The Scuf Envision Pro controller is a game-changer in the world of gaming peripherals, offering an unparalleled level of customization and precision that enhances the overall gaming experience.
From the moment I unboxed the Scuf Envision Pro, it was clear that this controller was crafted with precision and quality in mind. The build quality is exceptional, with a sturdy yet comfortable feel in the hands. The design is sleek and modern, and the attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the textured grips to the responsive buttons.
The standout feature of the Scuf Envision Pro is undoubtedly its customizable design. The ability to personalize the controller to match individual preferences is a game enthusiast's dream come true. The interchangeable thumbsticks, paddles, and faceplates allow for a level of personalization that caters to various gaming styles. Whether you're a first-person shooter enthusiast or a fan of sports simulations, the Scuf Envision Pro adapts to your unique needs.
The paddle control system is a game-changer for those seeking a competitive edge. The additional paddles on the back of the controller provide extra programmable inputs, allowing for quicker and more efficient gameplay. It took a bit of time to get used to, but once integrated into my gaming routine, I found it to be a significant advantage in fast-paced and competitive scenarios.
The responsive and precise triggers further contribute to the overall immersive experience. The controller's sensitivity can be fine-tuned to match specific preferences, ensuring that every action in-game is executed with the utmost accuracy.
While the Scuf Envision Pro comes with a premium price tag, the investment is justified by the enhanced gaming performance and the longevity of the controller. The durable construction and the ability to replace components mean that this controller is built to withstand the rigors of intense gaming sessions.
In conclusion, the Scuf Envision Pro stands as a testament to innovation and quality in the gaming peripheral market. I have used Elite Series 2, Scuf impact, Scuf Reflex, and dualsense Aimcontroller. I have used the Scuf envision for 22 hours of in game play (Modern Warfare III)
Response time: early on many states that the envision couldn’t be OCed (increase polling rate) but over time (and I tested it) this controller has the best polling rate out of the box. Elite is about 4-5ms, dualsense 3.5-4.2ms (can be OC to 1ms with 8000 polling rate). While the envision stands a 1.2 -1.4ms with some samples as low as 1ms.
Features: well the side buttons is a nice touch but will touch on that later (under ergonomics). Although I am aware of the issues with iCue (which I have not experienced with controller but sure have with fan control etc) basically it is the elite series 2 level of mods on steroids.
Battery life: I have not tested since I am using on usb
Cost: you can compare to Scuf controllers itself or any other company that mods controllers and will find quickly that this is the best cost efficient controller out there. However, it’s PC only and if there is a PlayStation game port, you will still need a dualsense controller due to inputs that don’t exist on the envision (example: trackpad)
Ergonomics: here is where I will give a biased 6.5/10 due to being used to the 4 paddle location the elite and the AimControllers provide which is paddles located in areas that you can have 1 finger per paddle while the envision is made (I believe Based on how YT reviewers showed the controller) with 2 paddles per finger. The side buttons while useful, you can’t map buttons that could potentially impact your gameplay during an agitated gun fight. They are pretty sensitive and the location means that you finger will be in contact with the side button 24/7.
Build quality: I was shock to read some people said it feels “cheap”. In my opinion it feels even better than a stocks Xbox controller. However, if you get white version, expect that it will get dirty overtime. It’s white: it’s not if, is when it gets dirty or stains.
Getting used to it: give it time. It takes time to adjust to have a Xbox shape controller with thumbsticks centered and the new side buttons.
Category of games that benefit: easy FPS games and racing. Anything else can be played with a regular controller.
Conclusion: if you have a Best Buy close by, buy it from there. The return Christmas return policy kicked in this month which means that any purchase can be returned until January 13. This will give you plenty of time to test it out and come up with your own conclusions.
Lastly: happy gaming everyone!

Great Controller, Be Mindful on Game Pass

I was extremely hesitant to purchase this controller with mixed reviews online. I had seen some horrible things about stick drift and sensitive triggers out of the box, as well as the iCue software being terrible. I have used this one controller on both my desktop that already had iCue installed, as well as a legion go that had a fresh install for just this controller. No software issues on either device. I have experienced no stick drift, and my triggers are great as well! Last. Scuf ihad was for the 360, and I’ve used an original Elite controller since 2017. Having the shape of an Xbox controller with the parallel joysticks to only a few hours too get used to, And the sane goes for the back button design. The side-Sax buttons don’t get in the way either. I’d say in the 20+ hours of gameplay, Ive accidentally pressed them three times tops. I will say that game pass does not recognize it as an Xbox controller, so certain games that require a controller will not work with this one.

