We absolutely love this TV. The picture is great and it has a ton of features. The remote is easy to use and even though it's a SmartTV it's easy to navigate. We enjoy the few extra channels that Samsung gives you since we do not have cable.

I was long overdue for a TV upgrade and saw this listed as pre-black friday deal. Great picture quality whether gaming or watching movies through a streaming platform. Colors are very dynamic and it has lots of options for customization of the picture quality. Also the motion blur reduction can be custom adjusted to your liking or disabled completely, which is very good to have if you're someone like me who thinks it makes the movements look awkwardly sped up at certain times. I'm happy with the purchase knowing that this unit will hold up with current and future tech before I need to consider buying upgrading again.

I was shopping for a new Smart TV that had all the latest features and was compatible for the future. This has it all and more. Fantastic picture quality, ideal size and easy to use. I could not ask for more.

90% of my Apps already installed. Easy setup. Arc capable. Updated in a matter of minutes of plugging in to network. Phenomenal picture. Remote is a little too simple is the only drawback.

Has a great picture and extra features. But, even after several geek squad contacts, TV still comes on by itself and I have to keep resetting the sound bar from speakers back to the HDMI, in order to use one remote. I am to the point of disconnecting the sound bar, $150.00 dollars for an extra that I cannot use. The remote is a pain to use, cannot just enter the channel you want, have to scroll down, which takes forever when you want channel 68.

Very easy and quick to set up the programing and have the television up and running in no time. Sound and picture are both excellent for our use. Love the ease of using the buttons on the remote to switch from regular tv stations to our prime video and sound control. The set comes with a stand or can be mounted on the wall. The only downside to it was we had to buy different sized hardware to attach to our existing wall mount, but was a quick fix to buy new screws. Overall we love the set and are very happy with the purchase.

Bought at Best Buy. When it was working it was an awesome TV! Bought the 8000 series 2 years ago and it already died so be careful! I thought buying high end would mean it would last 5 years at least. Samsung didn't care - said out of warranty. I Googled the issue (blue / green vertical lines) and thousands of others had the same thing happen - some much sooner! My TV looks as new as the day I bought it. I put it back in the original box. Time to dispose of as it's just an anchor now. When it was working it was a great TV but to spend $1200 (on sale) only to have it die is sad. I don't have that kind of money to blow. SO really it cost me 50 bucks a month to own it?!

The picture quality is good, the colors are excellent. The controls are easy to use. The people who delivered the TV were great and they answered all of our questions

I was a little afraid of “Smart” TV’s thinking I may not be able to figure out how to use it. After the guided set-up, which follows step by step instructions on the screen, i have found this the easiest piece of technology to use in my house! I can switch between YouTube, NetFlix, AppleTV with a click. Very easy to use. Picture quality is amazing, crisp, sharp, dynamic colors. Using a sound bar enhances sound. Helpful to have Samsung peripherals, like the Samsung soundbar, DVD player, etc....they work seamlessly together off of one simple remote. Nothing too complicated! Love it!!

Hi I am happy with my tv but when it said open box and the discount I was like cool I can save some money. The thing is it didn't come with the remote and stand so the money I saved was pretty much the exact amount I had to spend on buying the remote and stand so I might as well have boughten brand new tv. Im upset bc I was having friends and family over for a movie party to watch new movie on my new tv but it was a bust bc I had to wait days for remote and stand to come. Since you didn't write anywhere on website that it was missing those 2 items I didn't know so I bought it if you wrote on there the 2 items were missing I wouldn't have bought open box tv and bought new tv plus the fact I thought I was saving money buying everything and ended up spending what I saved from your tv on buying remote and stand. So I was not happy with how your store handled all that.

Picture is great and menu system is also well set up. The remote is a little lacking but can get the job done. I still don't understand the push towards voice controls which I find to be useless, but everything else works as expected. The TV is heavier than expected for the size (I know they list the weight) which caused a minor problem with the mounting bracket I was re-using from the TV it was replacing as the top screw couldn't be tightened enough to keep the top of the bracket from sliding from one end of the slot to the other when the TV was being swung on the arm, but a 2nd screw fixed the position and the problem where I also have an 80" TV using the same mounting bracket and didn't have the issue there. The Vesa mount also required me to go out and purchase new screws to get it to work with the bracket but no other major issues in the installation.

Very pleased with this T.V. Great picture. Lots of features. Only drawback was it did not fit on my corner cabinet because it did not have a pedestal stand. I had to purchase a pedestal kit to attach to the T.V. to make it work. Kit cost $175.

Needed a new TV bcuz old one died (12 years old). This TV was lighter, easier to connect. I recommend investing in the sound bar using the hdmi cable & arc feature and 4K cinnamon cable for best picture. Also for hanging up on wall, use the spacers provided but you will have to purchase the longer screws that are recommended for your TV. I also recommend hard wiring for internet access via network bridge, WiFi is cool but no delay via hardwire.

The TV I replaced was almost 10 years old and although it was still in good working condition, I decided to purchased a newer one. So glad I did. The quality of the TV is great! Its so easy to go from TV to the different streaming services is incredible. I upgraded from a 50" to a 55" and it really makes a different. The Black Friday prices was the lowest I have seen and even at the end of January 2020 The price is still the best. They even matched a competitor's price. I'm really happy with this purchase- the best of 2019.

TV has beautiful color and is easy to maneuver through the extras. Easy to install with wonderful sound.

Bought a new 55" Samsung after my old one kicked the bucket. I have always loved the picture from the upper level Samsun TV's. As with most TVs nowadays, you need a soundbar and subwoofer to create a great sound experience, but the picture with this 8 series is really top-notch. It's very easy to setup and use, and after having it in use for a while now, the picture and everything is still like new. It really is a great TV.

I waited a few weeks before posting a review to make sure the TV worked well. It does. I love this TV. Easy set up, great picture, has all the apps I want. I ditched Cable two years ago and just use apps and live. This TV gets a great picture with an antennae and I don't have a very expensive one which makes it even nicer. My TV died unexpectedly and I had to get one quick. I'm glad I decided on this one. So far it's been everything I wanted. Great price too!

We are really enjoying this TV. The smart features allowed us to eliminate various connections/addons that we used with our previous TV. The picture quality is great! The only thing we are unpleased with is the remote control. The remote does not have volume controls nor channel input controls without having to speak into the remote... very disappointing. These are basic functions, or I may just have missed them due to being a "boomer!", but I love the TV.

We bought this TV to replace a 42" Panasonic Plasma TV and couldn't be happier. The picture is bright and colorful, it's much lighter and easier to move for cleaning around the cabinet it is sitting on, the set up was easy, and we like the ability to connect it to our wifi for viewing Netflix, Hulu, and other subscription channels. As with most flat screen TVs, we recommend a soundbar to get better sound. We would buy this TV again at $649!
