The extra burner on top came in handy as did the separate ovens for cooking different things at different temperatures at the same time...we had 16 adults and 5 kids over for Thanksgiving...this Samsung Double Oven was a Life Saver!!!

Unpacked the stove, put everything together then saw that the top was stainless. Sending it back as it would be a nightmare to keep clean. Had to wait till Monday so I used it till then as I had no other. After dinner I used a damp sponge to wipe the top off and a dish towel to dry it. Dinner never happened. You would need a forensic investigator, ( before I get educated on the definition of forensic, please be advised that some of my culinary innovations have been referred to as "crimes against humanity".),to determine if it had been used. It also had a power burner that was WAY to hot. When I learned how it worked, it became my go to flame. Hot hot to low low and every temp in between This is not a cheep date but as I was researching stoves, this fortunately went on sale. Note that I have the slide in version, not freestanding as pictured in the ad,

Love this stove! It looks great. I use the top oven a lot to roast, bake, or broil. I love the versatility of being able to use the top oven, the two 2 ovens, or one full oven. Conserving space and energy are important to me. I still have a drawer at the bottom, and do not have to lift items out of the oven at near floor level. The range fires up instantly and evenly. The black surface hides dirt and cleans easily. The 3-piece iron grid accommodates multiple cookware of different sizes. The light bulb in the top did go out within a month. (This seems to be common.) And I wish there were two rows of flames instead of just one so broiling could be more even for bigger items.

We love our new range! The double oven is awesome. We did purchase the griddle separately, which has been great. We bought a Samsung microwave 2 years ago and this is a perfect match with our new range.

Learn from my mistake and buy an oven thermometer to check the oven temperatures immediately. Then be prepared to get nowhere fast with Samsung. I'm giving 2 stars as there are no issues with the range otherwise it would be negative stars - if that was an option. The oven is very disappointing - do not plan to bake a cake in the top oven but chicken nuggets you will be fine. Pay attention to other reviewer's comments of burning in the top oven, oven not getting to the right temperatures and oven not maintaining the correct temperature. I have experienced it too. Oven is under warranty, I've called Samsung. The technician that was sent, told me that this oven is nothing but trouble and to convert it into a single oven for best use. This is not a solution for me and I have since wasted a bunch of time with customer service and their local service center (who does not want to help). I have attached the picture of the top oven display showing 450 and the actual temperature in the oven of 400. I have never regretted buying a product or from a company this much.

Our range was delivered 6 months ago. I have refrained from reviewing it until now in order to give it a fair test. I am disappointed. First, the advertising implies the Duo Flex is the equivalent of a double oven, each with full convection. As explained to us by a repair person (called out because a burner required more adjustment than we could make) the only true convection is when you use it as a single oven. The range seems to be very poorly insulated. When you use both ovens or run the self-cleaning feature, even open doors and windows cannot keep the heat in the kitchen down to bearable levels. Because it is a 30" range, the five burners are necessarily crowded. As a result, it often is difficult to use more than two pans at one time, particularly if one is a wok or a 12" cast iron frying pan. The surface of the range is very hard to keep clean, both because it shows off every smidgeon of grease that escapes a pan and because the burner assemblies are so light that I choose to remove them rather than risk bumping them out of place and breaking the igniter. Too, the deeply depressed surface makes it difficult to get bits of food out of it. (I may invest $50 in a custom-fit mat for the range top. If I do, I'll update this to tell you how that works.) It is very light. I have not been able to use the anti-tip device to hold it in place due to the construction of our kitchen. It can take a while to learn how to open the oven door without pulling the range away from the wall, especially when opening just the upper half of the door. I ran the self-cleaning routine last night, as I went to bed. The kitchen was a dry sauna in the first hour, even with the door and windows open and the ceiling fan on. (My wife says we can simply leave the oven on and the furnace off this winter.) When my wife checked it his morning, she found that the porcelain on the bottom of the range was burned off in three areas. It should be a simple replacement but it merely confirms my belief we made a mistake buying this.

