Roku remains best streaming device available. The Premiere+ is sleek and easy to setup. I own several Rokus and this model is the fastest to load. The 4K capability is a plus. The only negative is that it does not have voice search which is not a major issue for me.

I have a five year old smart TV that still works great. I got messages from Pandora, You-Tuibe and other services that their app would no longer be supported for my TV. I got this Roku and got these services back and more. I also like the private listening feature utilized by plugging earphones into the remote.

If you have internet, this is a good substitute for cable. it works well. You can use the remote or voice commend. I would recommend!

I got this during Black Friday deals and it was definitely a great deal! It is very user friendly and easy to set up. It has many apps to choose from. I mainly got it to be able to see my cable channels on other tvs in the house without having to pay for extra boxes. My daughters have smart tvs which I wasn't able to get the cable app on but Roku has all of the apps! So, I love it!

I had a Roku 2XS and then eventually went the route of Chromecast and Fire Stick to try out other products. Each one certainly has their pros and cons, I find that the Roku crashes the most out of all of them. However, a built in ethernet port, point anywhere remote, and not being affiliated with one of the 'bigs' like Google or Amazon makes you feel less tied to their products. Would be nice to see a Twitch channel eventually come on, but that's just a minor inconvenience. After upgrading to a 4K TV, I wanted a streaming player that handled 4K apps and was torn between the Roku and Amazon's Fire Stick. The fact that the Roku came with a built in ethernet port so I could run a wired connection for a better quality stream without purchasing an additional adapter like Amazon's is what sold me. Having used Roku before, it was easy to hop back into their UI and figure things out. Since I still had my Roku account, setup was a breeze since it automatically added all the channels I had on my old Roku as well. This certainly does its job and does it well. The fact that the box isn't terribly huge is nice since it has about an equal footprint of my Steam Link in the entertainment center.

I didn't realize how bad we had it with the Smarthub feature on our Samsung "Smart" TV. For years, we've had issues with it not working, being slow, always updating, and sometimes not working. The Roku is totally awesome. It is fast, no software updates (at least noticeable to the user), and a great selection of apps. (including youtube which was not available on the Samsung)

Streams 4k, can listen at night with the remote, works better than Firebox.

I recently moved up to a 4K tv and was wanting to get as much out of it as possible. And Netflix streams in 4K so this was an easy decision. And with the Black Friday price it was an unbeatable deal. First thing I watched was Rogue One. It was like seeing it again for the first time. The device itself is easy to setup and use. I have absolutely no complaints about this Roku.

I recently uprgraded to a 4K tv so I have been waiting on roku to update their line. I choose the plus model mostly for the Ethernet port as I can easily take advantage of it. Although 4K content is still somewhat limited, it looks spectacular when you have it. I am also very happy with how it displays 1080 signals of which I mostly watch. I have used Netflix, Amazon Prime.

I finally decided to jettison my cable, and read up on the various replacement options. I selected Roku based upon free/pay options it would stream, and reviews I had read on ease of setup. The list of channels is extremely broad, and I had it up and running (as well as connected to my Netflix and Amazon accounts) in 15 minutes. First night: watched the free Yule log ;o)

The picture quality is closest to true 4K. Processes your commands fast.

Was using the Spectrum device on a remote TV, switched over to the ROKU which gave me more channels, more information (like a channel guide) and easier to use. Why does Spectrum not work as well as the ROKU being they are supplying these remote devices? Going over to all ROKU devices and have already turned my remote boxes to Spectrum (which cost $4 a month)!

Have always been an Apple TV loyalist but I decided to take the plunge and give Roku a shot. I couldn’t be happier with my Roku Premiere +. The variety of channels, easy navigation and private listening have made me ecstatic about my purchase. I will be buying a few more of these for other rooms around the house. Outstanding purchase that I highly recommend.
