I have being controlled by Control4 home automation system and I can create shortcuts for Netflix, amazon, Hulu, you tube. works well

Everything looks better through a Roku

I have two of them so far, one going to a 4k tv and the other to a 1080. Coming from an Apple TV, on the 1080 TV, comparing apples to apples, netflix and other streaming content looks SO much better than it did through the Apple TV. So the rook to my 4k tv, as you might guess, is even better than that. Great upscaling and great all around.

Much added value over other models

While I haven't used the 4k functionality, it is clear that this model runs more smoothly. The head phones are a nice added bonus for late night private viewing without disturbing the partner.

This roku fits the bill. Not only is the new line of rokus faster, this one makes the colors leap 0ff the tv. The Ultra HD is fantastic when streaming. This product does not disappoint!

Faster than my Roku 4

I'm happy to say that they are getting faster and more reliable as I upgrade. Not only does this one send 4k content to my Vizio 4k set beautifully, but booting and channel loading is noticeably faster than my old Roku devices.

Best Roku Media Server

The advantage is 4K with Ethernet port and ability to listen via headphones on the remote.
