I've had this keyboard book Cover for my Tab S7 for a few months now. I really love the look of the case, and I really enjoy that this case allows you to take off the keyboard and still be able to use the back cover with its kickstand. It definitely makes using the tablet in different ways very easy, and in my experience I love how easy it is to go from pseudo-laptop in DeX mode to content consumption beast at the removal of the keyboard attachment. From my usage, I have two main complaints. The first is the price. I got my cover on sale for $100 which I think was fair, but the default price on this is $200 and I think that's much too high for a case like this, even though I do like the product. My only other complaint is that this case offers nearly no protection. This case does cover the screen, but with the keyboard half coming off so easily, I wouldn't trust it with protecting my screen. Not to mention, the sides of the device are completely exposed with this cover, so a nasty drop onto the sides would be an issue. However, I have no problem recommending this cover for those that want the versatility of having a full keyboard and trackpad and also take good care of their devices. If you're prone to accidental dropping or other unfortunate events, I think you're better off buying a more sturdy case + Bluetooth peripherals.

Decent solution but offers little side protection

It's a great handy Samsung made keyboard book cover. Keep in mind though it's definitely just a cover and not a case. The Keyboard is held in by magnets on the bottom (similar to how the Surface Pro keyboard locks in) and the back is a single-piece magnetic cover. I notice the screen will slide around on the keyboard a little, not a lot but I've had at least one scare. It's my meeting and travel keyboard for when I don't want to store a separate Bluetooth one. Overall it's a decent solution that has a great OEM fit and feel but it doesn't offer a ton of protection. I really wish the keyboard had LEDs for night-time typing but other than that it works. I'm not as fond about other case/keyboard combos so this works good enough. Pros: * Great articulation with the back case cover * Good sized portable keyboard with touchpad for on-the-go-use * Typing is decent enough on the keyboard * Storage spot for the sPen on the magnetic charger * Bump that covers the sPen gives it the perfect angle for quick notes Cons: * Offers no side protection * Not very stable on your lap (my complaint with the Surface Pro also) * Keyboard slides around with the screen a little, could cause you to drop it. * No LEDs in the keyboard, hard to see at night.

I have been eying this keyboard case since I purchased the Tab S7, but didn’t want to spend $150 for it. Thankfully, it was on sale for $99 and I knew I needed to pick it up immediately. This keyboard case has amazing quality. The key travel, albeit short, is still really good for my small hands. The keys feel really good taping on them, and it doesn’t feel cheap at all. The touchpad feels great and smooth, very responsive. The one aspect I really enjoy is the magnet attachment: it breaks down to the magnet back piece with the kick stand and the keyboard. I enjoy detaching the keyboard and hold the S7 with the magnet back piece still connected as it allows better grip when I hold it. Also, the back piece magnet really holds it well. It is way better compared to the Tab S6 one where you had to use adhesive to connect the back piece. The kick stand is very much like the Surface line and can be adjusted on any table/desk. Added feature is the flap that hides your S-pen allowing it to charge at the same time without fear of losing it. The only drawback: awkward when you try using it on your lap. That kickstand just feels awkward to use wand it doesn’t raise up like the Surfaces. Overall, the best keyboard case out there if you want to keep it slim enough. I feel that I am a label snob because I felt that if you’re spending over $600 for a tablet, might as well get the official matching case. The third party ones online are cheap and does not have the same build quality. I trust that Samsung’s cases will indeed protect my device and it was on sale too!

Just what I wanted. Keyboard is easy to use. The built-in adjustable stand is good for various angles. I like the stylus storage area. It comes in two sections, the keyboard and the top cover. The strong magnetic edge bonds the two sections. I have not had any issues with it seperating. It looks good, folds up nicely and you can tuck it in your carry bag, briefcase or handbag. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Good quality cover overall. Imitation leather finish feels high quality for the price and the fit and finish of the keyboard side is textured nicely. As far as critique, the trackpad could be bigger(Yes even side to side for gesture navigation), and some QC with the keycaps could be improved, as some of them are not very well stabilized and my left arrow key came lopsided. A major way to improve this product woul be to increase the polling rate and input latency of the trackpad. The tablet this cover is meant for has a 120Hz screen refresh rate and the responsiveness of the trackpad feels like well half of that, usure if it is a limitation of the interface or OS, but it really takes away from the Dex 'laptop' experience.

