Compared with previous stick, it has a better wifi reception and speed great improvement a must buy!!!!

My old roku bit the dust. I left it plugged in for 3 years. Now I unplug the power supply cord when not watching. New one is perfect...buffering is gone and gets right to it.

I had an Amazon fire tv stick which broke. the amazon stick is geared toward Amazon and even access to the app store is the Amazon app store and not the Android app store. The Roku is easier to use has a more user friendly phone app. Is more responsive (less lag) and has built in device mirroring where the Amazon stick you need a third party app. Uploading some extras do require that you use the phone app, but is is so user friendly vs the Amazon app.

Quick setup and easy to navigate. Picture quality is far superior to streaming through a PC or smart tv.

Like the product - great alternative to the DTA box, however, a couple of time it would quit working and I had to reinstall. Otherwise works great. So-so with Beta Xfinity app - was hoping that would be better, but Xfinity issue not Roku

This streaming stick made transitioning from a cable subscriber to a cord cutter very easy. Many apps to choose from and customize to your taste and great quality for the price.

Nice simple setup, good picture for most TV's and video sources. If you don't have 4k and don't wont to spend a lot this will work fine for you.

I was nervous about cord cutting and took a couple of years to commit to it, but now I wish we had done it sooner. We hadn't heard of roku until we were shopping for smart tvs and dreading the frivolous expense. The roku stick was a perfect option for us at such an affordable price. With our netflix and slingtv subscriptions, we're now able to catch movies and watch shows without commercials for a grand total of $30 per month. Can't beat it.

Very happy with this stick. It’s exactly what I needed to bypass an additional cable cost now that Spectrum is requiring you to have a box on each tv as it goes 100% digital!

So for four years I've debated canceling my cable subscription, but I have small children that like to see cartoons. I researched and went with roku because as a nexflix, amazon and sling member I would have everything at the palm of my hand on one control. It doesn't get better than that I'm Saving $176 a month from my cable subscription.

I purchased the Roku instead of paying for a cable box for Spectrum Cable. I was able to download the Spectrum app to watch live TV through the app. I would highly recommend.

HBOgo, MLBtv, Netflix, and everything stream great! Easy to install and use within minutes of purchasing.

This was an awesome way for me to cut out cable in my home. I have saved over $100 a month by getting the Roku stick and I have recommended this item to my friends and family.

Compact, full of apps, easy to setup. Got it for a good price and great product when you cut the cord.

I was previously I user of Google Chromecast but I was unable to get some apps that were capable with Chromecast (such as Amazon Video), so I tried this out and I like all of the options and that fact that you can listen from your phone if you are in the room with someone else and have it on the TV. The only downside is that you have to log into each separate channel/app on the device which then requires you to input your information such as the NBC app or Netflix. This is time consuming on the front-end but after the initial log-in you are good to go.

Own two different Roku systems. They are both really easy to use and are really fast. Great product.

The new streaming stick is much faster than the old with all the same content. Great deal for the price

Combined with Sling TV and a few other aps, will be able to cut ties with cable service and still enjoy all my favorite channels for half the price.

Great purchase. We use the Charter Spectrum app and it basically turns the roku into a cable box... without having to rent it each month. Picture is great and I love how it just plug into the back of the tv and gets power from the usb port on the back of the tv so there are no extra power cord to plug into the wall. Would be perfect for a wall mounted tv or a tv in a spot where there is no cable outlet since it just uses wifi.

I received this as a birthday present to replace my Roku 1. I am very pleased with the speed of this device. It also supports all of the newer apps and functionality. I am particularly fond of the ability to listen to my TV through headphones plugged into my cell phone via the Roku app. It is nice because my roommate works from home and is on the phone all of the time. This way I can watch TV and not have to worry about bothering him.