I purchase this item after visiting the store. Looks great and the t caught my eyes immediately. Love the smart features. Very easy to use and even though I have not used the ovens as yet I anticipate no problem as it seems easy enough with the settings very clear. I have used most of the burners on the stove top and I am truly pleased. It’s easy to clean as well.

Wanted a double oven forever but no wall space. Then I read about Samsung's dual gas oven and saw Best Buy had it on sale and offered free delivery and installation. I got the black stainless steel to match my LG refrigerator and Samsung OTR convection oven. Highly recommend if you want a double oven in the space of a single.

Wow! This is such a great stove and oven. I love the flexibility to use it as either 1 or 2 ovens with 2 different temperature settings. The color is great and so sleek looking.

Best range I have ever used, works perfect and can control from my phone.

Must have gas oven. Bottom heats up fast. Trying to get used to convection. Sharp!

Very disappointed. Purchased this in black stainless steel thinking it was premium product (paid more) only to have black finish to start peeling in less then 2 years. I have only used approved cleaner recommended by BB sales team when I purchased this stove, refrigerator and microwave. When wiping down with cleaner and terry cloth towel the finish started peeling. I also bought extended warranty and BB will not cover fixing. I can understand if this was caused by damage due to misuse or accident but this is happening due to standard cleaning. When I called out service tech he stated this is not uncommon for Samsung. Needless to say I’ll be buying all LG from now on.

So we got our new a Samsung 5.8 cu. ft. Freestanding Gas Range with 16K and 15K BTU Power Burners w/Flex Duo™ dual doors and WiFi. It has 5 burners, two of which are power burners and one for simmering. The dual ovens are going to come in handy when the kids start baking and for those home made pizzas I make. So far so good, water boils within a couple of minutes, and the burners cook very evenly, much better then our old stove. I just bought all the ingredients for making my pizzas. Being part of the “Smart Things” when I preheat the oven, it tells me it’s ready on the fridge, phones and TV. It will also notify you when your timer is done and you can choose to turn off the oven or keep it going for a little longer. It seemed like the house did not get as hot when cooking with this oven. The burners are placed just far enough for you to use all at once but we really like having a center one. Sometimes frying food you feel that the ones in the back might splash oil and the ones in the front is too close to you, the the middle one has that perfect placement. This is by far the best stove/oven we have owned.

this generally does the minimal needed for a stove and oven, and I love the option to split the oven into two bake areas but frequently it does not seem to reach the appropriate temperature, though it reads as being where it should be. timed meals that required meat to be at specific temperatures ALWAYS took much longer than anticipated. I have also had repeated issues with the touch screen. This was a replacement for a similar Samsung model that ALSO had a touchscreen issue that prevented us from taking it out of demo mode- which meant we were never able to bake in it. We will not be going with the same style of oven.

I was excited to review this duo flex oven. There's a divider inside the oven that keeps the set temperature on both sides of the oven. You can cook two things at different temperatures at the same time. You can cook your dinner and dessert at the same time. The wifi connection let's you set controls on your phone via the smart things app. It also sends notifications to your Samsung TV to let you know when your oven is preheated and when your food is cooked. There's two timers for both separate ones. And yes you can use the full oven for bigger jobs. The top gas burners have 15k BTUs and 16k BTUs for everything you want to cook from boiling to searing. Samsung has set the bar with this oven.  

Because I have only had the range for only 8 days, I don’t feel that I can give an accurate overall review of this product. However, the range is really pretty. I love the large cooking grates, as well as, the variety of burners. I especially like the center burner- I bought a reversible grill to use for cooking pancakes, eggs and bacon and steaks. The addition of that grill really boosted the versatility of the range. I find the duo/ flex ovens a great feature and I am looking forward to using that feature for the holiday meals and I am hoping that they work flawlessly. The range seems very well built- oven doors, latches, grates and knobs - and made of good quality metals. I like the digital display- very easy to see and all settings are easy to change or set. My only complaint is that the operations manual is online - I hate that! I like to be able to thumb through a physical paper manual when I need to find an answer for a setting or a problem.
