I just bought this to replace an aging Vizio soundbar. The Vizio always gave me issues -- the unit would go into sleep mode from which is wouldn't gracefully wake up, causing me to have to go back into the HDMI ARC/CEC settings on the TV to try and get it to function again. The subwoofer had also failed. Generally, I was suffering using that thing. So, I bought this one on Black Friday for ~$150 or so. What a great buy. This thing looks nicer, is a bit smaller and more refined than the Vizio unit. But more importantly, it just works. No issues with HDMI ARC or with it going to sleep and not waking up. No issues with the subwoofer. And the sound is fantastic, definitely better than the Vizio. I'll be honest, I was a bit hesitant and worried that this item wouldn't be very good based solely on the price but other reviews gave me the confidence to pull the trigger and I'm glad I did. I love this unit and would definitely buy it again... Recommended A+

The soundbar is easy to use and setup. It has great sound for it being an entry level soundbar. I have used it at fight parties with a house of full of people and it is still loud. Bluetooth allows you to play your music via the soundbar.

The sound quality, ability to handle Dolby digital, and price of this soundbar makes it a steal if you are only going for a 2.1 set up. However, note you will need to get the ads-8000s model of the rear speaker, as the 8500 and 9000s models are only compatible with the m series soundbars from Samsung!

We looked at buying the Bose sound bar. It was a lot more $. Just needed something to suffice, not break the bank. This works amazingly for the price. Wireless woofer works great from across the room. Don't waste $ on Bose unless absolutely looking for top notch.

This was very easy to setup and connect to a Samsung TV. It took a bit to "tune" the soundbar to our preferences, but now it's saved and going smoothly. The display is easy to read from a distance of 30-35 feet. There are times that I wish I spent more for a newer/more powerful unit, but this is good quality for the money and amount of time spent using it.

I bought this soundbar to compliment a 55" Samsung curved screen HD TV I have. Set up was pretty seamless. Sound is good, and I'm pleased I can also Bluetooth connect the iTunes library on my Mac with the soundbar. System does seem to unexpectedly disconnect from time-to-time, which can be frustrating. Overall, still a good purchase and pretty reliable sound.

This unit sounds excellent, was easy to connect, and looks swanky!!! I love it...and you will too. Price was great for the product.

Didn't really have to do much more than plug it in. Connectivity between the tv and sub woofer was automatic. Sounds great in our small home. Haven't tried bluetooth phone hookup for music yet but look forward to that sounding great also. One downside so far is when you want to mute the tv you have to use both the cable remote and the sound bar remote.

I was looking for soundbars for a while because I wanted to be able to enjoy movies and even just music with more bass and more sound. I already have a Samsung Smart TV and I love Samsung products anyway, so it was natural for me to choose this one. It isn't too expensive, yet it still delivers everything I expected from a soundbar at this price range. There were some people who complained about the audio not syncing properly, but I just followed what everyone else did (but I cant recall what I did at this time) and it totally fixed it. I like how I can select BT and listen to music from my phone or tablet. And then switch back to my TV with ease when I want to watch a show or movie. The subwoofer is great. Its small but its loud. We barely put the volume super high because staying between 14-16 is loud enough for us.

This soundbar system was very easy to setup. The wireless subwoofer connected almost immediately by following the instructions in the manual. For a soundbar and wireless subwoofer this has some of best sound. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great sound for a sound bar. I am very well pleased with the Samsung products in general and the sound bar so it really adds to the quality of sound from my television. I wish I could have afforded a higher end but this one works just great .

Recently purchased this soundbar as an upgrade to our old 5 speaker wired system. Love this soundbar! We got it on sale online and the sound quality is great! Would definitely recommend this product. If you can get it on sale, even better!!

I wanted a soundbar for my 50” Sony Bravia and when I found this one for a great Black Friday price, I bought it. It was very easy to hook up and I am very happy with the sound. I have a small living room, so it’s perfect for this space.

I had a Sharp soundbar that randomly stopped working after 2 years - just went into "Power Protection Mode" and wouldn't turn back on. Called customer service and they said it would be $75 just to have them look at it, then extra to fix it. "No thank you. I'd rather invest that into a different company's soundbar." I'm very glad it was this one! Its digital display is very intuitive and the sound is clear. Night mode is useful if you don't want to wake your children after-hours. One feature with this soundbar that really impresses me in comparison to my previous one is the Surround Sound. A couple of times so far, I've noticed the voice moving off screen with the character. I've never noticed that with my previous Sharp soundbar! Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Being my first time setting something up like this it was farely simple. The sound is great and I love adjusting the bass and tremble on sub depending on what I'm watching and listening too. Great black Friday buy for sure!

This soundbar puts out a high quality sound in a good size package. I use it in my RV under the tv and it really immerses the whole rig in a crisp clean sound with a good amount of bass.

This sound bar is very good for the price. The sound is clear and loud and the bass box is great. The instructions were clear and easy to follow making setup quick and simple. Once you figure out the Bluetooth it works great. The only negative I’ve found so far is some feedback when the tv volume is up too high.

Setup was very simple, works great with Bluetooth. Sounds great. Took out the old surround sound that only worked while watching a DVD. This sound bar can play music Bluetoothed from my phone. Sub woofer thumps great.

I am pleased with sound quality! I wasn’t sure if I needed a more expensive model but in my average size Family room this is powerful enough! Easy to set up and use! Only thing is now I have to use 3 remotes. Universal four dish network. TV remote for others like YouTube, and separate one for sound!

Bought the sound bar for my Christmas gift and it was well worth what I paid for it. Setting it up to the TV did not take much time and I love the sound. I would recommend this to anyone looking to use a sound bar.
