I wasn't looking for a 4K monitor but since it was on sale, might as well get the best, right? Plugged in my 2015 MacBook Pro and works like a charm. Also, have watched SD, HD, YouTube videos, and other media with no issues.

Any fast motion on this display, i.e. gaming, will not look great at all. Getting it at under $300 would be a decent value for anyone looking for a decent office monitor.

An easy navigation control to quickly adjust brightness, settings, and to turn on/off. I use it mainly for gaming but have also used to watch films with great quality. Best monitor I've owned.

However, when paired up to the new MacBook Pro 13" I was getting random screen flickers and snow. It would happen every minute and a half or so. I updated the drivers for the apple display adapter, but that didn't fix the issue. So this panel is awesome for the price unless you're planning to pair it up with a new macbook.

I needed to upgrade my additional monitor has regular 1920x180 does not look good next to a laptop than is so much better with resolution. This was very easy and looks good. Very pleased compared to other brands. This was also recommended by the guys at the store.

I returned them and purchased 2 Samsung monitors and they literally made me feel I was getting my moneys worth. Not to mention they were 1 inch bigger then the LG and close to $200 cheaper.

Good Monitor, some gripes

The issue I and many others face is that it doesn't support 4k content... it's not HDCP compliant. Seriously... apparently there was a firmware update, but all links are dead and Samsung refuses to support the product. Buy a different HDCP 2.2 supported monitor if you plan on using it for anything that requires that, which means no movies, Netflix and such will only be in 720 or 1080p max regardless of resolution settings. If that doesn't bother you, then here's the list of Pros. Glossy screen looks nice compared to typical matte finish. 1ms response time which is good for gaming. I would not recommend this monitor at this time.
