I purchased a JBL bar 9.1 previously. While it was a great sound bar, the soundstage and Atmos effects were not up to the level of what I was hoping for. When I hooked up the Q950a to my Sony TV I am mediately noticed the difference. I did experience some compatibility issues and sound cut outs. So I splurged for a Samsung Q 90a TV for better compatibility and the Q-symphony feature. It absolutely works flawlessly, and I could not be more impressed. The positional audio is noticeable and accurate. Some people have complained about the sub, but I moved it around to a couple spots in the room and have it tuned just right. It’s extremely punchy and well integrated with the right positioning. I highly recommend this set up for anyone looking for immersive and accurate Atmos positioning!

I just bought the Q90A television and decided to pair it with the Q950A soundbar. I got everything plugged in, it synced right away and setup was a breeze, activated Q-sympathy and ran the Auto EQ feature. IT SOUNDS AMAZING! The soundbar is incredible, rear speakers are very strong, the bass is so strong from the sub that it was easily shaking my walls and Q-Symphony works great. Bottom line - invite your friends over because your front room will sound like a movie theater.

when looking to upgrade my current sound bar i wasnt originally looking to buy the biggest, baddest & definetely 1 of the newest, highest priced soundbars at that time. however when i came across the SAMSUNG - HW-Q950A 11.1.4 ch sound bar at best buy i was like a kid at a candy store. because i spend 90% of my life indoors at home a sound system this powerful with this many options and features was exactly what i needed regardless of the cost. even though the few people i do know thought i was crazy for buying such a large and expensive soundbar i just smiled and told them it would be worth it and it has peformed just as highly as i expected it to from the moment it was intstalled untill now.

The 950A is an amazing soundbar! The sound stage is grand and dialogue sounds great! I’ve had several soundbars in the past and I’ve had many issues with not being able to hear dialogue clearly. This is not an issue here. The subwoofer could use a little bit more punch but I’m am very impressed with the rear speakers. The audio does not cut out at all and that’s a huge deal! I was using the Sony HT-Z9F 3.1 channel Soundbar and it sounded great but the rear speakers I purchased separately always cut out. This soundbar comes with everything you need right out of the box! The Dolby Atmos is amazing and the rear speakers create a theater like experience! Great job Samsung!

When I say room filler...I mean room "FILLER"! I'm not talking about a ton of noise. The Samsung - HW-Q950A 11.1.4ch separate sounds with perfection. You're not going to get that hollow sound from your sound bar like you would get from Sonos and other top rank sound bars and I have listened to them "ALL" before purchasing. The Samsung - HW-Q950A 11.1.4ch fills my 20x21 living room effortlessly with deep rich bass (stick you sub against a wall in a corner or point the speaker 3 to 4 inches from the wall...you will thank me later). The atmos effect will do (you cannot top wired in-ceiling quailty speakers period). I haven't had any issues with this deal and I watched(music) everything with this deal. I just need this to hold me down until I purchase my forever home and put my 2nd theater room together.

Best sound system I even owned, has a lot of features to get the top of the line if you buy this. It's a little more difficult to set-up if you don't want own a Samsung tv , im using a High end Hdr 4k .High recommended!

The best soundbar system ever. I was in search for great quality but discreet since it would be set in the living room so had to make sure wifey approved and she loves it!!!!!! Great sound and true wireless with no complaints about connectivity. The bass is insane and boomin!!!! Samsung you’ve done it again!!!

I’m replacing a Bose soundbar and have been hesitant to do it. I tried replacing with an LG atmos bar and it was terrible. I liked the dynamic range of the Bose better so I have been picky. I took a leap to try out a Samsung bar, but would have 60 days to return it if I didn’t like it. I do. It feels like it has great stereo separation. The surround feels full and the sub it there but doesn’t dominate the rest of the sound. I, actually, wouldn’t mind the sub to be a little fuller… but it isn’t bad at all. I probably wouldn’t buy the 950T because the surround speakers on this one - the 950A - have 3 speakers built in instead of 2. I would buy it again and am not disappointed at all with the purchase. I considered getting the full Bose setup with the 900 soundbar and 700 sub and 700 surround. I am sure it would sound great but would cost another $800 or so more than this entire setup. One note is that it is a fabric covering and is totally an animal hair magnet. Also, the information display is on the top of the bar where you cannot see it unless you are standing over it.

This sound bar was the main reason for purchasing the Samsung 75 class Q70A QLED Tizen Tv. Sound is Great. I put away my receiver, center channel, powered sub woofer, speakers cleaned it up with this sound bar and absolutely love it. So many speakers in the bar itself then the surround speakers have 3 more, so crank it up and you will feel movie theater sound you never thought you could get out of a sound bar

I got a soundbar for sale, so happy at the beginning because of the sound quality. Later, I tried to test the Dolby Atmos, found out it's not working. Then i was on the phone with samsung tech support for about 3 hours, found out the hdmi earc port is not working on the soundbar, and the tv didn't detect the soundbar on the port. So, I have been using it on the wifi mode because the earc port is not working. You can see it on my pic, it shows (Wifi) after the soundbar, no (earc hdmi) available. Make sure you check your as well, so that you can use dolby atmos and a better sound quality Sound quality is excellent even on the wifi mode, however, if you want dolby atmos, you gotta be on hdmi earc mode. Sadly, I have to replace it, and hopefully the replacement work out ok. I will keep you guys update.