Super neat accessory to add to the Tab. I like how the keyboard is inactive when its flipped behind the tab; eliminates the unwanted pressing of keys which is excellent.

Love this cover with the keypboard. Great protection for the tablet and having the keyboard built in is nice. I love the way the keypad can be taken off and put back on in seconds. The stand on the back of the cover offers multiple positions of the screen and that is a plus as well.

It's great. It really is. These people complaining that it's heavy should be ignored, because honestly it's still super light. They must be used to ultra low end devices that are light because there is nothing in them. The material feels amazing. It's heavy and grippy enough to stay put on smooth surfaces, but light and smooth enough that it feels really good to carry it. It goes very well with the metal edges if the tablet itself, secures the pen wonderfully, and just generally works as you'd expect. I can't fault the design.I have encountered two issues though. The first is the placement if the screenshot button. It is right next to the backspace and I often hit it when deleting things because the keys are slightly smaller than the keyboard I'm used to on my computer (as you'd expect). It does get disruptive when I'm trying to work in something serious and it keeps making screenshots and deselecting when you were just typing. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it's troublesome at the moment. The second issue is with the way the keyboard secures itself to the tablet when it's all folded up. There's no latch or magnet on the far edge, so it can move around and open up very easily if you're carrying other things on it. I'm sure that is quite rare and therefore can't really get too upset by it, but a couple of times I have had to carry it with other things and the inevitable result was that the keyboard opened up enough for the tablet to turn on, and by the time it gets to that point it becomes easy to accidentally disconnect the keyboard, because it's pushed away from the few magnets that do hold it on. Very minor issue, but keep it in mind if you travel with stacks of things a lot, because you'll want to keep your tablet separate.

After purchasing the Galaxy Tab S7 I needed a cover that would protect it and be useful. The book cover keyboard does that. It is nicely built and although it is made from faux leather it feels like suede. It comes as two pieces that are held on with strong magnetic connectors. There is a cover for the S pen that also forms a ridge on the back giving the cover more of a grip when you are carrying it. The hinge on the back cover has good rigidity so you can prop the tablet at almost any angle. The hinge does not have the same hold as the one on the Surface Pro which resists being compressed. The hinge on the book cover easily collapses when pressure is applied. The keyboard is decent but takes a little bit to get used to it. Key travel is at a minimum. It is exceedingly difficult to balance this on your lap and use it. You will need to have it on a flat surface to type comfortably. The trackpad is ok. The magnets that hold the type cover are ok but not as strong as those on the back. The cover for the S pen is necessary - the magnets holding the S Pen to the tablet are not that strong. The cover is expensive, but if you want to use this tablet for any kind of production it is a must have item. I would recommed this to anyone.

This is an excellent keyboard for the Tab S7. The quality is very good. Keys are of acceptable size. Typing is relatively confortable. Trackpad works well though sometimes it is not sensitive enough. The selling point is the strong magnet that makes installing and removing very convenient. This the keyboard cover it totally change my way of using the tablet for more laptop like purposes. Protection-wise, it's ok. It does not protect the sides . Also, if you decide to remove the keyboard part and just use the back part, the tablet would be standing on the it's rim which will eventually scratch it. So you need to be careful. But still the flexibility of having a 2-piece design is appreacited. The problem is the price. It is too expensive to justify for what it is.

