This is a great electronic item to have which helps save money and connect you to the best shows. I really enjoy this items . Money well invested I purchase 2 of these streaming players. I have not learn how to do the music waiting for my kids to come home for the holidays

Set up was easy. Make sure you set up a Roku account first on line before you setup the actual unit. Much easier that way. The Roku unit is easy to use and the remote is really designed well. I used to stream on line material with a PC hooked up to my TV. This is so much easier. Don' know why I didn't do this before.

I purchase 2 Roku’s for my adult children who believe this was the best item for their families. Grandkids can watch movies with parents and this Roku was 50 percent off. I got my money worth

I am an unabashed fan of ROKU - I've owned several of them and have given them as gifts. It's the best device of its kind that I have ever used, much, much better than the terrible Amazon Fire Stick [and not as limited as Apple TV]. This particular model, the Premiere +, is as good as any I've used. One thing I must note, and it might not be an issue to most people, is that they removed the USB port - this was a handy feature on my ROKU 3, which could be used to play video and music files with the Media Player channel. Still, the Premiere + model retains the Micro SD slot which can perform the same function [I just happen to have a lot more USB sticks than Micro SD cards].

I am not a technical person but this was so easy to use. Easy directions. I was up and runnng in less than five minutes. The best part is I was able to cut the cord with Cox for my TV viewing.

I purchased this because my name brand Blu-Ray (new) player would stop playing You Tube videos because of 'file size'. After getting tired of this, I bought the Roku and I have been VERY pleased with the speed and performance! Videos start instantly and I've had no issues at all. One thing to note, this unit doesn't turn off or have an off button...it just goes into screen saver mode until you need to use it again. I would prefer a power button but it does work well.

I like it lots of free apps works great easy to set up. What sucks is u have to go in to every app u want and make accounts for that takes for ever. But after u get all that done it's great..

We switched from cable. The Roku sometimes freezes. Many free apps, but a ton to purchase. We’ve had it 3 months and still feel like we’re fishing for where to find the shows we like. I wish the Roku could meld all the apps into 1 menu so we could see all the shows rather than going out of each app and searching another and another. We put Hulu, Sling, and Amazon On the Roku plus a large number of other offered apps. We find it takes a lot of time to go between apps in the streaming device searching for the shows we want. We also found that it takes a lot of thinking through what we wanted to add to the device. So while we’ve saved half our cost monthly, we’re not fully yet comfortable with how it all works. (Yes, I’m techie but not all in our family are.) Tip: Take a look at what shows and networks you watch and make a list before switching so it’s easier to remember when you’re choosing providers and add-on apps.

It is saving us money, we are able to stream channels and movies rather than pay our cable company a monthly fee for having a box on each and every TV. It's worth the initial investment!!

I bought this to replace my old Roku box. The new one is a lot faster, much more reliable, and has better functionality than my previous one. Worth the purchase, especially fur only $50.

Price is right but no USB port to attach external devices like usb external media.. also the battery drains very quickly when you attach a headphone, which i do very often.. but all in all top-notch.. youtube comes up very quickly which it never did on my roku plus

Put this Roku on an older LG TV with no 'smarts'. Streams Netflix and Fandango without lag on a 20Mb internet feed from a 2.4/5Gb wireless router. I also use Plex on my local net without issue. Set up was relatively easy. Only con is no back light on the remote.

I like the Roku functionality. This this is my second Roku purchase. I selected this model because of the headphone jack in the remote. This is really nice to be able to stay up at night and watch Netflix and not have the sound bother those that have gone to bed.

I used to stream from my Xbox or PlayStation which is slightly inconvenient or from my Apple TV which I like except I can't play all the channels I use from. Unfortunately since Apple TV can't play Amazon Prime I hardly ever use it. I love the Roku because it is simple, fast, streamlines a your channels and plays all the channels I use. It's nice to have everything in one place. The remote is also great and I love the private listening option.

I bought this to use the Charter Cable TV app in my bed room. By using the Roku and the Charter app it saves me from having to pay monthly cable box rental fees to Charter. I will recommend this to anyone else looking to save money on cable box rental fees and has Charter Cable. The Roku Premiere+ is also lighting fast, very easy to set, and very user friendly!

I had been using a Roku3 for several years now and other than Youtube it had no issues, I purchased a new one to renew. This Roku premier+ is better than Roku3. Happy with purchase.

When I bought this Roku device I had never owned any form of streaming device. I bought it to hopefully cut the cord to start streaming vs using a satellite provider. After I unboxed and set up and a few days in I was cutting the cord to my satellite provider. I've been without satellite for several months now and have not looked back. This unit delivers crisp clear HD quality picture with a fast processor and its 4K capable.

Overall, the Roku Premiere is a good product. We got this to replace Chromecast since having a million different apps for different channels on a phone/tablet was getting a bit annoying. The Roku takes the place of all the phone/tablet apps and allows us to stream our TV content. The only negative is that some channels, such as AMC, that allow you to stream through Chromecast with your cable provider will not allow you to stream through the Roku. A nice feature is the integrated headphone jack in the remote control so you can watch a program without bothering anyone who may be sleeping, studying, etc.

We bought this Roku and seriously love it! It is so fast and offers so much on it even a lot for free! We were so impressed with this Roku that we purchased another one for a gift!

Use this for cord cutting in my house, and run the typical Netflix and Amazon, as well a TabloTV (over the air DVR) apps on it. This Roku has the point anywhere remote, which is awesome, can use it under the covers :) and it still works. I wouldn't get any of the lower level Roku's for this reason. I had a Roku built into my TV, took that back because it was so slow. This is super fast, quick response to buttons. Highly recommend this version.