This is by far one of the best Soundbars I have ever seen much less heard unfortunately you can't adjust speakers separately you can adjust the rear from the front so you can't set your balance from your left to your right but still for being a soundbar and having a subwoofer it's awesome the subwoofer is a 8 inch sub it's in a box big enough to hold a 12" but it's an 8" and that thing if you crank it to 100% just rocks this place!!!

The Q925A is well worth the money and well spent. The comparison to my old one was well worth it for the Dolby atmos. If you're in Samsung ecosystem. This is a well worthy soundbar to pair with your Samsung tv. It sync with it so you only have to control it with one remote or use your Samsung phone to control it. Also watching it on a 85 inch makes it well home theater experience.

This Samsung/Magnolia sound bar was purchased alongside our 85" Samsung TV review separately. Realizing that the TV has it's own speakers but wanting a more richer fuller sound quality we elected to go this route... This set up has been nothing short of fantastic and I'd whole heartedly recumbent this sound bar to anyone

Purchased this to go with my Samsung 85” 4K tv. It is awesome! A whole new experience. Love the sound, love the look. Could not ask for more. Bonus wireless rear speakers an subwoofer! DYNOMITE!

Samsung’s first Dolby Atmos soundbar is just simply amazing. First impressions was, what was in this big heavy box? It’s just a soundbar, right? This soundbar is huge and so is the subwoofer and surround speakers. You can clearly tell that there are quite a few speakers in there. If you do decide to mount your rear surround speakers, make sure you get some sturdy mounts since the rear speakers have some weight to them since they are self-amplified and have multiple speakers inside. I placed the main soundbar under my screen in my theater room and placed both surround sound speakers on stands at head level while seated. The subwoofer is to the right of the screen on the floor. Connecting the soundbar was very easy via HDMI/ARC. You also get two HDMI inputs, an optical input and Bluetooth. The built-in Alexa works well controlling my lights in my theater room. Once connected to my SmartThings app, I was able to just tap my Galaxy to the soundbar and listen to my music wirelessly. Now for the sound. Compared to my 5.1 soundbar I had before, this sounds just incredible with a true 11.1.4ch sound. I’ve really missed going to the theaters and this totally makes up for it. I usually pay extra to watch movies in the “Dolby” screen to get that sound, and I feel that I have created that at home. I’ve played some sample Dolby Atmos videos from the Dolby App on my Xbox Series X and I am very impressed. Somehow it “throws” the sound around you that gives you the 360° sound. The bass is very loud and clear and fills the room where you can feel every boom. Movies just sound amazing and the dialogue is nice and clear. Gaming is just as wonderful. With Game Pro Mode, you get that 3D full immersion that you’re in the game and you hear everting coming from all around you and even above. This is definitely a top tier next-gen soundbar that you must hear. Disclaimer: This was purchased at a discount to provide my honest review.

Not worth the money at all! Regular cheaper model seems to do the same job!

This soundbar has a new 608mb software upgrade as of 8.12.2021. Samsung doesn't tell you what it changes but I assume it was this audible function and stability in connection. This sound bar rocks!!!! I needed to replace my old hw-k850. The sound bar now provides an audible notification when you switch inputs and when you switch audio settings. It will say "hdmi1", "Bluetooth", "adaptive sound", "game mode" etc. Which now helps negate the "display on top" gripe. This setting can be turned on the smart things app Satellite speakers are awesome and they get loud. They are some big boxes and I appreciate. These speakers have 3 speakers in them. So they are not the typical sw9500s speakers, for that reason. So if youre on the fence thinking about getting the q900 and getting the rears later, you'll be missing out. The sound bar has great low rumble. Sampled it using "without remorse" and "underground six". Subwoofer hammers!!! Connection into smart things was easy, literally plugged the sound bar in and launched smart things and it did the rest. I played in the app just to see the settings. There are some eq settings, but I use adaptive eq for my needs Earc is basically an on/off setting in my Hisense tv. It doesn't require any lip sync correction. I just turn earc on or back off to arc. When I use earc on standard cable, there is no way to get perfect lip sync. Each setting works perfectly where it's supposed to. The kravdat fabric is actually really nice, it's a sound fabric is actually design to reduce sound imperfections. The fabric actually reduces the overall weight of the bar rather than using a metal grill. It really has a functional purpose on the soundbar.bbthe fabric has very unique feel, it doesn't feel like the typicall fabric you see on the subwoofer. This fabric almost feels like a recycled cup holder. It feels hard and sturdy. You had to really out your hands on it to appreciate it. Also what people don't think about it with the metal grill, dust particles can travel into the speakers. This fabric stops stops that, again it functional. Overall this bar bangs, I've got the bar on 8 and it already is giving me a nice casual listening sound. The microphones pick up extremely well. I barely said "Alexa" and the tv muted waiting for my command. Surprised how well it picks up because my sound is physically behind my tv due to the style of tv mount I use. The response was really quick. The remote is the same as before. It pairs by Bluetooth but still has the IR function as well. I use an IR adapter since my soundbar is behind the tv. Remote works perfectly. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 star is because the unit should be completely controlled by Bluetooth. The other reason is they only give you a 5ft power cord to plug in these satellite speakers. I had to go and buy 10ft cords from Walmart for $10 each. You use these cords in a decent set. Samsung should give you 8ft power cords. I repurpose my Radiant R1 speaker stands by simply buying an "L" bracket from Amazon $15 and using a "1/4in 20x1/4" screw and a washer $2. Nice, sturdy, looks good and saved me money on new stands. 2 HDMI inputs with 2.1 rated ports according to Samsung, I haven't tested that. Buy this soundbar it's everything you need
