We got a 50 inch 4k TV for our living room (from Best Buy), and our current 40 inch HDTV (also an old Best Buy purchase) is being relegated to the bedroom. Since our plan is to cut the cord, and our 40 inch is not a smart TV, we needed something to make it "smart." This Roku will work perfectly for that purpose, and I am anxious to put it to use.

Great device!!

It kept forgetting my signons and sometimes had difficulty signing on to Netflix or Hulu. And, the sound bar was very low on all of these channels. The new Roku box is very fast, easy to use and the sound is perfect. I love my Roku.

Great upgrade!

It allows Directvnow and we cut the cord. We had a Roku stick, but it took a few minutes to boot up once we turned on the tv. This one, however, is ready to go immediately! Note: if you had the stick, you’ll need to get used to stopping your channel on the Roku when you turn off the tv. It won’t stop automatically now with a separate plug-in Roku!
