I purchased this during black Friday. I will say the quality of the image is really good. Set up is very easy. Took me 5 minutes to unbox and set up. The reason for the 3 star review is the inconsistancy of the device. I purchased this instead of a Roku stick because of its stated better performance compared to the stick but overall its not much better. Still had issues with it freezing, it auto rebooting, and lag trying to move around in the OS. Disappointed in the overall performance of the device.

This is our third Roku and it is great. We had the Roku 2 and 3 and now we love the speed of the Premiere+.

The Roku Premiere + is a reasonable upgrade from earlier models. The performance seems just a bit more responsive throughout. But unless you need the 4K upgrade this model doesn't feel much different than the Roku 3 series. One note about the new remote. The button layout is simplified, with the separate OK button removed. It takes a little time to get used to the new layout, but I found the new remote quicker to use.

This isn't my first streaming device, nor my first Roku. They work well, which is why I keep coming back.

This roku is a great device especially since it offers 4K HDR support. Make sure to use the HDCP 2.2 cable if you want to use the 4K HDR resolution since your old HDMI cables will downgrade the signal to the 1080p resolution. Additionally, this also has an Ethernet jack which is great for wired high speed connectivity preferred for 4K streaming. It also allows you to download other channels which is a real plus and step up on the old Apple TVs.

Was having trouble streaming with older version of Roku so I tried the newer version. Works much better!

Was having problems with the cheaper version. This one fixed the problem and is doing a good job so far.

I have been using Roku's since they first came out. The Premiere + won't disappoint. I highly recommend.

Easy to set up. Accesses shared storage on my network. Provides availability to lots of streamed media.

It is a great device! It does require the proper HDMI cable (2.2) and a decent speed internet... When we first hooked it up we had Time Warner basic internet and we kept getting a purple screen. Sometimes the shows would come up, but most of the time we ended up with the purple screen. Once we hooked up the proper cable and upgraded our internet speed the Roku works perfectly. We are enjoying all newest options that the Roku offers! LOVE IT!

I purchased my first Roku about 4 years ago. I have bought them as gifts and for my son’s room instead of running cable. He is eight and loves it. Would recommend.