I highly recommend getting the Samsung keyboard with your Tab S7 or S7+. It offers a sharp-looking slim profile and excellent functionality. It has an elegant, out of the way storage solution solution for the S-Pen that comes with the tablet. Just tuck it into the back groove of the case and then it magnetically snaps in place. It's super easy to put the case onto the tablet and remove it, as it's all magnetic and easily fits in place. I rarely do this, as the case (without the keyboard) is so thin, it complements the tablet. The keyboard is magnetically attached, with the data and power port built in (like the iPad and Apple keyboards). The keyboard almost magically snaps on to the case without any fiddling around trying to get it lined up. So, if I want to enjoy media play without the keyboard, I pull the keyboard right off. When I need the keyboard back on, snap! It's goes perfectly in place. That easy. I love the kickstand in the back. I can adjust the angle of the screen in an unlimited manner. Plus the stand is rock solid. I have no concerns about it being flimsy and falling over or falling apart. The keyboard is smaller keyboard than a laptop keyboard (not much), but it doesn't take long to get used to it. The protection for the screen and back are more than adequate. However, there isn't a lot of side and corner protection, since they are exposed. You don't need to plug the keyboard in to charge or replace batteries, as it gets its charge being attached to the tablet. This is similar to what Apple does with its iPads and keyboards. The only thing is I wish Samsung provided media control on the keypad. Perhaps volume up and down using a Fn+volume up or volume down key combo. The Samsung Tab S7 & S7+ are extremely sharp looking devices. The Samsung keyboard adds versatility and protection, without sacrificing slimness and sharp look of the tablet. For added protection when I'm out and about with the tablet, I've purchased the Insignia™ - Universal Sleeve for Most Tablets Up to 10" at BestBuy and it fits the S7 tablet and keyboard like a glove, adding extra padding. This is too small of a case for the S+, however. When I'm ready to use the tablet with the keyboard case, I pull it out of the zipper top.

I like this keyboard. I’d try to find it when it’s on sale, and only get it if you actually see yourself typing. I love how it splits into two, so you have a little bit of a cover when you use it as a tablet. The trackpad isn’t as good as a normal laptop, but it will get the job done. Once you get used to the responsiveness it works pretty well though! The price is steep, so make sure you’ll really use it when you purchase it. I have it 4 stars and not 5 because it the price is a lot and the trackpad isn’t amazing, but I still like this purchase and would make it again knowing what I do know. Again, only get this if you will use it. The tablet is fantastic, but you don’t necessarily need this case to use the tablet.

I read a lot of negative reviews and watched some online also but decided to try it out for myself and im glad i did! I love the magnetic docking so that half of the case doesnt always have to be attached but when you need it you just magnetic click and start typing away. The swivel screen angle thing on the backbis awesome! The hinge is tight and the flap can serve as a handle when using the tab as a tab. The little s pen dock is GREAT and keeps the s pen docked and charging as well as secure and safe while mobiling around town and construction sites. It has worked out great for use and protection of the device and accessories and allows me to email, estimate and invoice way WAY FASTER than using the on screen keyboard. I don't regret buying this in any way, shape or form and would 100% recommend! Great quality material and build and has an antimicrobial coating! One star deduction due to price and there is no edge protection on 3 sides.

I like the ease the keyboard connects to the tablet. You can use either the screen keyboard or the atttached keyboard. If folded all the way back the keyboard will not type, a nice feature. If you are looking for protection this barely meets the criteria. While the back and keyboard do magnetically attach to both faces, the outer edges are not protected like an Otterbox would. So drops would most likely still result in damage. I use mine about half of the time without the keyboard. The rear cover leaves room for the pen, with a convenient, smaller, hinged cover for access. It also has a full-length kick stand to keep your tablet upright for watchin movies or repositioning your view.

I first thought (because of the thin, sleek design) there was very little substance to it's use and performance. Stupid me. Its flexible, detachable and adjustable qualities gives it the ability to successfully acclimate to many challenges. The adjustable kickstand is my favorite because the hinge is really sturdy and securely holds any position I place it. I can rely on the tablet standing firm while using the touch screen option of my tablet. It's more like a shield than a cover. So when combined with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7. . .you CAN judge a book by it's cover!
