much faster than the roku stick i have in the bedroom, which i love. My smart tv in the living room was too slow to load and thought i would give this a try and there is an enormous difference in speed. I thought it was my wifi or internet speed that was the problem but this cured the speed challenge.

My wife has been sick so we decided it would be nice to connect the second floor to all the movies and show we have on stream. She likes having all the choices.

I chose this version simply because if the ethernet connection.

It lets a person listen without disturbing other people when using earphones that plug into remote.

Love listening to Pandora & Spotify music thru included ear buds while vacuuming & preparing meals.

I love how smoothly it loads and plays. We have an older style for our old TV that we thought was good but this one is far better. The only issue I have is that our bluray player overrides the Roku and it won't come back up until I unplug it and plug it back in, still trying to figure that one out.

This is the third Roku we have in the house and we don’t even have a 4K TV to play this off of yet.

One has only had this device for a few weeks, and so far the performance is good. (However, not sure how much faster it is to my very old Roku: will test for sure at some point.). The 4K streaming is very good: also faster streaming seemingly with the wired connection. One undesirable is that with certain clips there are ads. (For some reason the preview menu is repeated: not sure of the purpose.)

I bought this to improve my streaming speeds for Netflix and Amazon Prime. My older DVD player wouldn't pass the signal fast enough to keep up with HD. This was simple to hook up to my AV system (HDMI) and easily recognized my wifi signal. Netflix is built right in and other apps are easy to add.

I love this thing. So simple, so many apps and things to choose from, yet better than Chromecast because it has structure, but not too much, like the Apple TV. I now have one in every room that has a TV. My wife is sick of the TV being on at night for bedtime so the attachable ear buds are amazing.

The premere+ is better than the old roku stick I had. I like that you can choose wireless or wired connection. The wired seems to have no lag which is great.

This is the second Roku Premiere+ Streaming Media Player I bought iin a month. The first one had a setup problem: in one TV, it showed a black screen and then stopped working after the jumping Roku logo appeared. I got a replacement Roku from Bestbuy (their service is excellent!). I did the same thing: put it to the first TV and the black screen appeared and Roku stopped working after jumping ROKU logo. I switched to my second TV and setup the Roku for the second TV (it worked fortunately) and brought the Roku back to the first TV and it works for my first TV now. So I bought the second Roku Premiere+ Streaming Media Player . Ironically, when I set this Roku for my second TV, same thing happened again: black screen appeared and Roku stopped working after the jumping ROKU logo. So I switched to my first TV, setup for the first TV and brought it back to the second TV, it works for the second TV. After it works, it is excellent. My conclusion is if you have only one TV don't buy this ROKU Premiere+ Streaming Media Player. In my first review, i gave a 4-star. but this time, 3-star.

Great buy for your buck would recommend this to anyone that's looking to get rid of your cable box.

I really like the headphone jack in the remote. It does drain the batteries quickly.

Choice was the Roku or Amazon Fire TV. Opted for the Roku based on history and reviews. Good value. 4 star only because I think remote could be a bit better.

This is the absolute best streaming box I've used so far. I've tried Chromecast and Android boxes, but this thing is far better in my opinion. Easy to use interface, great channel selection and spectacular resolution. It made my old cheap HD TV look like it was a high-end model.

This is great for those that want to watch online shows and stream movies. It was easy to set up.

Its consistent and the feedback on the remote. Has alot of channels. A great alternative to cable

I needed a device to stream videos and selected the ROKU Premire+ after reading several reviews. So far the device has worked great. It's flexible and easy to use. I connected to our home entertainment system so that we can access streaming content from several TVs using just one Premire+.
