Doesn't work well with surround sound

It doesn't play sound out of the rear speakers, and there is an intermittent flash of light that flickers on the screen every 10 seconds or so. This is great for a regular tv without surround sound, and has a snappy interface. Only gave it 3 stars due to its incompatibility with surround sound.

Awesome Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved our ROKU streaming stick, and the upgrade to the ROKU Premier+ is awesome! The 4K quality on our 4K TVs is incredible. The device itself is small and isn't an eye-sore. I have used all types of streaming devices from google to amazon and blu-ray players. The ROKU Premier+ is by far the fastest streaming device I have ever owned.

Excellent streaming

Much better than using the Xbox or PlayStation consoles. Great for sports fans with apps such as Fox Sports, WatchESPN, NHL, MLB and NBA packages, and NBC sports.

Great functionality, poor remote

The only problem we have is the remote. For some reason it seems to disconnect itself from the box periodically. We just end up taking out the batteries and putting them back in the remote and it works fine again. Started about a month after we bought it. It is a nuisance, but it works...shouldn't have to deal with that though.

Best value for the price

In my opinion is a better value for your money than the ultra as it offers most of the same features with the exception of voice search and the ability to power other devices on and off. To me that is not a deal breaker and certainly not worth paying 2x as much for.

Easy set up & I love the headphones w/the remote

Took about five minutes for it to update and I was watching my shows. It was easy to navigate and add new channels. But I especially love the headphone jack on the remote!
