Had an older model Roku which was great for most streaming, but would halt or freeze quite often. Suspected cause was the processor or chip of old unit not being up to the task, believe that my cable tv company app was doing or sending a lot of data back to them for analysis. This unit solved the instances of screen freezes and allowed faster channel changes within the cable app itself. Believe that this model has been discontinued or replaced by the Ultra model which features voice control of remote.

I wish I new about this when it came out. I now just have internet in my house and no cable. Saving a bunch of money. So easy to set up too. And the ear buds are great for bed when your significant other is sleeping!

I was having problems viewing Netflix using my blu-ray player. Netflix video would freeze up every few minutes. Turns out the Netflix app on the player was too old. I bought the Roku and now everything works great.

Not as great as the Apple TV but about half the cost so I got two. It’s best to get the mini SD card for easier streaming.

I love the Roku! it is extremely fast and has excellent picture quality. I love the platform better than other devices I have tired.

This device is way faster an older Roku LT, and provides 4K and HDR content. It works well and offers more than others, cf Apple Tv

bought this as a xmas present. have one my self love the simple set up and you can watch anything. free or a small fee. gets all the channels. know need for cable or a small fee to which one you want easy set up

The Roku Premiere+ is easy to use and connect to. It works seamlessly. I would definitely recommend the Roku premiere+.

Love this device. The remote is superior to the counterpart for my Apple TV and the layout of the controls and apps is intuitive.

I love my Roku's. I mounted a new 43" 4K TV in my exercise (spare bed) room, so of course I had to add a new Roku. Now I have no excuse for not using the treadmill...or sitting on my butt on the recumbent bike.

I have had several versions of roku, but this one is the best in terms of speed and picture quality. Would definitely recommend.

I chose the Premiere + version thinking I would want to be able to have a hard wired connection for best results.....turns out the WIFI works perfectly and there is no need to run the cable. Works flawlessly, only negative is that many of the 'free movies' touted to be available on Amazon 'Prime' are the 'wholesome' sugary family things, and many of the older classics I assumed would be available for free after paying $99 for Amazon 'Prime' still require rental fees!! I like Amazon Prime for the purchase and shipment of merchandise, but don't expect much from the promise of lots of 'free movie' access. Of course, this has nothing to do with the ROKU....their product is excellent!

This is my third Roku, and by far favorite. It has a faster response time than my Roku 3, and the Roku 3 was already amazing. The 4K is a big boost as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my Roku Premier + was recognized by name by my Samsung UN65KS8000, and could be controlled by the Samsung remote. No complaints at all, and can't wait to see how Roku's next device stacks up against this.

We've been considering Sling for a while and with this being half off for Black Friday couldn't resist getting it. Comes with free month of Sling and streams in 4K where available. Looks great on our 4K TV.

These things are great. I now have 3 of the Roku Premier+ players in my house - streaming TV service from Playstation Vue - the quality is fantastic. All 3 of them are hardwired into an ethernet port but every once in a while I move one to a TV on my back patio and it picks up the wifi signal perfectly. I haven't had any issues with buffering or picture quality. Bonus - I love the headphones that connect to the remote. Great for watching TV in bed without waking everyone else in the house.

Great product for those who want to get rid of your local cable provider. It has many opportunities for you to buy programing how you want to view and buy. I like the remote you don't have to point it directly at the unit. You have the option with this version you listen from your remote ( great for late television or when your spouse is sleeping) this unit has an internal sd card but its not for the storage of shows its for storing additional channels. I would highly recommend this unit.

I was hesitant to switch from cable tv to roku, but man was I wrong. It has provided me with a savings of $100.00 per month. You get a lot of the same channels at a fraction of the cost. Highly recommended.

Have a Roku 4 and it works great but the Premier + is smaller, faster, and runs cooler. The picture quality is outstanding!

I bought this Roku to upgrade from my Roku 2. Super easy format to use and the remote headphone jack sealed the deal.

I bought this a Christmas gift for my girlfriend because she was wanting something that would allow her to play videos from her Mac on her TV. If it works as advertised, it will be well worth the purchase.
