I love the device, it really small, blazing fast and easy to carry around. I'm using it as my MacBook time machine, highly recommended.

I needed a new storage device for my pictures after my laptop died. I didn’t want to risk losing years of memories. This is tiny and does the job. I bought a storage case on Amazon.

Love the sleek look of the item super easy to use just plugs in and out of computer and comes with an adapter for different port use which is also very great for the price. I work from home and mostly use it to store files and documents.

These things are SCARY fast and reliable. I have a bunch, and they’re the only SSD i’ve ever used. If you’re storing big files on an external drive, this is the one to get!

Super fast. It took a little over 10 secs to put a 4k video at 7gbs on this drive. Compared to a little over 2 minutes on my Seagate external hard drive. I bought a longer cord from Amazon and it’s a difference of 1 second. I wanted a 2tbsbut it was out of my price range. Technically I need 4tbs but that price is over 400. That’s why I am keeping my Seagate because it is 4tb. Also I glad I bought this one because it is compatible to my M1 IMAC, where the Seagate I cannot put anything on it from my M1. I can only view items from it and can’t save changes. Also for Mac users, it comes with a usb-c cord and there is no need for an adapter. I highly recommend this Sandisk SSD.

The sales rep at Best Buy recommended this SanDisk portable drive and said that it would provide quick backups. Boy, was he right! Whereas my 2015 technology drive took more than two hours to backup my Mac, this new drive takes less than 3 minutes. Amazing!!

I bought this one particularly to use it on my PS5 as we know PS5 storage is sort of limited and no real expansion NVME is available now, however, you can plug an external SSD and play your PS4 games off of it in your PS5. That is exactly what I used it for and by God this one delivers. The load times is as fast and in some cases (The Last Of Us 2) it loads even faster than the internal SSD ( I don't know why). So if you are buying this for your next gen console storage I highly recommend this. Its compact and its great value if you get the deal price. It also has amazing transfer speed on my laptop to from NVME internal drive to this SSD. I have the previous gen SSD of this model and it is actually twice as fast transferring data. So get it now if you are looking for an external SSD.

This nifty little drive is SO convenient! Smaller than a typical portable hard drive, yet larger and sturdier than a typical flash drive - it is just what I needed for storing files that I need to have readily available but don't have space for on my internal hard drive.

I bought this to tranfer my files from a university email address that was shutting down. I easily transferred all my files. Super user-friedly! Goes with both Mac and Windows. Very light and thin, easy to store long term!

I am Leary about backing up my data especially items containing sensitive information to any cloud. I prefer to keep such items backed up locally. I found the SanDisk Extreme Portable 1TB external drive to be just the answer I needed. It is fast and reliable, and the physical size make it easy to store or transport if necessarily.

I am really enjoying this purchase, I had a ton of photos I took for some sports photography and beach photos to get from my camera to my computer to a drive. This product works great!

I 1000% recommend this hard drive. I am a wedding photographer so the security of my raw images is my top priority. I have used LaCie, Western Digital passports and other external hard drives and have had 3 drives fail on me before. I have never had a problem with these Sandisk's. They are small, durable and fairly quick for editing on the go. I will always use SSD from here on out and these drives are my go-tos! I have three of these and will probably be ordering another one soon lol.

Despite many claims from others that these drives do not perform well or are failing on them, they are not for me. (*knock on wood*) I use multiple of these drives for my Video Production company and have had great experiences using them for a wide array of footage types and use in high demand video editing / storage scenarios. I travel with them, drop them and probably spill water on them every now and again -- they've been able to withstand it all.

This product is so easy to use! It’s a real plug and play product. The only thing that you need to know is that if you want it separately downloaded then you must do it one by one
