Unfortunately, even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of damage, a TV is a very fragile device and can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken. For example, if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation -- laid on its side or tilted -- during transit, internal damage could have been done.

The picture quality of this set is head and shoulders above that of the TCL. PROS *Stunning picture for $800 price point. *Able to customize Home Screen so that all of our favorite apps are the only ones available. E.g., YouTube TV, Prime Video, YouTube, Netflix, Pandora, Tunein. *Need only supplied remote to control both the TV and Audio Receiver using HDMI ARC. *No dirty grays, fuzzies, vertical bands. *No need for Roku controller. CONS *It's what you get with a curved TV: Viewing quality diminishes at angles 35-45 degrees off of center. And by "not good," I mean noticeably distracting. Probably takes some getting used to. *Without a doubt, screen susceptible to room glare, more so than any TV owned previously.
