My last cell got damaged beyond repair and I was put into a position to get a new phone. After reviewing many I choose this phone. The transition was easy, all my apps and pics transferred easily and this phone is fantastic! It fits easily in my pocket, operates fast when web searching or watching videos and calls connect quickly are the audio is clear. The phone has 3 cameras and it takes great photos. I would recommend this phone if you are looking for a new easy to use phone that checks off all the needed boxes.

There is not one thing about this phone that makes me regret having made the choice to upgrade to it. I have a very tough time with the very idea of paying $1000+ for a phone -- that just wasn't going to happen. But my old phone's battery life was nonexistent, and a new phone was needed right away. My lightning-speed online research on phones under $500 that were in stock and didn't look/feel basic led me to the Samsung Galaxy A50, and I don't regret it. I like the look and feel, and getting used to a larger (but somehow lighter?) phone was an easy transition. So far the battery life blows away every other phone I've owned, and the two Best Buy associates who worked together to transfer everything over from the old phone (which kept trying to shut down, plus didn't have a removable SIM card) to the Galaxy A50 were amazing. Thanks! I did have to buy extra USB C cords to have charging capabilities at home/work/in two cars, since the old phone used different hardware, but that is so minor as to not matter at all...

I replaced my old LG phone with this Galaxy A50. It has a larger screen, a slim fit in my hand, a great camera with multiple features, and with a few differences to learn about (I'm not a technological genius) was not difficult to get used to. The screen is clear and easy to read, and unlike my previous phone that had the on/off and volume buttons on the back, these are on the right side, and are very easy to access. With twice the internal storage space and increased micro SD card capacity, I have planty of storage space for apps, docs and photos. Without a high end phone price, it feels like a high end phone. I made a great choice!

I really love my new Samsung. It connects very well with my various bluetooth devices (i.e. Garmin's watch) the camera is excellent and it charges in less than 2 hours. Not only does it charge quickly, it holds a charge for 2-3 days in between charges. I highly recommend thg his phone.

The A50 is a nice phone. I was used to using a higher end model so I was a little let down with this. It's speed is decent, battery life is decent and build quality is decent. If you want a mid range phone that's not too expensive, its a great phone.

bought this phone because my 5yr old phone died. call quality is good. no lost calls, calls are clear. texts go through. still figuring out what everything does. only had it two weeks so far. is a good mid priced phone. paid $350 at best buy. stopped at verizon store. they only wanted to sell me the $1000 phones. told them that was stupid to pay that much for a phone and left. they had the A50 at the verizion store, but they didnt seem to want to show me that one. would recommend this phone. its not to heavy the screen is very clear, takes good pictures. the back of the case is very slippery. bought a rubber cover from a different verizon store because best buy was sold out of cases for A50.

I've had this phone for a couple of weeks and I love it. It is easy to use, has a larger screen and the camera is great.

This is the best Samsung phone I have had. The battery is long lasting and the pictures are really sharp.

The Samsung Galaxy A50 only became available in the U.S. for a little over a week before we bought it. Typically we like to read reviews of other customers before purchasing a product but with our good history of having Samsung phones we decided to dive on in. The A50 takes very nice pictures and holds charge for quite a while and is very responsive to other tasks. For a budget phone Samsung has given a very nice option to the more expensive phones on the market.

Got this phone as my teenagers first smartphone and its almost nicer than my own. Price was amazingly low and yet it compares tremendously to my $1000 phone.

The unit is exactly what you expect from Samsung - good, solid, build quality - but, when compared to others, this where the bang-for-buck is! The specs are in line with high priced units (screen size, ram, CPU, etc) without the higher price. Definitely a good phone for those who want one to last a few years without spending a car payment.

It has what more expensive phones have for a great price !! Battery last all day! I had Note 4 for 3 years and thought I needed another Note but I never used the pen it came with! In general it's a great phone for the $ works great!!

We got this for my husband who is old school and fighting technology. This is an Upgade from flip phone and he loves it! Very clear screen and easy to read. It is a great phone for the price... can't go wrong with this phone!

Cheap, large well rounded phone! With a good screen, nice battery, decent features, really cant go wrong here. For moderate usage its a good all around phone to have.

This smart handset provides everything that was needed and similar to the Galaxy S7. Since my wife does not need the more intense business applications this smart handset was a great replacement upgrade that matches her needs, based on how she used the S7 with no loss of performance or need to relearn.

This is a good phone for the price. The call quality is great. It has a nice screen fro videos and the speakers have good audio volume and clarity. It runs Android 9.0 which is great. My only problem is that I haven't yet figured out how to screenshot, which I am sure I will learn eventually. Really, the only thing that I ran into was that apparently if you press one of the volume buttons and the power button at the same time it enters into a download mode for a custom os, you can exit that mode, but its a pain. So yeah, don't do that.

Good camera, easy to personalize. Very happy with this phone.
