smart” I stream through Roku because of the headphone option.

This is my 1st ROKU. I have an Apple TV and a FireStick. The ROKU seems to be the most user friendly. Downloading the apps and going between them is very seamless. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a streaming player. The Apple TV is great, but I think the ROKU is more user intuitive.

I’ve been on Apple TV for years but wanted 4K HDR to take advantage of my 7000 series Samsung 55”. I didn’t know what I was missing. This device is easy to set up and picture is awesome. User interface is well designed. Picked this $99 item up just days before Black Friday for $49. Worth the asking price.

1) The product is very nice. There are some features which my old Apple TV (a generation older than the current one) does not have: such as Roku's own Puto TV, where I could watch many free live TVs and also I could add many channels from ROKU's lists or from my searched ones. 2) But it could not be used on my Samsung TV (model # UN32J5003BF). Each time it worked for only 5 to 10 minutes and then the TV screen became black. If I turned the power off and on immediately, it only displayed jumping ROKU animations and then black screen again. After around half an hour waiting and powered it on, it started to work again but died again in 5 to 10 minutes. I figured this out by using other TVs of mine: LG and AOC TVs are ok. If you have only Samsung TV like mine, better buy another TV before buying the ROKU Premiere+. 3) The other thing is there are two numbers: 450,000+ (on the outer package box) and 350,000+ (on the inner box) movies and TV. Which one is correct? 4) Bestbuy's return policy is very nice. When I mentioned my experience with this ROKU premiere+ (see item 2 above) to their service people, immediately I got a new replacement.

Perfect little streaming box. I purchased an Apple TV 4K and this a few weeks later. I returned the Apple TV. The Roku does better 4K on Youtube and since I'm not totally invested in the Apple Ecosystem it was a no brainer for the cost.

Having purchased a 4K TV last Christmas season, we needed a way to capture 4K signals for our TV. Set up of this Roku was easy and it detected the UHD aspect as well. I'd suggest using YouTube if you want to "demo" your 4K TV to friends who stop by. Roku streams the pictures with incredible clarity (YouTube has several 4K streaming nature shows). Most networks are still in either 720 or 1080p, but they still look good. We cut the cable and this device helped to make that possible. With our Spectrum, Playstation VUE, HBO, and CBS apps, we were able to cut our cable by 2/3rds. That's two-thirds! We went from $250 per month to $80 for 300 mbs. Time to cut the cable and get Roku.

It was on sale for 1/2 price. Awesome! This is my first ROKU device. I love it! So many choices. Huge selection of streaming movies and music. I got it so I could stream MoviesAnywhere via the tele but the added apps for VUDU, GooglePlay, AmazonVideo, FandangoNow and SiriusXMradio. I am in streaming heaven. Easy to set and ready to usewithin minutes. I should have gotten one of these a long time ago.

I have a Roku premiere + for living room and love the performance and speed for streaming. I bought this one on sell at Best Buy at great price for $50.00 to replace my old Roku stick in my bedroom which was slow to load and stream. This unit did the trick and I am very happy with my purchase.

Easy to hook up and connect to tv/Internet. Picture is great quality. User friendly

I was a bit weary of cutting the cable cord but after using Roku on one of my TVs it was a no brainer. I called my cable company and canceled right away. Roku is easy to use, has everything I need, integrates with my smartphone and sets up in seconds. I should have bought this years ago.

The Roku Premiere is so much quicker and more reliable than the older Roku we had. It does not drop signals even though our WiFi signal is not very strong in the location of our home in which we use it. We bought it right before Thanksgiving and got a great price at Best Buy to boot.

I purchased two of these devices for streaming to my non-smart TV's. I really like the headphone jack in the remote and the consistency with other TVs I have with built=in Roku devices. the only downside I see is the signal strength at 1080p. I have longer HDMI runs, but get no signal degradation with other devices at 1080p. With the Roku, I get pixel issues at 1080p. 720p works fine.
