Easier to get to different sites than Fire stick. Faster also. Still with occasional glitch.

Easily finds streaming channels and allows for easy access to view movies, tv shows from them. Has a search function to locate movies and will show you which apps are streaming that show. Can't really explain much on the 4k as I haven't watched anything. Also every once and a while there is an audio popping but not sure if Roku or TV. I can quit the movie, go back and it's gone so I'm sure it's a slight roku issue.

I have always been happy with the Roku Devices in the past (Had a Roku 2 and 3) but my Roku 2 had been having streaming issues. So I decided to upgrade it to the new Roku 4K, after going through the many options available I went with the one that has the Ethernet connection in it (because I figure streaming 4K wirelessly would have its issues)...but was I wrong, the 4K device works wonders wirelessly... didn't have one streaming issue when streaming a movie off Netflix in 4K. This device is built solidly and would recommend it if you are looking for a 4K streaming Roku device. Remember there are 3 models to choose from, just compare features of what you need and don't need, that's how I chose mine.

I was undecided to tet the Roku, but so far works great and is a lot cheaper than antenna tv.

This is the second Roku I have owned. My first was the old XD model, which was getting rather long in the tooth. Got the Premiere+ during Black Friday 2017 & very happy with the updated version. Like I said in the summary, I feel Roku is the best reasonably priced streamer - and it works great with Plex.

We’re thinking about dropping the satellite service. Decided to purchase the device when It was advertised in the pre-Black Friday ad. It’s SOOOOO much better than having to hook up a computer to the tv to view streaming media. Now that we have the ROKU boxes, we’re seriously considering PlayStation Vue.

I have been a Roku fan since the first model. Decided to upgrade and I am very happy I did.

Generally a very good streamer but Roku has some problems with the firmware with various bugs. Still haven't been able to get HDR working on the box although non-HDR 4K is excellent. Like all Roku's the user interface is a bit dated and clunky although it is very fast on this box.

Easily turn any TV into a Roku TV, slower than the bigger products but great none the less

We have been very pleased with our Roku. Hoping to cut the cord sometime in the future. We were amazed at all the content available for free. Love exploring all that Roku has to offer. Have not tried any of the Free Trial offers yet like Hulu, Sling etc. Happy with the sale price we got on this too!

I really like the options available with the Roku products, especially the premiere + or higher. The Bluetooth remote let me mount the box behind the TV out of sight for a much cleaner look. The + is much faster and doesn't go through the buffering time of lower models, for a more enjoyable experience.

Now have one attached to every TV in the house. This was a great bargain at 50% off original price. The Premiere Plus has an ethernet connection which the regular Premiere lacks. This is essential in our house, especially for streaming at high bandwidth. Have always been pleased with the Roku brand.

Purchased this product to migrate to streaming service from cable. All around good product, only real complaint is it is not clear what "app" you are selecting on the interface (i.e., no highlights around app image). Haven't checked for a fix, but worth mentioning. Have had connectivity issues with wireless router even though signal is 100%; moving to an AC router to see if that will alleviate the problem.

Bought a new smart 4k tv and set it up at opposite end of the house from the transmitter. Wireless apps kept losing signal. Bought this Roku and it has the same apps as TV, but reception is much better and doesn't cut out. Not why I bought it but it resolved the wireless signal issue. No need to buy that extender I was thinking about! Navigation is the only reason for a 4. Not the friendliest interface.

I love the new roku line, I was debating between the ultra and this one I noticed the difference between both was small the only thing this one didn't have was a "locate remote" feature, so I went with this one. I LOVE IT! It works super fast and the channels are awesome!

Very good product. Very easy setup you needs 4K supported HDMI cable to watch 4K video.

We have 2 Roku media players and the whole family is able to watch their favorite shows when ever they like. It is easy to hook up and is very affordable. We love our Roku media players!

Easy setup, easy to add channels aka content streaming apps. I bought this for my 76 year old mom and she loves it. An external device to make any tv smart. This is better than paying more for a smart tv because eventually manufacturers stop supporting their hybrid software and apps making your tv obsolete. Roku boxes will keep being updated until app technology as a whole may evokce. But then you can replace a more cost effective device (the Roku) versus a whole new tv. Personally I would even avoid tv's with Roku software built in as its usually still a partnership between Roku & whatever manufacturer and the manufacturer is the one who ends support for their product line.

I currently own everything Apple so my plan was to buy the Apple TV. This Roku was on sale so I decided to give it a shot. I absolutely love it. It is better than I expected it to be. The only flaw is that it has no web browser. My parents already bought two Rokus after seeing how mine worked.

The Roku Ultra is out so this one is getting discounted and is a great deal for around $50. The only thing it lacks vs the ultra is a remote finder, voice searches, a USB port for viewing your own content on USB drive, and game controls on the remote; all of which doesn't matter much for me.
