A must if you have kids! I originally bought this for myself but the kids have taken it over. They love watching YouTube, Netflix, Hulu in here. Works great and I actually bought 2 more for each tv.

Recently purchased the Roku Streaming Stick to upgrade my old Apple TV. Initially I was just going to get the newer (but not really all that new) Apple TV, but it was just too expensive. Gave this a try and it may have turned out to be one of my best entertainment buys ever. Small and smart HDMI hookup, HD entertainment, all the cool sought out apps like Netflix, Hulu, Sling TV, DirectvNow and so many more options as well, and for such an affordable price. Great buy!

Decided to cut the cable cord and go solely high speed internet. The Roku works great for my main living room TV because it's slim and sleek...the streaming stick hides nicely behind by 60" TV plugged into the HDMI. I mainly like the fact that the remote doesn't require it to be pointed at anything and just works. I also like the capability of plugging in headphones into the remote to listen to what I'm watching late at night and not being concerned about waking up the household. I plan on getting other Roku products for other TVs in my cable-free home.

if you want to cut cable and still be able to watch shows, this is the way to go. You can either do the roku or amazon firestick. it plugs into the HDMI port and either plugs into the wall or the usb port. If your TV is hanging on the wall, you do have to get an extender cord to insert the stick into the port. You can get the extender free on the roku website. We haven't had any problems so far with the device. There's a lot of free programs/channels available at the roku app store. You can download your preferences on the website as well. We would definitely buy another one for our other tv.

I have so many devices at home that can stream, WiiU, PS3, 2 XBoxes, Smart TV, bluray player, Chromecast...and none of them comes close to the ROKU for streaming. Setup is easy. It can be powered by the USB port behind the TV. It's fast to launch. The menu is easy to understand and navigate. It offers all the streaming services available on every other devices out there, and then some more. And my favorite...the remote works via WiFi and works even when not pointed at the set.

Bought this to eventually move to Sling TV. Stick was easy to install to HDMI but you also need USB for power so be aware of that. Setup was quick and easy and it was up and running in 10 minutes.

Very small and compact. Easily turns any hdmi tv into a smart tv and you can get tons of apps and channels. Really awsome

Didn’t know there was such a thing to make my older TV a smart TV! It was easy to hook up and works off of a remote control. Very easy to figure out for this 70 year old! Would highly recommend.

I'm pleased with the Roku's streaming capability. Small device, easy install, simple remote, fast channel selection.

The 2016 Roku Stick is much faster than the generation of streaming sticks that came before it (from Roku, Amazon and Google). The remote is a point anywhere which is very convenient. It doesn't have the headphone output of the higher models, but that never worked for me on previous models anyways. Like all Rokus, the internal memory isn't big so I wish it had a slot for a micro-sd card as it will have to load more often if you have a lot of channels. So far over experienced some buffering issues but I think it's due to the specific channel as it only happens to some channels. Great stick overall.

Works really well. Was easy to set up. My only disappointment is that within a week or two, BB offered a sale on these for $10 less than what I paid for it!

Thanks to Roku, I did it! I cut the cord. I love the content and the quality. It's easy to use and set up is a breeze.

We have roku in our summer home and love it, so bought one for our winter home. This was not at all difficult to install. We have amazon and Netflix and we’re able to get both up and running.

Love this Roku stick. I am able to see all the latest movies and shows on Amazon, Netfick, etc. Don't know what I did before this stick. If you love movies and great shows this is a must buy.

Even though I had a smart TV, it didn't offer PlayStation Vue or HBO Now for streaming. The Roku does offer these and a ton of other services. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I had to get the HDMI port extender because the stick was set too far behind the TV and the remote did not work reliably. Once I received the free extender, the remote worked well.

Very easy to use and add channels. Has its hiccups like any other streaming devices. Seems much quicker than my apple tv and works more flawless than the chromecast.

I decided on the Roku streaming devices after comparing them to other streaming items. Easy to use and very quick responses. We are an OTR family and the Roku devises stream on all our TV's.

Great device for streaming! I love that it has app for my Xfinity cable provider allowing me to use it without paying for an extra box. My wife loves the Viki app to stream her Korean drama.

Bought this in addition to my Roku Premiere. Just plug it in to my other TV and it streams all my channels! Best decision ever to drop cable! Guys in electronics are very knowledgeable too!!

It's good for watching online applications such as Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu plus the hundreds of video apps they have for the Roku but I gave this four stars because you can't plug in your flash drive into the Roku to watch videos that you have saved
