    Samsung S6 Rocks

The S6 is packed with great features. I haven't discovered all of them yet. I went from a Galaxy III to an S6, so that's a pretty big jump. First thing is how much clearer and sharper the screen images are. I love the fact I can lock my phone using my fingerprint. The camera is phenomenal, and has a wide selfie mode. Not sure the family likes that one. LOL It's also voice activated, has burst mode so my Granddaughter can take a "burst" of 30 pictures of me doing something embarrassing. Another big plus is I can actually hear this one ring! It's loud enough. I also like the fact I can adjust how big the text is so it's easier for me to read. Packed with tons of features and apps. The phone is really easy to use and set up. It does not have an SD card slot. I bought the 32GB phone so hopefully this will not be an issue. You also cannot remove the battery in this phone, so if the battery ever won't stay charged then you will have to buy a new phone. This one I will figure out in time. It comes with a "quick charge" wall plug and boy does it charge it up fast. Seems to stay charged up well during the day, but I don't rely heavily on the phone much. Was it worth it? You betcha. You won't be disappointed with the Samsung S6. I plan on keeping mine for the next 4 to 6 years if it's anything like my previous Samsung phones.

    Great phone, no issues

I have no issues with this phone at all! I upgraded from a galaxy s3, and my battery life was utterly terrible and the performance was super slow. This phone performs everything I want in a relatively fast manner, and can charge decently fast, too, with the included charger. It will still charge on older cables, but will charge much more slowly (who cares if it's over night?) I am a petite person, and i wanted to make sure the phone would still fit in my back pocket. Phones certainly aren't getting any smaller, and this phone still fits, so I was glad about that. I'm not sure if I am missing something, but my old phone had a feature to turn off alarms by saying "stop" and I can't be certain this phone does that. I may have missed it somewhere, if it doesn't have it, I do miss that. I had no reason to spend more money and get the galaxy s6 edge when it has the same specs.

I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S3, so this was going to be a fantastic phone almost no matter what. I am a bit disappointed in the battery life, but the quick charger adapter takes away the sting of losing battery, and while it needs to be plugged in every night, I am a heavy user, so that's not so surprising. Resolution is great, camera is GREAT, the new (to me ) button that shows all open programs is great, and S Memo is a really nice Evernote-ish app that comes pre-loaded and is actually useful. Still a bit of bloatware with the radio apps I will never use, but they're not as noticeable (I once had a phone come pre-loaded with BLOCKBUSTER, so pretty much anything is better). The dual-app function is handy, but hopefully will expand in the future to include more apps- the library seems rather limited now.

    Can't Go Wrong with Samsung

I've been very impressed with Samsung cell phones in general. The Galaxy S6 is no disappointment. I believe I made a good economical choice by not giving into the hype surrounding the edge since I've found they're pretty much the same. The good: screens that can pop-out while browsing make it easy to multi task and take care of business without pushing the back button or closing apps an re-opening. The talk to text actually understand what I'm saying and THANK YOU for putting text prediction back to where all you have to do is push enter when the word turns blue. Everything is super easy to use. The text experience is much better with the messaging plus app. Love how it saves the pictures you've sent in a different column and the eGift, what a great idea in addition to Glimpse. Cons: Without a case, the phone is slippery and attracts way too many fingerprints. I added a simple back case and it works perfectly and actually enhances the phone. The camera...it's a bit frustrating because it seems that it should be a great camera, but I'm having trouble with pictures constantly coming out blurry (this may be user error). I will continue to look at forums to figure out the camera situation. However, it's been so bad that I've been using my older S4 to take pictures :-( Overall, a great phone. It's always good to Youtube search "tips & tricks" for Galaxy S6 so that you can find out just how much the phone can do.

-Design/Build Quality - 6/5 stars -Camera - 6/5 stars -WiFi Connection - 0/5 stars -Battery Life - 2/5 stars -QI Wireless Charging 4/5 stars WiFi connection was terrible - and ultimately led to me dumping this phone - I was eating up all of my data because I couldn't connect to WiFi at work, and occasionally at home, yes I tested both with my iPhone, note 4, and wife's LG G3. WiFi worked fine on all other devices. Camera and Build Quality - simply amazing - wont find a better camera on the market - and the build quality of this phone in my opinion is the first to rival the iPhone - which has beat every other device to date - in my opinion. If they release a patch for the WiFi and find a way to optimize the battery life - this phone is great - if they would have made it water resistant like the S5 this would have been the best phone ever. At the end of the day if you cant connect to the internet or use it cause the battery dies - what good is a great camera???

