We had been using the old TVs internal speaker for so long we refused to buy another TV with out a sound bar, as luck would have it, the old TV finally died...couldnt be happier that we got this sound bar. Cost was good but performance is way better than expected!

Great value for the price. Hooking this up to a Samsung TV is easy. Just use an HDMI cable to the TV’s ARC port. Much better sound compared to the TV speakers.

Thank you for taking a few moments to review the Samsung HW-B400F Soundbar. We value your feedback and will share it with our teams.
Use the TONE CONTROL button to adjust treble or bass levels. Select TREBLE or BASS, then use the Up/Down buttons to adjust from -6 to +6.
For more precise sound customization, press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds while in STANDARD mode. You can then fine-tune individual frequency bands (150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz) using the Left/Right buttons, with each level adjustable from -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons.
To adjust subwoofer volume, use the WOOFER button and toggle Up/Down to set the level between -6 and +6. Press down to return the subwoofer level to 0.

The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the optical cable is only 3 ft. It should've been 6 ft.
