This is an amazing way to make any Tv work like a smart TV. There are a lot of streaming apps that you can use with this for free.

Glad I updated to the newer version. Faster, easier to navigate.

my car payment is $180 and my cable bundle was $220. now i am just paying $55 because i canceled my cable and just have internet.

Works great for streaming 4K content. Have had Apple TV as well and prefer the Roku. So good, I bought 3 for the other TVs in home

I love it. Only problem you have no customer support. No phone number to call when you have questions. Also, they change formats on screen and you’re left to guess. But it’s still a great system.

I am giving this as a Christmas gift, so I haven’t used it. I have read reviews and expect it to be just what my daughter wants.

Love Roku!! Premiere Plus is a good system for the money we also own a Roku Ultra and like the controller better on on the ultra . Roku is easy to set up and would highly recommend purchasing !

I love this player. I also have a streaming stick and purchased for a second television as we are dropping cable. This player has great picture and sound. I purchased almost exclusively for the ethernet connection since my wifi is spotty in the room. I also like the private listening which my wife also appreciates. The amount of free content is great.

This Roku Premiere was exactly what we were looking for! It turned a "dumb" TV into a Smart TV and we couldn't be more pleased!

I'm pleasantly surprised with the overall quality of this device. I found the installation to be remarkably easy: a. connecting the device to my home network via 5 gHz wi-fi; and b, connecting the device to a 1080p TV via an ordinary HDMI cable. Usually, the audio is more than ample; and video quality is terrific. (The only criticism of any kind I have is that the picture can be over-saturated). I bought the device with the intention of trying the new YouTube TV service. As of this writing, however, YouTube TV remains unavailable (although reports in credible media say it's coming by April). The YouTube app works especially well. As for live cable TV, I've found that Sling TV can be very good. There is, overall, a giant selection of free and for-pay apps. One oddity with this device is that you cannot turn it off (other than manually unplugging it; and the small LED light at the front of the device will turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity). Roku says the device must stay on for occasional self-updating. I've found no problems with this, in terms of unnecessary wear on the machine; a higher electric bill; etc.

I pulled the plug on expensive cable TV and bought the Roku Premier Plus at Best Buy. I researched many options online for my TV viewing, and decided this was the best for me. The product was super easy to install; all I needed was my Wi-Fi password, and it was set up. I have now used it over a month, with not a single issue. It worked for me!!

I have a Sony smart TV that stopped being smart. Streaming Amazon and Netflix, the picture and sound would stutter. After deciding that the TV was the problem, I bought the Roku to stream through that. The stutter is gone and the picture and audio is great. I went with the Premier unit as I am able to wire it directly to my network.

We love this Roku! We canceled our $100/month cable and subscribed to a streaming cable service that we watch using the Roku.

I am a Roku fan but I really appreciate the speed and fast loading of this series. If you happen to catch it on sale get it.

Finally, I cut the cable cord and signed up with PlayStation Vue. The Roku is an excellent piece of gear and I could not be happier. The remote has a great headphone jack that allows me to listen to what I am watching while my family sits nearby and reads. I fully appreciate now why Consumer Reports rates this as the top streaming device.

I've had Rokus ever since they first came out. We have 3 TVs and a different Roku on each TV. Bought this 4K Roku for our new 4K HDR TV. I like that the remote is more like the older remotes than the remote for the Roku 3 (the button layout was slightly different on the Roku 3 remote). Very happy with this purchase. I love the 4K screensaver!

This has been a great addition to our TV experience. It has provided my family with the additional content that they wanted.
