This has better streaming quality. Wish it still had a smaller form factor.

Got a new Vizio UHD TV with built-in apps that are very limited. Only Netflix, Amazon and few others that are YAHOO based. After a month I decided I love the UHD TV and 5.1 sound bar with speakers but hate the limited functionality of the apps so I went to get another Roku. New models gave me many options and I picked the Premiere Plus since my TV does not have High Dynamic Range. All the usual Roku features plus it upscales non-UHD channels to a better picture quality. Now I can use my SHOWTIME (2 months free with purchase) and HBO apps plus other Roku apps like the TWC (Spectrum) app since I have moved my 3 other Roku to other locations.

This is an amazing piece of tech. Now that its 4k its even better puts every app under the stars in one easy place. The operating system is super smooth and easy to use and set up.

Solid performance and good uhd/hdr quality. Roku apps are becoming very outdated though. They need to force the app companies to make theirs equal to the top end. Hulu, PSVue, and HBO Now are the first ones that come to mind that need upgraded UIs.

Got the Ruko device for a TV that is not a smart TV so I can use the Spectrum App and no long need the digital converter at $5.99 a month. It was an easy setup but you will need to make a Ruko account and log in to enter your Ruko code. I got this working in 2 minutes flat.

Easy to use. Has lots of networks to watch on. Love the headphone feature.

Unless you are buying a top of the line 4K HDR TV, you'll be dealing with a screen that might have a decent upscaler. This media box is amazing at upscaling. I had no idea what my TV was really capapble of using the built in apps, but now after using this box I really know now. Roku's OS is really easy to learn and use. The only drawback you might find is that the included remote is RF, which for most is great but if you are like me and like to use a universal remote it could be an issue. But lucky for me I already had a Sideclick remote from my previous Roku, the Roku Stick, I was able to just move the sideclick over to the new remote.

Great unit. Works great, does what I was looking for and more. Purchased it so that I can use it for my Xfinity Stream service, and it does work. Xfinity has a beta version of the app, which works great on the Roku box. This does require an HDMI cavle to plug into the TV.

I'm very glad that I got the Premiere Roku device for my sister-in-law. It was on sale and the device is much more than I imagined, compared to my basic Roku device.

I own several Roku players and they keep getting better. I needed an additional player for my bedroom TV and I'm glad I got this version. The performance is smooth in the UI, and it does not have any trouble streaming/navigating HD content. I look forward to when I can afford a 4KUltra TV and I'm glad that it will support that content. The remote also seems sturdier than the earlier versions, and I was surprised that the volume controls work on my television not just the headset that plugs into the remote.

liked the 4k. liked the price. liked how it works and the interface. did not like that i could not use it to connect to the dish network app wish it could screen cast like an apple tv

I love our Roku its so easy to use and allowed us to get rid of cable.

This is my 3rd roku purchase and it's the best one yet. I got it for my mom and she loves how fast it streams but what she loves even more is the simplicity of it all.

I like the Roku. I like that it has a place to plug in a headset on the renite and I enjoy the new center button. The thing I don't like is inherent to Roku - the remote is too small. As an older person I'm not as adept with remotes and the size is small - it's slick and difficult for me to hold. Things need to be bigger or an option to get a bigger controller.

Certainly an iterative improvement from the Roku 3, but the headphone jack and lightning fast interface is very much appreciated coming from an older 2XS or LT.

This is my second Roku. My original was the streaming stick. It only connects with WiFi. The Premier+ hardwires into my network. Fast!! Reliable. Intuitive interface.

This Roku model is good for the price - especially when it was purchased at 50% discount! The user interface is not that great in comparison to the Apple TV UI. The best feature perhaps is the earbuds that are attached to the remote.

I've been a fan of Roku for quite awhile. Just upgraded to Premier + and was not disappointed. Faster speed, easy to connect and still one of the best for streaming

After I cancelled my cable tv, I bought Roku Premier+, so i could sign up with Sling Tv. It works great and I think it is the best streaming device I've ever had.
