Customers are delighted by the Galaxy S6's camera quality, ease of use, and screen size. Many also appreciate its design and the range of features offered. However, some users express dissatisfaction with the battery life. The lack of expandable memory and the absence of water resistance are also frequently cited drawbacks.

Been a few months since I have had the S6 and I'm loving it. Its a solid phone with a great camera and beastly specs. The one weakness it has it the battery life. It lasts almost a full day with light to medium use, but if you're a heavy user like me then battery life will be a small issue. The quick charge helps alleviate some of that issue though.

I love my new Samsung Galaxy S6! Its fast, easy to use and takes excellent pictures! I was a Galaxy S5 user and liked my phone, but after a while, the phone would get hot and the battery would drain quickly! Now, with the Galaxy S6, no more battery!! The battery life is awesome! It can go all day on a single charge! Makes my life so much easier, since I use my phone for a variety of uses! I am so pleased with my new phone!

I had a Galaxy S3 before this. I was irritated because it was soooOOOOOO slow. The screen was a bit outdated and yahoo email used to freeze frequently. After I bought this, I only have positive things to say. I don't put too many songs on the phone so 32Gb is fine. It's a little slimmer than the S3 and much faster. This phone is definitely worth the upgrade from a S3, from a S4 probably worth it, S5, probably not.

I've waited on writing a review for the Galaxy Note 5 for quite a while to make sure it withstood the rigors I take my mobile phones through. I've owned this since early January 2016, and I have to say. This phone does it all. Great pictures whether you are near or far, great detail and can even print out to large clear photos when paired with a photo printer. The call quality I get is great (Verizon) and you can even opt in for the HD calling for free. The storage amount is great for multiple photos/videos/apps, whatever you want. The processing speed is very handy as this phone is wicked fast. At some point you'll feel it bog down in speed if you are using it in direct heat, but the phone notices this and will automatically shut down if it overheats. Preventing damage to the processor and battery. Overall this is a great phone, and when paired with the Samsung Oculus VR, its a great experience!

This review is after about a month of use. This was a gift and the users' 1st smart phone. She found the the phone is easy to use. Many of the features are intuitive and did not require going to a a manual or the internet to learn. She really likes the size of the screen and the whole phone. It is easy to read without changing the font. It is easy to zoom in and out. However, the battery doesn't last a full day for this user.

This is my third Samsung Galaxy Phone. Each one gets better and better. To be valid though, the BETTER is mostly in the Operating System. As far as the phone hardware goes, this one is kind of a battery hog. The camera is incredible. I love the larger screen. My next phone in 2 years will probably be whatever the current Samsung Galaxy phone is. Apple was smart to try and duplicate the Samsung Galaxy line.

Shows Improvement to the Galaxy Line

I upgraded from an S4.
The metal chassis, camera and newest Galaxy UI are all worlds better and show a marked improvement in quality and design from their older phones. The newest Android while still not the smoothest is much better and modern, including full bluetooth 4.0 support (yay Kevo locks).
Cons:
- The glass back is possibly the most annoying phone design I have ever encountered. This phone will slide off of anything not completely flat. It is also exceedingly slippery to hold. But it looks so fancy.
- the samsung keyboard is not the greatest. it randomly adds letters to words, and the button layout can be really annoying, hitting period and the voice entry key constantly.
- the existing issue with the phone in-call screen flickering persists
- Android OS is still buggy but getting better and better.
- Verizon continues to add useless bloatware to all their phones but at least you can turn a lot of it off now. Still terrible practice though and shows lack of class.
Overall: great phone and still better than an iPhone.

It's a nice phone that works well. Great looking screen, a really good camera and some nice Samsung software. I like that the phone has wireless charging built in. I haven't had any freezing or lock up problems. Battery life is only so-so and the phone has a tendency to turn on in my pocket. My previous phone was a LG G3 and I much prefer the power button on the back.

Bought this phone for my wife and I to replace our S3s and we couldn't be happier. Awesome camera works in all lighting and, as a parent of a small child, the quick launch for the camera is AWESOME for quickly catching important moments.
Lightening fast processing and tons of fun features including wireless charging.
If you need an upgrade, look no further.

I recently upgraded to the S6 from an S3, and I am so pleased! This phone is sleek, beautiful, and fast! From a tech point of view, the camera is amazing, the screen resolution is wonderful, and the ultra power saving mode is a life saver (I had 10% battery left and using this function gave me 4.5 HOURS of extra life!!).
Definitely a purchase worth making!

This phone does everything I need and fast. The camera is great, super easy to use. It charges much faster than my old S5. I also like that the memory is not on a card because with the older S5 you couldn't transfer all of your data to the card, so it really limited the memory you could use for things other than music and pictures.

I bought this phone a little more than a month ago. Overall I like the phone, the video quality is great. The speed is extremely fast. The battery life seems to be a little disheartening. Also, the phone gets really hot really fast. No matter what im doing on the phone, if i use it for around 5-10 minutes straight the phone gets almost to hot to hold. I switched to this phone from a Samsung Galaxy S4. I have to say that the S4 is hands down the best phone I have ever used. It just seemed to out do any phone I've seen and had. Though I am glad I switched to the S6, there are plenty of things new on the S6 that are just incredible. I miss being able to put my own battery and SIM cards in the phone to increase battery life and memory space. Though this review seems more negative than positive, i love the S6 and would recommend it to anyone that would be questioning wether or not to get one. I give this a 4 1/2 out of 5, my only negative being the battery life, and the temperature.

I love this phone. I went from the Galaxy S3 to the new S6. The camera quality is vastly improved. The browsing on the internet is faster. The phone is just a little bit bigger but makes a huge difference with the screen when viewing pictures and videos. I just wish the battery lasted longer by even another two hours.

Purchased phone for teenage son. He loves it. It works exceedingly well and is easy to use. It accesses the web fast! Loading apps is easy and fast. He doesn't play games on it and uses it to access the internet, text, make calls obviously and uses it as his camera. These features are excellent on this phone.

My wife enjoyed the upgrade of the Samsung S6 from the Samsung S5. She loves the faster processor and it is thinner. I am not sure about the non removable battery like in the Samsung S5. Hopefully, I will not have to do a hard shut down. It works great and the upgrade was quick at Best Buy Mall outlet.

I ended up switching from the color black to white, but other than that it is a great phone. Battery definitely doesn't last as long as say the S6 Active, or S6plus, but it lasts longer than my previous Stratosphere2. I love how fast it is, it doesn't lag or freeze, and the camera is amazing.

I had an iPhone 4 that was a hand me down from my parents, yeah, I know. Anyway, I was eligible for an upgrade through Verizon. I was torn between the iPhone 6 and the Galaxy. Hubby went for the iPhone 6+, and it's way too big. I'm one that likes change, and I was a bit bored with the iPhone, so I went Galaxy. Love this phone! Learning more and more about it everyday. Yesterday I discovered that I can get my workplace website on it, in case I need to check email. Bonus! My fitbit can link up right to it through Bluetooth. Another bonus! (not sure if I can do this with the iPhone but with the Galaxy, totally). Great camera and fast phone!
The best part of this phone is that I also got a $100 gift card from Best Buy. I love Apple computers, so I'm saving all my little certs up for a MacBook. I know, why didn't I get the iPhone if I love Apple computers? No reason. I was just bored with the iPhone and wanted a change. I love the Samsung and glad I went with it.

Great battery life, great camera. Easy to use (thank you, YouTube!) once some basics are figured out. I'm not a total tecchie and I have no trouble using it. I like the size, not a phablet but big enough to see the screen without straining. All in all I like it a lot.