After conscientiously evaluating this product over a two-week period, I am pleased to offer it a commendable four-star rating. Employed extensively in conjunction with my PC gaming pursuits, particularly with MW3, I embarked upon a comparative analysis with other leading brands and Scuf controllers. Without reservation, I can assert that none have rivalled the superiority of this particular model.
One of its most striking features is the unparalleled level of customization imbued within the controller itself, elevating it to the upper echelons of gaming peripherals. Remarkably, even after protracted gaming sessions spanning over six hours, the controller remains impeccably ergonomic, ensuring sustained comfort and minimal fatigue.
Furthermore, the setup process is admirably streamlined, affording users a hassle-free experience. Regrettably, the only minor drawback, and the sole reason for withholding a perfect five-star rating, pertains to the occasional software glitches encountered within iCue. These sporadic instances necessitate vigilance to prevent inadvertent alteration of settings.
Despite this minor caveat, I am unequivocally content with the overall performance and functionality of this product. It has undoubtedly exceeded my expectations, affirming its status as a commendable addition to any discerning gamer's arsenal.

Straight out of the box requires some fine tuning to thumb sticks through Icue. I expected to hop right into games where I left off however that wasn’t the case. I had to watch a couple YouTube videos and tweak some settings to get the controller to feel just right . Icue software could use a little love on changing settings . Took a couple try’s to understand what I was doing but like I said I had to watch videos to find somewhat a good feeling.
in my opinion envision has a wired version that takes away the “wireless option” and “trigger stops” . As a pc player playing wireless always has that risk of losing connection so wired is definitely something I would go for. trigger stops to me seem like a gimic that you don’t necessarily need. Between the regular vs pro I don’t think you can remap as many buttons and or change profiles “g keys” like you could on the pro controller, if you were to go the non pro version but I don’t see that as much of a deal breaker.
The pro controller comes with side buttons but I don’t use them at all and they do not get in the way of playing.
as far as charging my controller is always wired so it continuously charges.
The four back buttons on the controller two of them are in an awkward position which are the higher buttons . I don’t see how anyone can swipe the tip of the finger to hit the button . If you’re used to Xbox pro controller these two buttons will feel out of place. I can’t say the same with the bottom buttons as they are in a perfect position to hit. I remapped the top two to be completely off so I don’t hit them by accident . All the buttons on the controller have a clicky feeling to it which feels nice playing.
I’ve had some worst controllers then this and I would recommend it to friends however there’s a few cons scuff should address if they were to ever make a pro 2 version.

It is a nice, quality controller and I like the ability to customize actions, the thing I am not a fan of is the side buttons and the under trigger buttons, I find myself frequently hitting a button unintentionally and attempting to hold the controller to try and prevent is not the most comfortable, but its is still a quality controller packed with options.

GREAT Controller for the price! 1ms Input delay and loving the triggers. I mainly play Rocket League and Call Of Duty and the extra buttons are perfect. Personally, it took about 3 days to fully get used to the feel of the controller but now I think I mastered it lol. I also take off the back 2 bumpers and the left side button as I kept hitting them on accident frequently. Lots of customization and wonderful feel.

PERFORMANCE GAMING DESIGNED FOR PC.
11 additional remappable inputs. Ultra-fast wireless connectivity. Advanced configuration software to push customization like never before. More control, more finesse, and more performance than your typical console controller.
FULLY PROGRAMMABLE G-KEYS
Five on-board buttons ready for any function you need. Simple Windows shortcuts. Advanced macros. Another button to map to your ‘Y’ button. The possibilities are endless.
Best of both worlds, no more picking and choosing with Adjustable Instant Triggers. Go from having a mouse-like click for your favorite shooter games to a smooth to a full range pull for RPG and racing style games with a simple flip of a switch. Available only on Envision Pro.
I can tell you it’s up my gaming on major first person shooters Apex, MW3, works wonders in New World.

Controller is great I have been using the elite pro 2 for some time. This controller got stick drift almost immediately but tuned with the software it’s playable. The added buttons makes it great for hitting keys like push to talk and pinging. I am a casual dad gamer who spends maybe 10 hrs a week gaming. Pick it up you won’t regret and buy some control freeks. Didn’t like the dome shaped sticks but the freekz fix it.

In general the control is very good, here some details about my experience.
The good:
* Easy to configure
* 2 Modes (USB / Wireless)
* Good battery life
* All buttons are like mouse clicks
* Trigger can be switched between mouse click or real complete trigger travel.
The Bad:
* iCue integration
The iCue software if ok when working, after a month of usage I start receiving error messages that the profiles in iCue didn't match the profiles on the device itself, only way I found to resolve that (before) was uninstalling and reinstalling the iCue software again + a factory reset on the controller.
Update: To avoid having this problems with the iCue software you can setup the hardware mapping and close the icue app before start playing. Only issue with that is hardare mapping will not allow to customize the 5 action buttons below the sticks. I hope the iCue issue is resolved soon so I can start mapping my actions buttons again.
Note: If you are using control freaks you are going to rub the face plate on the top left side of left stick, you may need to rotate the control freak until you find that sweet spot or sand one of the control freak clamp a little bit

