Roku player works well with the Netflix, Sling TV, Directtvnow as i have them for now. Before i start cancelling some of these streaming services...this Roku player 's remote works well and is convenient to use. The picture quality on the tv is excellent.

4K streaming for $50? I have Apple TV, chromecast, and FireTV devices. This one doesn’t seem as polished, but works reasonably well.

This item is exactly what I was looking for. It is a great device for making a non-smart tv much smarter. My favorite feature of it is the ability to download Spectrum on the device, and you can stream Cable TV in a room that you wouldn't of had Cable TV. You save the price of a box from Spectrum which is about 7 per month, and the device will pay for itself after about a year.

I purchased this to replace my problematic ROKU4 and I am so happy I did. The 4K content looks so much better now with the HDR built in. My standard HD channels also saw a bump in picture quality. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a streaming box.

When I made the choice to cut the cord there was so many options to choose from so I'd tell anyone trying to make the switch definitely take advantage of the free trials and this came super easy for me with the Roku premier +. I trailed vue and also sling and settled on vue with an hd antenna. In my house we watch lots of European soccer football basketball and some baseball and hockey and the roku made it very easy to watch these things with the vue because of the network "channels" (apps) that are downloadable on the roku like fox sports go nbcsn sports app. In all the channels I use on this are Netflix YouTube PlayStation Vue NBCSN Sports and Fox Sports Go the roku never let me down but that's probably due to the fact that I had it hooked up through Ethernet cable but for sure this is very reliable never lagged. Definitely thinking about getting a stick for the bedroom

We choose this roku for hulu live streaming. It seems to work well for that purpose but I wish it could also connect with itunes.

We've been using our Roku for a few weeks now, and we wish we'd switched a long time ago. Switching from cable TV to Roku will save us thousands of dollars a year, and we pick what's worth paying for, what's worth watching a few commercials for, and what we don't even bother with. The user interface is easy, the hardware sets up easily, and we are very happy with all of it!

Roku is an excellent platform for streaming video and includes many popular streaming programs like Netflix Hulu Vudu Amazon, this particular model has the ability that will allow you to plug a head into the remote for individual listening while watching
