I purchased this cell phone after checking out the reviews and the Consumer Report ratings, which placed this phone above the Samsung S6 and the iPhone 6S. I am happy with my purchase. The S5 comes with so many features that I had to download the User Manual and use the book 'Samsung Galaxy S5 for Dummies' to learn how to use the phone to its full potential. I'm amazed at all the features and benefits this phone offers. I would have given the phone 5 stars, but I had to return the first phone I received from Best Buy. The process was smooth. Best Buy immediately sent me another new phone. The first phone was defective. It would turn on by itself and drain the battery in just a few hours. If you decide to buy one, remember you have a window of 15 days to return the phone if you are not an Elite member! If it's not working properly don't hesitate. Search the problem on the web. Having said this, I think the phone is great. It's a value purchase. As a matter of fact, I'm buying another one for my husband.

I got this phone after dropping my last phone in the bathtub (I dont recommend doing that BTW). I got the GOLD color (for some reason it was less money) , I LOVE it. I drop things a lot so I got a nice hard cover for it. This phone was the same as my last phone (purchased elsewhere) however this one is all around faster. It's a really great phone, nice size, easy to use.

this phone is a great deal at $349.99. we have AT&T so it is perfect. it is an unlocked phone and works perfectly with AT&T as it is the AT&T model SMG920A. we tested it out to make sure it was unlocked by putting in an active T-Mobile sim card we borrowed from a friend. it worked just fine. so it will be fine to use overseas. we plan on getting another one again

I love the Samsung Galaxy5. What I did not like was that it was an AT&T phone that was capable of using a sim from T-Mobile. The back of the phone has the AT&T logo and the software has apps from the company as well. It's slightly annoying to have those apps when I am on a different network but what can I do besides rooting? Nothing really. But if you are not one for the small details, those apps can be disabled and hidden from the users

Run smoothly, no issue so far, great camera. Run faster than s4. Got update Android 5.

I did my homework on different phones and carriers for weeks trying to make the right choice. I finally decided to upgrade to the galaxy S5 vs the galaxy s6 or edge. I got the best price at Best Buy. I am truly excited and happy with the choice I made. I recommended this phone to my niece and she is just as satisfied.

I'm really digging this phone, the battery life goes on for days! Having an unlocked phone is great for travel outside the country. Love having the large screen, yet the phone easily fits in my front jeans pocket. Very easy, intuitive phone to use!

I was an iPhone 4 user for many years. Decided to try the Galaxy s5 because I wanted a bigger screen and didn't want to spend $650. I bought the phone outright at the time the Galaxy s6 came out so it was at a reasonable price. I have it about a month now and like it. It has many more settings, features and apps than the iPhone 4. It takes awhile to become familiar with the Galaxy, but being a computer literate person, I don't find this a problem. Best Buy offers workshops for beginners to become familiar with their new phone. Also, I'm able to go to the store to ask the Samsung person questions and they have been very helpful.

I ordered a Galaxy S5 unlocked from Bestbuy.com for a decent price of $500 which is something I could afford. I paid express shipping. I received the phone in 3 days. It came as New In Box but had 2 defects: There was a scratch on the top bezel and the finger print scanner wouldn't work. I called Bestbuy.com to ask for an exchange. The customer rep. directed me to return the phone to a local store in order to do the exchange that way, I'll receive my replacement phone quickly. I did just that. The phone shipped out within a few days. I was told I should be getting a tracking number in my email, shortly. However, the express shipping I paid with the original order won't be applied. Fine, I'll just ask for the refund of my express shipping after I receive the replacement phone. I waited for a few days but no tracking was sent to my email. I finally called Bestbuy.com to obtain the tracking number. The rep, to my surprise told me the phone was delivered a day before. WHAT???!!! I did not receive the phone! So I asked to verify the shipping address. Oh, guess what?! The phone was shipped to my OLD address!!!!!!!!! WHAT???!!! Who was stupid enough to ship the phone to my old address when I updated my current address and had the invoice for the replacement in my hand showing it was going to be sent to my current address! I think the rep. at my local Bestbuy store screwed up and entered the wrong address. To be fair, I was being a bit hard on her because I was so upset my NIB phone came with defects... Anyhow, so the Bestbuy.com rep. told me they are going to open an investigation with USPS to find out what's going on. So I ended up calling USPS to see what happened? They told me they delivered the phone to the address that was on the invoice so from their end, they've done everything right to get the delivery on time. So they couldn't do anything for me. So, I called Bestbuy.com again to update them with what I've gathered. However, they said they would have to follow up with USPS themselves to determine the outcome...Ok, so I guess I'll go knock on the door of my old address. I arrived at my old address, knocked on the door. No answer. I went to my old neighbor's house to try to get some information about the current resident. He told me they seem kinda shady like if they were to receive the phone, they look like they would keep it and/or sell it on the streets. Hmmm, ok, so this was a dead end. Anyhow, I'll spare you guys with all the details and get right to the chase. I waited for 13 days and called Bestbuy.com again to get an update. This time, I spoke to a rep. by the name of Keith. He was very helpful. After speaking to him for about 30 minutes, he informed me their "back office" who handles investigations and blah blah didn't even follow up on my case and I waited for 13 days for nothing and on top of that, the rep. from the back office knew he screwed up so after putting Keith on hold for 10 minutes, he simply hung up on him! But Keith ensured me he is going to make this right. In the end, he was able to get the authorization for Bestbuy.com to send me a replacement phone. What a guy! Somebody give him a rise! Are you reading this, BESTBUY???!!! Also, on top of sending me the replacement phone, Keith is going to send me a $50 gift card for all of my trouble!!! What a guy! So, after a week later, I received a working replacement with no defects! Finally! So, after after 1.5 month of me ordering the phone, I have my working S5...Had I known it was going to come to this, I would have looked else where! But thanks to Keith's valiant efforts, I'm now a satisfied customer! Thanks again, Keith.