This controller is great. The triggers and buttons are fantastic and super responsive. The controller itself feels amazing in my hands and the paddles are designed perfectly, providing a natural feel and placement for your fingers. 10/10 ergonomics! Being able to easily remove and change faceplates (because they’re magnetic) is a very nice touch. The ability to modify your triggers and buttons so easily and quickly makes for the dream controller every PC player wants. The only thing I will say is there are some bugs that still need to be worked out like the random disconnecting it does from time to time. Also, they forgot to add the ability to modify buttons to do whatever you want just like with another Corsair product. I know you can already do a lot but there are a few small things you can do on a mouse for example that you cannot do with this controller and it’s main highlight is that it’s completely modifiable. I know this is a Scuf product but with Corsair now owning them and launching this controller to be just like one of their products, they could have easily added these missing features. Overall, I do love this product! But don’t just take my word for it if you’re still on the fence about it. Buy it and test it out to see if it’s right for you!

This controller is hard to review because it’s both the best and worst pro controller I’ve owned.
When it works, it’s amazing. Its potential is only limited by your creativity. The back buttons aren’t the best you can get from a pro controller but having two more additional buttons on the sides and g keys makes up for it.
The problem is in the software. You NEED to run ICUE to take advantage of the customization options you’re given with this controller. And the software is extremely buggy.
It’s not uncommon for your mappings to simply vanish. Sometimes while swapping through different profiles the controller stops working and you have to restart or sometimes even uninstall everything and reinstall. At the moment I’m having a problem where the r2 button is stuck on an infinite auto press.
Maybe there’s a firmware update on the way but until then, buying this controller is a gamble.

This controller is very good and you get a lot of premium features for the price you pay. I would give this controller 5 stars if it had at least a 1000hz polling rate and static mouse click only triggers. I have had to return 2 of these controllers unfortunately. One had the left mouse click trigger stop working and the other had the left interior paddle stop functioning. All in all I highly recommend this controller.

So far I love. The buttons have a unique feedback but feel more responsive. The customization through iCue is almost limitless. I’ve been using Scuf controllers for years. This is by far their best product.
It was designed specifically for PC and really doesn’t leave anything to be desired.
Highly recommend to PC users that need to take a break from the mouse and keyboard sometimes.

This is an amazing controller for pc. It has only been a few days of use. I got it on release date 10/12. But, I can tell that this controller is a game changer for pc gaming. I own several custom controllers. And instantly can tell this is a level up above those. I have been using it for call of duty. And the responsiveness on pc is amazing. The icue software to remap and adjust trigger and thumb sticks settings is top tier. I highly recommend this controller for pc gamers. Finally a fully dedicated pc contoller that covers all the bases. The customization that Scuf is also known for applies to this controller as well. Faceplates, thumb sticks and etc. This will be one of the best pro customizable controllers out there on the market now and going into 2024.

One of the best feeling controllers I've felt in my hands. I love the mouse clicky buttons and the switch for the triggers. The only weird thing is the buttons next to the bumpers. I find myself accidentally squeezing and pressing them a lot so i had to turn them off in icue. Other than that, super worth it!

I had a xbox elite series 2 which lasted me about 3 years and was a great controller. I would say that its still one of the best controllers you can buy today. I purchased another elite series 2 but it was not working properly so i returned it and decided to give this a try. I did lots of research and read about all the issues with the iCue software and honestly had a little trouble understanding it and setting it up at first. However, theres a way to set up the controller and not have to have iCue open in the background. So once i figured that out i was good. Coming from the elite series 2, i wasnt used to this set up, in particular the back paddles. You cant rest four fingers on them like the elite series 2 so i only use my middle finger to switch between the four paddles. I got used to it after a few days and im starting to really like this controller. The input delay is almost nothing and one the best. I enjoy the mechanical switches and dont have any problems with stick drift after two weeks. So far so good. I give this a 9/10. I mostly use this for competitive FPS.

This controller has changed my past gaming experience, and has now made me a dedicated PC gamer; there are so many possibilities for the advanced user because of the additional 5 programmable buttons. Also, the paddles on the back can be remapped in the Corsair iCue hub; which for me was a pro in my buying decision being that all my input equipment is Corsair and is managed directly through the same hub.
I love it, for the design, customization options, and for the improvement it has already brought to my gaming experience… at $200 after tax, it is the most expensive controller I have ever purchased, but because of these additional features and the awesome collaboration between this device and the Corsair iCue hub. I’m very satisfied with this purchase at this price point primarily because of how the controller integrates into the same hub as my keyboard and mouse, and it’s clearly a high quality input device designed for pro users.
