I've been using Messenger Bags as my work briefcase for the last few years. Their time has come and gone in my humble opinion. They may look nice, but they're not particularly convenient. I bought this Samsonite - Carrier Fullpack Backpack as my new work companion and I couldn't happier with it. Its feature packed, very lightweight, stylish and as would be expected from Samsonite, well made. Features include a large padded laptop compartment for laptops up to 15.6 inches and it's padded on the bottom to provide better impact protection. The shoulder straps are fully adjustable and offer what Samsonite says is "air-mesh" back panel to help you stay more comfortable by improving airflow. You can store loads of things you may need in the internal and external compartments and the backpack is made of polyester, ballistic and polyurethane-coated materials. This should ensure it's durable for years to come. I've been using this now for over a month and I'm very pleased. It's affordable, well made, comfortable and holds everything I need between home and office. Of course you don't have to use this work, it could be the perfect accompaniment for weekend getaways too!

I needed a new laptop backpack that had more capacity for my other items, and this one has worked perfectly. It is well constructed and has many compartments, including a zippered pocket with soft fabric on the inside for sunglasses. I wish the straps had a little more padding, but am still very happy with this backpack!

High quality and comfortable. Lots of room for all my gear

I bought this backpack to take my tablet and other electronic essentials with me on a Christmas European vacation. As well made as they are, I didn't want to lug around another bulky, heavy SwissGear backpack. I needed something lighter with the same integrity and room of the SwissGear. I'm not sure how Samsonite did it, but it checks all the boxes of those requirements. And unlike my SwissGear backpack, they don't over-complicate things with too many zips and pockets. Samsonite keeps this simple. My only wish is that the top pocket, where you keep your sunlasses and quick-access items, was lined in something other than black in color because things in this pocket can be a bit difficult to find/see when the pocket is black. Other than that, it's perfect and now that I'm back, it has room for my 17-inch screen laptop.

I purchased this backpack for a Lenovo Thinkpad. Very Happy with my purchase - is well made and sturdy. Plenty of room for the laptop in one section. Other Roomy sections hold pens, notepads, office paperwork, and even my iPad. Also a small section for Your personal items like chapstick, thumb drives, etc. Is comfortable on your back. I don’t have to walk far so don’t know how a long commute would feel on your back. I’ve had this backpack a month and has performed well and I would purchase again.

Beside the good looking , this one is really light in terms of empathy weigh , I have others which are really heavy, my son love it.

I am a network engineer. I need to carry all of my cables and other networking tools around a long with my laptop all the time. This backpack is very light weight and fits everything into it with easy access to them. I've owned a Swiss backpack for more than 10 years before this one. It was a little too heavy compare to this one.

After searching for an air travel worthy backpack that was lightweight, could stand up by itself plus had a strap to piggyback onto the telescoping handle of my suitcase this Samsonite was the perfect solution. It has enough organized pockets and compartments for all my gear.

Has plenty of space to carry and organize all of my things while doing so. I'm able to fit my iPad, MacBook and about three average sized books in it at a time, obviously along with pencils and such). It has a dedicated pocket for my iPad and my MacBook. It also has a bottle holding pocket which was a deal breaker for me. Quality wise it has held up so far against daily usage at school and two trips overseas.

Excellent lightweight backpack with pockets for papers, tablet and laptop. Fit my HP Pro laptop perfectly. I like that it had a clip for my keys and pockets for my wallet and passport while traveling.

Need a backpack that could carry my work computer and my personal electronics to. This was perfect! Very durable and so many pockets to choose from. Would definitely recommend!
