i bought this for my LG OLED 55 HDR/4K tv and i w3as amazed. will recommend to all.

Easy setup. Very intuitive and performance is much better than the streaming stick.

Bought for Orange Beach, AL property. All smooth until HULU decided my wife could not use HULU in Maine as the HULU account was established by me in Maine and went to AL with me (even though I wanted it to stay in Maine) for the six weeks I was in AL. I cancelled HULU and will not go back.

Many are cutting the cord. I was looking for a replacement for my cable and Tivo boxes. This was my choice. I also have Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu live. Hulu live allows me to watch local live and cable channels. Roku also supports other live services like Youtube and Direct TV live.

I have two other Roku devices; the streaming stick and Roku 1. Roku Premier Plus is far better than either of those predecessors. Not only are the streaming capabilities clearer and stronger, but the application on the screen is much more user friendly and intuitive. I highly recommend.

1. Make sure you have a high speed internet at your location. 2. create an online Roku account. 3. Setup your Roku device. 4. Use the apps to watch different channel providers. 5. You can listen to tv channel apps using earphones and connect it to the Roku controller that is included.

This little box is quite powerful. Is allows streaming of various channels from many different apps and the stream packages from all of the major players (Sling, Sony, etc.). The Ethernet port is great for those of us who prefer a hard line connection over wireless. Top notch product!

This Roku Premier + streaming device performs excellent. Easy setup and simple to use. Provides access to many varied shows and music. My first step to eliminating expensive cable TV.

Purchased this device about 6 weeks ago. Chose Roku over Apple TV because of the huge selection of streaming channels. Setup and installation was easy. Have it installed on Samsung smart tv. Overall have been pleased with this device. I like the one button access to Sling TV in the remote. Also has same feature for access to Netflix and Hulu. Another nice feature is headphone listening through the remote or a iPhone with an app. Great for watching tv while someone is napping in the same room. However, have several instances of picture freezing and distortions. Tried restarting the device and resetting wifi connections. Sometimes that will restore the picture quality. This has been frustrating and I have not determined the cause.

I purchased this to watch Directv Now because my Roku was not able to. I am glad I bought it. The interface is wonderful and loading material is fast. The picture quality is excellent.

I was using a blueray player to stream Netflix, and was having all kinds of issues with it stalling and buffering. The store employee recommended I use this item instead, and it works flawlessly. I'm thrilled that I can watch a Netflix movie without getting aggravated even once.

Replaced the Spectrum Cable Box. Have already replaced the DTA boxes with Roku Stick, but needed more powerful for the primary TV. Can tell the difference, much faster response. Extra buffering takes care of lagging. Couldn't justify the full price, but got this on sale for $49.

I like that I can move it around to any television and even travels with me. I can connect headphones to this version and not disturb other people. The battery does drain faster when using the headphones so rechargeable batteries are recommended.

Very user friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking for additional option.

I also have an older version of the roku. This one is so much better. The remote control responds anywhere which is such an improvement. You don't have to point it at the roku.

I like Roku, I have TV cable but just one cable box. With Roku I can add all the apps of the channels and have basically cable on another TV with out paying the extra fee for another cable box. Also it offers tons of other apps with free movies and tv shows, I really like it.