This phone is great in every way possible. The camera is phenomenal. Both front and back cameras take beautiful, HD pictures. The camera can even take slow-motion videos and panorama shots. Additionally, the phone has so many great features such as Android beaming that allows you to easily transfer files to other compatible devices. Overall, this phone is fast, reliable, beautifully designed, and simply an amazing phone. I was previously team Apple but I am so happy to have switched! You won't regret buying this phone!

    Best phone I have had

The S6 might be the best phone i have had. I replaced a Samsung Note 3 which I really liked. I was a little concerned about going back to a smaller phone after the Note 3. But, since using the S6, I have not missed my Note 3 at all. The screen on the S6 is nothing short of spectacular. The phone is fast and the Lollipop operating system is smooth and seamless. There are plenty of ways to personalize this phone and to save on battery life, which might be the one draw back. Depending on what I am doing, I get all day out of my phone, but heavy screen use may put me in the 15-20% charge remaining by bed time. Overall this is a terrific phone!

Stuck with Samsung as I had a good experience with the S3 and the S6 does not disappoint. Better quality materials and overall build quality, Better sharper screen, and faster processing. The battery and memory are not removable but I never came close to filling up my S3 16 GBP and the battery on the old phone is still strong 2 1/2 years out. So these changes to the S6 were not a deal breaker considering the extra build quality. The Qi wireless charging is a fantastic feature in my opinion.

I really like this phone, and the camera is great! It would have been perfect for me if there were just a few minor changes. -The glass back seems like a really bad idea to me. I prefer non-slippery backs. -Not having a removable battery makes owning the phone long term harder as you can't just replace the battery when it stops holding a charge. -No SD Card slot isn't a huge issue, but it seems like it should be available. Other that those things I love the phone. It's fast, the camera is great, and the screen is probably one of the best I've ever had!

Fast phone with nice battery life and takes nice pictures. Downside is there is not any expandable memory slot and the battery is not removeable. The problem with batteries is they will start to loose their useful life between 1-2 years. With past models, I could just buy another battery and it would be good to go. Replacing now will not be that easy. Not having an external memory slot may save on processing power witch may help extend the battery power between charges. But for people that load movies , lots of videos or pictures, this limits the phone. If they can add these two feature back to the next model, it would get 5 stars.

Well it finally arrived. The glistening gold Galaxy S6 I have been waiting for. The screen is impressive and it seems to be very fast. Battery life is mess than I expected but the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 will charge it very very fast.

This is my first Samsung phone and so far i love it, it's fast, takes great pictures and video at 4khd, fast internet browsing, and no lag what's ever, however the battery is a bit of a problem it discharges too fast so I always have to turn off my data and WiFi whenever I don't use the internet it's good if you buy a case battery so you can charge the phone without the cable which is convenient other than the s6 is the perfect and best android phone to have.

So far, after about 5 days, I am somewhat disappointed with the Galaxy S6. The battery life sucks compared to the Note 2 I am switching from. It is very laggy and definitely not "snappy" as per the many claims. Sometimes it must be restarted to be able to use it as the fingerprint unlock and alternate keyboard unlock do not work and the phone blacks out after 3 seconds. Only 32GB available onboard and I have the over half-way filled at this point and no way to expand it with a sealed phone. The fingerprint scanner is fair, but useless while driving. Hard to navigate or find previously easy to use settings. Notifications are frustrating since they all are OFF out of the box. As a somewhat power user, I wish I had opted for the Note 4/Edge instead of settling for the S6. The few Pros I can offer are the following... 1. The screen and clarity is amazing 2. The pictures and videos are equally amazing 3. Smaller and lighter than the Note series 4. Interesting new features, although I have not had time to fully explore them. There are better options available if you can afford them... ie- Galaxy Note series!

I stepped up from the LG G2 (great phone) but the S6 really takes the cake. I treated myself to the gold color, and I really love it...the screen is unbeatable. It's luscious and vibrant. I have a glass protector and the touch screen hesitates every once in a while but I don't believe that's the phone's fault. For hardcore usage, beware the battery drains quickly. However, the fast charger is mint and literally charges within an hour.

I picked up the Samsung Galaxy S6 because the camera of the S5 was purely incredible to me. I LOVE digital photography and I couldn't express how well the camera on this phone performs. EVERY SINGLE FRIEND that has seen the capabilities of the S6 simply gushes about how clear the camera is. The display on the phone is incredible too, so there's no reason to avoid this if you are like me and are SOLD on photography merits alone! I also love how fast the S6 boots up and allows me to use multiple apps at once. I am an AVID comic book collector and I am in love with being able to have a list creation program open along with a reference list of available comics in a series so i don't have to switch back and forth. The audio is great, although only output through 1 speaker at the bottom of the phone. Holding the phone naturally creates a cup around the speaker which adds some natural amplification beyond what the phone is outputting. I am more than satisfied with this phone if you couldn't tell :)
