ok for the price. not a real hub

The usb ports work alright for charging devices but don't reliably connect the devices to the desktop of my Mac. I have a few external drives and they do not connect to the Mac when pluged in to the ports on this drive. The rive works great with Time Machine.

With 4-Tb of room and USB 3.0, I expect quicker backups that allow more than a single computer image. Comment: you probably need to open backup settings for Windows to recognize this as a backup drive.

Not for an iMac

Enough Space and Woks Well

I use this to backup my systems for restores in case of emergency and to keep some key data close at hand. It does the job and so far has been perfect.
