This was last years unit which doesn't have TV controls on the remote which would have made it 5 stars. Great picture, great wifi reception, no picture stuttering or buffering even at 4k.

Got for a gift and was an awesome deal! Setup is easy and many free apps to choose. Should have gotten this a long time ago

I have been using the Roku for a while now and it works pretty well. Very fast, with almost no delay with remote action (which for me is an issue with the TVs installed software - or maybe I need to buy better TVs). Haven't really used the headset on the remote. This works pretty well and has a ton of apps/channels to use

Upgraded from a roku 3 which keeps freezing or loading slow. This one loads quick. And beautiful visual and sound quality.

I prefer the Roku over a Fire TV mainly because I am not dependent upon an app working for Amazon or due to Amazon not offering an app since it conflicts with what they sell (i.e. Vudu).

Use this every day and enjoy how easy to use it is and how most updates allow for minor errors. While not all apps are Roku friendly, the services that have been around, are usually accessible versus ones that are just released or not yet released as of 2020.

Replaced a Roku stick that seemed to have some problems when streaming Sling channels. Very little buffering now, that may not be caused by the Roku device. Pleased with the purchase.

This model of the Roku has all the features I wanted without paying extra ones I didn't need. It has 4K HDR, even on YouTube, which most of the others do not support, including ones that are built into TVs. A well designed remote that also allows for private headphone listening is a nice little bonus that this model also has.

Replaced a years earlier model. This reads the wifi signal much better, has the SW allowing to shift between profiles.

I have an Amazon Fire TV, and it had too many limitations because of Amazon. The Roku Premiere + beats it hands down as far as the things you can do with it. I'm very happy with my purchase. Excellent picture, and sound. I recommend it to anyone for watching movies. I haven't used it for games, or music, so can't comment on that.

I use this thing every day. My biggest reason for not giving it 5 stars is because the search functions should have a faster way of typing info. Other than that its pretty flawless

I am getting rid of cable connection for TV now. If a show is available through the internet, you can get it on Roku.

I already had a roku 4, but wanted to test out the hdr streaming feature the premier plus had so I purchased the unit and when I hooked it up to my tv I saw a distinct difference. My roommate thought I had adjusted the tv settings and was impressed to learn that I had not. Makes a difference in my opinion. Worth purchasing for sure.

The Roku - Premiere+ Streaming Media Player is a very good device, but requires considerable effort to set it up. Creating account, password, etc., is necessary to get it running.
