I have several seagate and western digital hard drives mostly 2.0 now am moving up to 3.0 the price was right on this model I have no preference on hard drives get the best and biggest for the price you want to pay

Drive runs quiet, quick, and does not get that warm during use.

I used these to replace tow 3 TB drives that were failing.

reformatted to run on mac time machine , 0 problems!!

I was pleasantly surprised a the read and write speeds. I thought that it might be slower as I'm using it at 1.5 gb speeds

This hard drive runs at 7200rpm, which is pretty fast by spinning drive standards. I use it mainly as a backup drive for my high-resolution 50-megapixel photos. Works like a charm. So far, so good.

I changed my operating system from win 10 back to win 8.1 and this internal drive has moved itself to disc 0. It, so far, has not allowed me to designate it with a letter for access. I am going to take the drive out this weekend and try reinstalling 8.1 then reinstalling the drive and see if it is properly recognized. So right now I can give no better than average for the rating.

Used this hard drive with a Nyko Data Bank as the adapter to expand storage for our PS4. Works great! Easy to install and set up. The system does seem to be slightly slower, but no issues other than that. Very pleased with this product! And the price! Have already recommended it to other gamers.

Installed on my Xbox 1 and have huge storage space even with all of my xbox 360 and Xbox 1 games installed!! Don't waste your money on a upgraded system; just expand your storage capacity!

HD has met all of my requirements and was an excellent value. Installation was pretty easy. I use the PC on a daily basis and this new HD is used to store large temporary work files.

I do video editing a lot and filming in 4K takes up a lot of space. This drive is the perfect solution for backups. I plug them into a thunderbolt dock and everything just works.

The 4tb fit right into the Asus RG. It works perfectly with the SSD drive that was also installed at the same time. Lots of room now for video editing.

Product performs flawlessly.. Has incredible storage capacity for Video's & Pictures. This is the one to get for these type of usage.
