Solidly built wine cellar with a few draw backs

This wine cellar seems to be well built and is fairly quiet. It looks great and overall for the price it seems to be a good value. I read other reviews before buying this and as others noted, it doesn’t hold the advertised 51 bottles. It might if you have all standard size wine bottles but a lot of wineries have unique size bottles these days with some being wider and/or taller that reduces how many bottles you can fit, (See my pictures) Champagne bottles are too wide for the top section of the fridge-they will fit but you have to force them in. So far the adjustable two zone temperatures seem to hold very steady. I’m a very amateur wine “collector” at this point but this wine cellar is a great starting point for me!

Samsung - 51-Bottle Capacity Wine Cooler - Stainle

This fridge was super easy to setup - We didn’t use it in the cabinet space to lose storage for pots and pans. Only complaint is the drawers have to be pushed in all the way - If you just slide it in, it doesn't go in far enough for the door to close all the way - You have to make sure it 'clicks' then the door can close. It does beep when the door is not closed properly. I love the dual temperatures for my white and red wines. The temperature settings during power outages will return back to its original settings you’ve entered. I thought the light would change to a blue color but I was mistaken. It’s a sturdy wine cellar and build.

Love this wine fridge!! It’s so nice and sleek and all my bottles (of various sizes) actually fit very easily, which never worked for my old wine fridge! It’s a little more snug with some of the wider/thicker bottles, but it still has room to fit those and closes easily without damaging the labels. I posted a photo of one drawer with standard size bottles and the other drawer with various sized/wider bottles than never would fit 8 bottles in a drawer with my last fridge that broke! Happy with my purchase!

This fridge was super easy to install - We pulled out a cabinet and put this in it's place. It has secure mounting to side and top of the cabinet/counter, although we had to get a glue-on bracket since we could not screw it into the granite easily. Only complaint is the drawers have to be pushed in all the way - If you just slide it in, it doesn't go in far enough for the door to close all the way - You have to make sure it 'clicks' then the door can close. It does beep when the door is not closed properly. Also keep in mind the 26" depth on the BBY site includes the handle. It is slightly less than 24" front to back in reality without the handle.

Absolutely love this wine refrigerator...sleek style that is beautiful to look at and made strongly. Shelves are sturdy and pull open with ease. My one recommendation is a blue light instead of clear.

Very easy to install/configure, although the accompanying instructions contained more than several spelling/grammar mistakes (Cmon Samsung). It fits perfectly into our little bar area, and we’ve plenty of compliments!

Do NOT buy. Neither Best Buy nor Samsung will help you with this defective wine cooler. Ours arrived with defective glue - the metal fascia on each shelf pulls right off every time you try to get your bottles out. A technician came out and Best Buy refuses to help, saying it's Samsung's responsibility, and Samsung says it's Best Buy's. BE WARNED - cheap materials used.

Buyer Beware! My fridge came damaged. I think my Samsung was either dropped at some point or it was as an undisclosed scratch and dent model. I had my fridge 38 days, when I noticed the door was misaligned and the seal was gapping near the handle end. I notified Samsung warranty department on Oct 14th and they sent a service tech out on October 22nd, who took the kickplate off and this revealed a bent hinge and a bent underside as if it was dropped on the tip. This was not visible upon delivery and concealed behind a plate. Samsung put the responsibility on Best Buy stating it was a physical damage defect. Best Buy advised it was outside the 15 day warranty and I'd have to bring it back to the store and they would then consider what could be done. I advised that I bought it online but Best Buy's service department said I had to go through a store. Now, I will attempt to get a friend with a pick-up truck to help me bring it back to the store.

Incredibly disappointed with the service I’ve received due to this malfunctioning product. $1500 for a wine fridge that has no temp control and a display that acts like a strobe light, not to mention the cold air blasting from the bottom grate for no reason. I wasted 2 hours of my life this morning trying to get assistance and kept being transferred to different people and given different numbers to call until I finally hit a dead end. So unacceptable. This fridge worked for 3 months before it started going haywire and apparently nothing can be done about it? Horrible customer service.

I love that this wine fridge matches my Samsung refrigerator and it is a very good value for the money based on my research (plus it was in stock!). Here are the cons: a little noisy when the compressor turns on/off (although I think this will be minimized once it is installed under my counter next week - now it is sitting out in the open), the white light is obnoxious and a blue light would be so much better (tip: I set it so that the light only turns on when the door is opened), champagne and Prosecco bottles only fit on the top or bottom shelf, and the temperature doesn’t allow much variance between the 2 zones due to the internal configuration. I knew all of these things based on previous reviews, so no surprises. The pros: looks beautiful and expensive, the shelves and door feel very sturdy, the door is reversible (we reversed it), minimal finger print issues, arrived quickly and in perfect condition, and the price was good for the quality. The packaging was awesome, but I was not aware that the delivery guys would not be allowed to take the fridge out of the box for me. Thankfully I discovered that the large top part of the box was only connected with tape to the bottom/base and it could be lifted off fairly easily by one person. I was then able to gently scoot the fridge back and forth to get it off the bottom piece of heavy duty cardboard. It would have been nice if the delivery guys could have at least provided these tips, but they were in and out of my house in literally 2 minutes or less, so delivery was an incredibly rushed process. I have been using my new wine fridge for one month and all-in-all I am very happy so far!!

Sleek and has plenty of room for wine. Quiet when it turns on and easy to install. Very happy after looking at many different models and reading many reviews. I'm glad I did the diligence and hope many others benefit.

Great wine refrigerator! It was pricey, compared with earlier ones we've bought, but it is well made, sturdier than the others, and keeps the wine at the right temperature. Also, it looks good and is quiet. We're glad we bought it.

Have had a week so far and very happy. Maintains the proper temperature, easy to operate. Had looked at reviews on several different dual zones and even though there were only 14 reviews so far on this one I went with it. The drawers are well made and pull out beautifully without falling out of tracks etc. I buy all Samsung Tv’s also and have never been disappointed. For the most part it is very quiet. Would definitely recommend:)

Our old wine cooler was about to give out so we purchase this one since it would match our Samsung stove and fridge. Right away we were impressed by the quality and look of it. The inner trays slide out and our made of metal, not cheap wood like in those of our old wine cooler. Set up was easy, as was adjusting the temperature on the top and bottom halves. It is also very quiet, again, unlike our old wine cooler. Great buy overall.

So far I have been impressed with this unit. Bought it for the clean, modern design and the brand reputation (good experience with other Samsung products). It hasn't disappointed. keeps wine at desired temperature. The control interface could be improved - somewhat non-intuitive and sometimes require multiple preses of a button. Luckily, once temperature is set you don't really need to mess with it again. Compressor is reasonably quiet - much more stealthy than the 2 door GE Monogram fridge it is next to. Overall - highly recommended

So Far, so Good. I bought two of these to replace to old KitchenAid wine coolers that both quit working around the same time. The Samsung is a little louder than the KitchenAid, but only for a few seconds while it is running the compressor. The shelves are metal, which is fine, they do seem to hold more bottles than the KitchenAid did, but you still run into the different shaped bottle dilemma that you get with most wine fridges. I would say the realistic bottle capacity is around 45 bottles, not the advertised 51. I knew that going in, so it was not a big deal to me. Overall, I like the functionality of these, I like the price (I bought both of them for the cost of one KitchenAid) and it keeps my wine cool.
