This Samson mic stand is perfect for a budget, works like a dream!

Easy to setup and use. It can be clamp mounted or screwed down. DO keep in mind that rough use could damage what you have it clamped or screwed down to if it's thin pressboard of even thin wood. If it's 3/4" pressboard or 1/2" wood, or thicker, I'd say your good to go. I tried various mics with it and it held them all very well. Build quality looks and feels good. Recommended.

Works great with my yeti mic. Pretty sturdy but i wish it could extend more.

These are awesome!! I use them in my personal setup, i recommended them to my little brother for his gaming setup, and my mother in law uses it for her podcast studio.

Super dope purchase. Wish i had one of these years ago. Make sure you have a good quality desk or place to clamp it on, is does have bit of weight to it when its extended in a horizontal direction. -@kadencychicago

It's so nice for the price I bought it twice. I would compare this boom arm to a lot of the other scissor boom arm offerings on the market but this one has a convenience of being at pretty much any Best Buy store in the country you can just walk in and get one bring it home and Mount up a standard threaded microphone. Though I would recommend taking some time to get to learn the ergonomics of how to swing the arm because you may bend it the wrong way whenever you first try it out but it's resilient enough to not break

Nice and sturdy. Holds it's position well and requires a decent amount of force to adjust its position, which I like. The parallel rail design and included cable ties allow for cable concealment which looks nice. Great length too and articulates well. My one major complaint with this is the lack of vibration dampening on the clamp. I added material to the inside of the clamp to help. You can literally just tap your finger on the desk/ platform it's clamped to and hear major feedback picked up by the mic. In fact I haven't found a perfect solution to this yet, but thick rubber inserts are the best I can do for now. It's possible there's a product specifically designed to mitigate this but I haven't found one yet.

Because if the way its built it fits a wide variety of microphones, and the quality of the arm is very impressive, and comes with everything you need. For my application it is a little bulky I will say, but ive enjoyed it so much I am just keeping it.
