My review will not have any technical jargon to relay on anyone as I am not an expert. I think it has a fantastic picture and it is easy to use and set up. I have it in a large room and the sound quality is good anywhere in the room without having to use a soundbar. I would suggest having two people to remove from packaging (which was good) and set up.

We set out looking at another brand but were quickly drawn to the Samsung's picture quality and features. Our salesperson was great in breaking down all the features and helping us compare to other brands we were considering. We have not been disappointed in our purchase the TV has exceed our expectations. Highly recommend this to anyone!

Great picture! Love that it is a Smart TV, very easy to operate.

This TV is a middle price range unit, which is great for someone who is not a looking to get a good 4K TV without breaking the bank. Right away I noticed that the sound quality was much better than my previous TV as is the picture. Samsung does a good job at making everything on the back of the TV easily accessible where some lower end TV do not. The only issue I had was the remote. To make it smaller some commonly used buttons are missing which may require you to get the TV remote app for your phone.

Love the look, nice and sleek. Easy to assemble. Its brightness levels are remarkable! Picture quality is great. It gives a vivid image full of rich colors and very bright . It makes the movie watching experience better than going to the movies. Motion handling is also excellent, with very fast response time and plenty of motion features.

This is easily the best gaming TV I’ve ever owned. Sports and TV shows look great. Movies look pretty good, but this TV won’t get quite as bright as Samsung’s Q70 and above lines. As it stands, this is a reasonably-priced 4K TV that performs better than most competitors at its price point.

I only purchase Samsung televisions. The are the best, hands down. After adjusting to the new screen menu format, I love how easy it is to operate and how user friendly it is. Also love the addition of the Apple TV app. Can't say enough good things about this tv. Beautiful picture, great features. LOVE IT!

Great television. Was a replacement for another Samsung 55" that got taken out by a power surge during Hurricane Barry. Very impressed with the ease of setup and the picture quality. Built in speakers leave a lot to be desired as do most all flat screens, but nothing a sound bar didn't fix. Overall, I would highly recommend this set.

Easy to use, great picture, color is unbelievable!

I really feel in love with this TV when I was shopping for a newer model at Best Buy. It has excellent features and the picture seemed similar to the QLED model but was at least $200 cheaper. So I chose this model. It was an easy install but it tends to darken the picture at times, which upon research, seems to do with eco-settings but I still can't work this bug out...very frustrating!

I am extremely happy with my purchase. This is the best tv I have owned. The picture qualiry is stunning and I love all the features it has. I didn't have a smart tv before and this one is so easy to use. It's very user friendly and I would recommend this for your main tv.

I bought this after moving into an apartment as a living room tv. The tv was easy to set up, has great picture and sound and the remote is easy to use. Love all the available apps and the ability to download more. However, I spend most of my time now in my bedroom watching my Sony tv because this one doesn't work well with internet. I use AT&T TV Now for my cable and I can never watch shows because it constantly either says it's loading or it freezes just seconds into starting the show. It has the same glitches with Netflix. The tv also randomly turns itself back on after I turn it off. I'm debating returning it.

I selected this TV based on select criteria: 1) I wanted 4K quality from a reputable brand. I knew I could buy a cheaper roku or Hisense TV but Samsung has been at this for a while. 2) framerates needed to be high. I game a lot and my old Roku 4K couldn't exceed 25fps on my Xbox X, this reaches 120fps. 3) Smart TV features. Overall, I bought 55in model for approx $740. I stuck with 55in based on my space limit not price. Crystal clear image so far, no dead pixels, and images are fluid. The apps that come pre installed are sufficient with a gallery of dozens more to install. It also comes with free channels from Samsung. Pretty neat for someone who cut Cable TV years ago. It connects to my Galaxy so I can stream the music through the TV. Speaking of, if you live in an apartment you'll never need a sound bar. I almost never exceed 15% volume because it's so loud, love it. You can plug in your hard drives to stream movies and it plays any format I've thrown at it so far including formats NOT supported by media player on Windows 10.

A lightening storm put me in the market for a new tv. I’ve had nothing but Samsung tv’s in the past few yrs and really have enjoy them. This one did by disappoint either. The set up was easy and the picture looks great. I paired it with the Sonos sound bar, sub, and two rear Sonos one’s and couldn’t be happier.

Bought this to replace a 3-year-old LG, whose motherboard fried despite light use. Picture-wise, the Samsung exceeds the LG by a mile - good depth of color and black levels. Easy to use features and was easy to set up the first go. Integrates well to my iPhone with SmartThings app. Very happy here.

I was in need of an upgrade from an older 1080p tv I had. Having great success with Samsung; I gave it a shot. Overall, I’m very pleased. Good sound/picture, and the internet functionality is good. Great ease of use and the ability to access all your 3rd party viewing options.

I was really only looking to upgrade my existing 50" Samsung LCD HD TV because the available HDMI ports and the set up of my home theater devices was insufficient (2-HDMI ports on the TV; four pieces of equipment). But when shopping, even though this model had been out for awhile, I was awestruck with the 4K 8-series. The colors, and especially the blacks, were phenomenal! And it didn't hurt that they had knocked $120.00 off the original price. I was sold. But once I set it up with my equipment, OH WOW. IT was especially true of the Apple TV 4K unit I had just received for Christmas. Incredible. If there was any drawback, it was just that I had to learn a new interface and menu setup with the TV, but that's true of any change you make. And while the "smart color" does take a few seconds to adjust when switching TV channels through cable, the colors are great! I would highly recommend this to anyone if you're looking for "last year's model" and are looking to save a few pennies.

My old TV had lasted a long time, so I was really impressed by the features this one had. I love the built-in apps for easy streaming. The picture quality is great, and the menus are easy to navigate. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Night and day picture difference from my old Samsung LCD to this new LED, and it cost about half as much as the old one! Great choice for a 12x15 living room. Also works with my Spectrum cable box/remote without any codes.