When I received my Galaxy S5, I thought it was a refurbished one because it had a protection film on the screen, which I didn't expect. Also, I though it was a little strange to find AT&T logo on the back of the phone since I ordered factory unlocked phone. So, I brought it back and talked to a store manager at Best Buy. He was very positive and saying that it was a brand new unlocked phone but I decided to order another one in the same model to replace it. It was nice of him to allow me to use the original phone while I was waiting for the new one to arrive. When I received the new phone, there was a sheet protector on the screen just like the original but there was no AT&T logo on the back. I decided to keep the original phone since I didn't want to go through the same process of transferring data and installing apps all over again. Also, more importantly, the phone was working just fine. I have been using my Galaxy S5 for over a month and I have no complaints. Yes, I like it so far. I would say it is a great phone.

Provides all the features I needed, including ability to use it with the Square credit card device and with Consumer Cellular service. Easy to use for texting and talking. Voices are very clear on phone calls, also.

I really like the phone and also for the price so I like to buy a lot in best buy thank you very much.

I got this to upgrade my smartphone with tracfone, as part of their bring your own phone program. I got this mainly for streaming video, and this phone does that very nicely. Wi-Fi reception is actually better than my old lg optimus tracfone, due to a much better antenna. This phone runs on AT&T network with tracfone, which is a step down from the 3 system network that actual track phones utilize semicolon but this does not seem to have a negative impact on reception in the Philadelphia area. Sound quality of the speaker is not very good, and had difficulty setting up multimedia messaging with this phone through tracfone. Solid 4 stars.

The price is The best Samsung galaxi is magnificent

I have had other androids and an apple iphone but this is by far the best. Easy interfaces, great screen resolution...meets all of my expectations. I waffled between this and the S6...while I love the upscale look of the S6, the fact that I can't change the battery nor put an SD card into that one sealed the deal for my S5...$200 cheaper too.

Bougth this phone for my mother and it was perfect. Easy to use, good size of the screen and has all the features needed for a 70 years old person who just want to exprerience smartphones

Price quality this phone is a real bargain. It does everything I need and more, takes great pictures with its 16Mbps camera , the battery could eventually be replaced and it takes an SD card for extra storage. I tried it with a foreign Sim card and it works perfectly. In conclusion I am very happy with this phone and I highly recommend it

The phone arrived in its original IME coded box with new ear buds, new guide with completely refurbished unit including all clear stickers to protect it and a new battery 88% charged. Everything was in separate sealed clear bags including a thicker more efficient USB charger in the box. I just stop at the Att store last Saturday to finally upgrade from my GS3. Nathan, the store Rep has a GS5 as well which made it super easy to transfer everything not just names and numbers. Plus he gave me great advice to purchase 2 additional items he uses. One is a glass screen cover, and the 2nd is a Max extend battery cover. Both purchased online for reasonable prices. I've been playing with it all week with no troubles other than my thumb keeps missing the space bar, period or comma on the keyboard for I have no idea. Just have to keep getting used to it. Overall very Happy with BB purchase. Other than that, been with Att since 99. Changed to prepaid a few years back, and was able to keep the same number with unlimited Talk,Text, 8gb on 4LTE Internet each month with rollover at the same price $55.00 total out the door every month. No activation fee. Hope this helps someone else as this is the last model to remove the battery and is water resistent so NSA can take a hike when batt out of phone

Bought this phone as a replacement for her S3 mini. She is loving every bit of it - size, feel, looks etc.
