Originally I purchased a 55” Sony x800g tv and it came with crappy android tv. It was 3 weeks in and started not connecting to the internet or the apps so I returned it and got this 65” Samsung RU8000. The Samsung actually has a better picture, the remote controls all my devices and the smart features are simple to operate but I still prefer the Apple TV system. The picture quality is amazing once you set it to movie mode, color to 25, sharpness to 15, and gamma to 2.2 and it will give you beautiful color. Sound...well I have a Vizio 5.1 soundbar so I’m good there and again the tv remotes also operates my soundbar. This is the first tv I had that has a truly universal remote and I love it. No issues yet but I hope it last at least 5 years since it was $882 when I got it.

Two months with this Samsung 8 Series 4K UHD TV and the love affair continues. The clarity of the picture and the ease of operation makes this 65 inch set a visual stunner! The remote control is small and easy to operate. Why go to a movie theater when you have your own video and film palace in the comfort of your own home! This smart TV has numerous Apps and of note is the ambient mode that turns it into a work-of art, displaying personal photos or stored graphic designs. The Television works with the Smart Things App and Family Hub but it does need improved updates.

not only is the quality of this television top notch but it actual exceeds expectations. The remote is of a modern minimalistic style yet very intuitive to use. Television set up was facilitated by the mobile phone app. Picture and sound are of impressive quality. We originally budgeted for a sound bar but now find we have no need for one with the quality of speakers this television has. The ease of use with all of our favorite streaming apps makes finding something to watch a pleasure. Can not recommend this television highly enough especially at this price point. One last note for gamers is the refresh rate is amazing.

I went from a 55inch 1080p standard HD Vizio to a 55inch TCL 6series 4K UHD, HDR, Dolby Vision, TV and I thought that was it can’t get any better than this for under $1000, then I wanted a 65 inch tv with a budget of $1500, I decided on the Samsung and couldn’t believe the difference in picture quality over the TCL, the smart features of the tv made navigating my audio receiver much easier, it automatically reads hdmi inputs and allows you to control input devices with the remote. I can can go on and on about how great this tv is but I’ll just sum it up, BUY IT!

This TV is great. I know people have a lot of strong feelings about modern TVs (i.e. good for gaming vs movie watching) but we were working from a 2015 Panasonic that was minimally smart and mostly dumb. This TV connects quickly to apps and I was able to download a lot of apps that weren't already loaded. We have Directv and were able to download the app to add it to the list of apps to choose from. Although we still use the Directv remote for ease, the TV remote could be used with Directv as well. The picture quality is great but our TV is near a window so have had to play around with the brightness depending on the time of day. We were between this series of TVs or the letter series Samsungs that were more pricey - I don't regret our choice.

I was shopping for a new T.V. here. I wanted something great for gaming and streaming. This Samsung 8 series is the one. I love all the features and the crisp screen with bright colors. wanted something bigger then my old 46inch Samsung. So went with a 65inch. You cant go wrong. Been buying samsung all my life and they never let me done. I would highly recommend you to get this t.v. and you cant beat the price either.

I did a ton of research before buying our latest TV. When you go to the store and you see so many options, especially the QLEDs, it can be quite overwhelming. Ultimately, it was this one or a QLED. Even though it is holiday time and there are great sales, this one is better than the QLED that was cheaper in price. It makes an old movie or program look like reality TV. I’m so happy we went with this one, with a much more reasonable price tag!

Wasn’t big on buying a Samsung but thought I’d give it a try. After 3 weeks it’s been a good TV, good picture simple to use all at a good price. I would recommend this to a friend

I recently purchased this 65" 8 series to replace my 6 series that was only two years old. At first I didn't think there was much difference but, once I made some pictures adjustments and watched something in 4k, I was sold! The blacks are deeper, colors are more vibrant, and the motion is crisp. Samsung's updated UI is also great and easy to use.

This tv works well. The picture is great and the web access To say netfix hulu etc Is a smoothe transition with no hanging up. Im pretty happy with my tv so far but wish the remote was different. A bigger more detailed remote would have been nice for this level of tv but its ok. The price 799 was a good entry point w 300 off on sale pre black friday. This year i bought my tech stuff all bestbuy like my echo show. Echo dot ring bells and bose earbuds. Buying this tv you wont go wrong Next level up in price for a 65 tv would be 1200-1500 uhd.

Fabulous picture. Tv comes with all the usual apps for neflix, amazon, hulu, youtube... and additional Apps are easy to install and use. Remote is simple and easy to use. Tv stand is stable and good quality.

It's so easy to get wrapped up with looking at the top of the line OLED TVs but know this. This TV is awesome. I've had this for 24 hours. Love the picture quality. I thought the volume would not be loud enough but is excellent. Phone app connects to arty this up and the tv menus are great. I thought this tv wouldn't be big enough but this is huge. Our living room is approximately 14x14. To safely move this tv you should have another person to assist.

Great TV over all really satisfied Picture quality is amazing very well built only negative could be a little Brighter Got it at a great price for the model The only step up would be A Q Series TV Overall pretty thin Easy to set up

Been using for almost a month and no complaints at all. Awesome TV for the price (bought when on sale for $599.99. Also includes Samsung TV Plus for free. Wouls definitely purchase again.

Great graphics, no latency for video games, awesome Samsung tv smart features. Big and beautiful as well as user friendly.

I've had it for almost a year and from my experience: Pros - amazing colors from all viewing angles, sound once tweeked is loud and full of quality, and once the refresh rate gets going it looks like you bough a more expensive tv. Cons - os is a mess and outdated, 120hz is a hit and miss for movies and gaming but it looks amazingly well when it wants to, even for a samsung device it lacks options to choose from, the app store doesn't have enough selection and you cant delete the ones that came with the tv, and last.. IT HAS ADS.

We recently purchased the 65” RU8000 and are very happy generally. Amazing picture for streaming media and 4K content for the price. Slight issues with volume and the basic remote. Otherwise very happy with our purchase.

Bought this tv to replace a 55 inch tv and turns out this tv way above what I expected,,,the picture is clear as a bell and is working flawlessly

Easy assembly and setup, excellent picture quality
