Great 4k Monitor for office work

I bought a pair of these for a great price of $180/unit. Both HDMI and DP ports work great when hooked up to a TB4 (USB4) hub. Although it's not for gaming, the response time of waking up with units attached is fast relative to my BenQ monitors. Docking 1 star because it's ALL plastic, it feels light but also cheap. One other weird thing is that if you turn off the "Auto source switch", and then turn it back on, it's not always working. Perhaps it's actually due to my hub, it's not an expensive unit like Caldigit.

This monitor was exactly what I needed for productivity. I got these monitors for the vertical portrait feature which is amazing. the color and brightness are also great please note this is not a gaming monitor though while it can game at 4k60 just fine you will have a higher MS response time and may get some tearing. Other than that and the price being a tad high unless on sale although that's personal opinion though, this monitor is a great upgrade if you're looking to get into 4k.

Works good. Sharp image and good color. Only negative - I wish the standcould be adjusted to a lower lever. It blocks my view somewhat. Otherwise, a great buy.

I bought another open-box samsung 4k monitor one week ago, but it was defective, there's something dirty but unremovable on the screen. So I bought this one in the brand new condition. Unfortunately it has dead pixels. very disappointed especially when the shipping took one week. I will return it and place the order again. I like its ergonomic stand so much.

Picked this up on sale for $179 figured it was a great deal but honestly it's not a very good monitor I really wouldn't recommend it even at that price. Lots of ghosting and poor performance on Mac Mini M4. Ended up getting returned due to dead pixels and picked up a ASUS ProArt which is significantly better although twice the cost.

This screen was well worth every penny of my hard earned money I spent on it. The simple plug and play setup and warranty registration along with the fabulous resolution absolutely rocks. I'd definitely do it all over again if I had to.

Can't emphasize enough the quality of the monitor for the price I got it at (on sale for $179.99 with a Bestbuy retail price of $419.99). I'm using it for remote work and casual gaming, so I'm fine with the 60 Hz refresh rate.
Set-up was incredibly smooth - the base is solid and weighty, with no concerns of tipping, and everything clicks together, so you know when something has slotted in. It's easy to take apart; there's a small metal button beneath the base that you can press in order to release the mechanism. The arm slots into the monitor and when you push it together, that, too, clicks together. I understand it sounds like I'm making a big deal out of a nothing burger, but compared to other monitors purchased around the same price, this took much less time and stress to set up, and there was no point where I was worried about accidentally tipping the monitor over and shattering the screen.
There's a silicone strip near the bottom of the base that holds your wires, which is nice for cable management purposes. You can turn your monitor for horizontal or vertical viewing, making it versatile. Surprisingly little waste (i.e., plastic bags) after you set it up, and the box opens on its widest face, so you don't have to precariously slide out the screen and pray you don't damage it somehow. The biggest pro for me was the inclusion of both DP-to-DP and HDMI-to-HDMI cords; my GPU just has one HDMI port and I've had some headaches tweaking HDMI-to-DP converters in the past, so setting this up was painless.
There's just a lot of minute things that make this monitor consumer-friendly to put together and one I'll most likely recommend moving forward, though I suppose it just might be because it was originally upwards of $400.

Nice, affordable, no speakers

This monitor has a USB A hub and it has no speakers. There are a few very similar flavors of it, with a USB C version, a thunderbolt port, and also one with speakers, but those aren't on sale, or at least not as affordable.. My computer has enough of USB C ports so I picked this one. Also I'm using a Thunderbolt to Display Port cable for video because it's native, no signal processing involved, so I didn't need to buy the more expensive versions.
I'm using it with a Mac Mini M4, scaled to 3008x1642 and it is darn close to retina quality.
One annoyance is that when my Mac Mini wakes up from sleep the auto pop-up info display covers the password entry field for 5 seconds.

Excellent monitor, plenty bright, Wide color gamut. Good for both professional and entertainment purpose. This is the monitor I was looking for in terms of size, price and performance. For $180 it's a no brainer. (May be not a good fit for extreme gamers who expect high refresh rate).

I work from home dealing mostly with emails and text files. I originally bought a cheap 1080p 21" monitor but after looking at the text on that screen, I returned it and got two of these. I love them. Text on the 4K screen is so crisp and the colors are amazing. Very happy with these monitors! Good price too compared to other 4K monitors. I did a lot of research and decided to buy these. Highly recommend.
Note this model does not have the USB-C port as advertised on other S8 monitors. The only downside is missing a DP out connection, making them not capable for daisy chaining.

purchased this monitor for m4 mac mini, works flawlessly with included HDMI cord. i also used a usb-c to display port cable with zero issues(purchased separately). Once assembled, This monitor is sturdy and has some weight to it. Color accuracy is impressive, m4 mac mini can be placed on the base of this monitor allowing for more desk space and a clean aesthetic.

As a photographer, I need a high resolution, hdr monitor. This one does the job without breaking the bank. Colors are true and vibrant when I'm editing HDR images and the resolution is tight and crisp. The refresh rate is pretty average, this is not a high end gaming monitor, but I don't need it to be so works great for me.

Recently purchased this 27" 4k monitor, with 60 Hz and HDR10. Good, not great. For the price, I can't complain. Great for office work, crisp and clear text for office productivity. A bit small for gaming, but was able to run AAA games smoothly, if only at 60 fps. Would not recommend for serious or extensive gaming but maybe for strategy or less graphics intense games. Bright display, works well at night as well.

Color is amazing, east set up and overall I really like it. However, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because if you leave it turned on all the time, every few minutes the screen lights up and displays a message, then goes off a few seconds later. Daytime, no problem. Nighttime, lights up the room.
